Pretty little cottage, equipped with everything you need for your stay. Tastefully decorated and very clean. Being able to take our small dog with us was a bonus. Hosts very informative, they also let us know their family would be coming into our garden whilst we were there to water the flowers. Beds very comfortable, we all slept well. Cottage location is idea for visiting other seaside towns. The view of the windmill was lovely.
The cottage is located in the hosts driveway next to their home. Garden much smaller than we thought. Unfortunately the pictures do not show this.
We appreciate the need for security today but there were many CCTV camera’s close and overlooking the cottage. One directly outside the bedroom doors that led out to the garden. This is a personal preference but we did not feel comfortable sitting outside or in the garden. Once our booking was made a £200 damages deposit was requested to be paid. I had not realised this but is returned very quickly after checks we made.

Parking is only for 1 car otherwise a short walk away.
Double bed is against a wall so only one way in
bathroom is under eves and its easy to hit your head using the loo and the sink. Only one bathroom has a shower

Superb location, quiet and peaceful with a wonderful view of a windmill.
Just about everything provided for, all you really need to take is food and drink.

Lovely hosts, a really well appointed and charming chalet. really comfy beds, all the mod cons with a lonely garden overlooking a historic windmill. would highly recommend.

Location was excellent --- perfect for coastal visits, historic buildings, walks and the like. Easy access to shops for provisions. Immaculate property and really convenient layout. Great parking.
In general all perfect, but we visited at a cold time of year and, although heating was more than adequate early morning and late evening, around early evening it would have been useful to "boost" some heat.
As a gent, using the under-eaves toilet upstairs was quirky!
Neither spoilt our stay and we would definitely recommend and go back 👍

Arundel Castle has a STUMPERY which is an amazing part of the beautiful grounds.
The low ceilings in the upper bedroom and ensuite! But you can’t do anything about that & there was a photo of it beforehand. I’ve probably knocked off a few thousand more brain neurones, but we’ll use the downstairs one another time! Would be fine for children.
Had we brought our dog, the garden available is small, but there are really good open spaces nearby for walking, and beautiful views.

Cleanliness and privacy
Damage deposit - never had to do this before. No dishwasher - would make more sense to have this in kitchen rather than a washing machine.

Lovely quirky comfortable cottage with separate bathroom facilities for both bedrooms. It wasn’t the best weather few days but could see that there was a lovely sitting out area. Debbie was also most helpful and always on hand if we ever needed.
The only down side for us, as we re not really a pet family, there was quite a strong doggy odour in the kitchen and lounge...but with the use of the lovely ESPA diffusers and through air with doors open, we were able to regulate by the 2nd day. We can however see that the cottage will be great for dog owners, due to the fenced garden and the local countryside.
