Loved staying at this cabin. Hot tub was very nice, had a campfire with s'mores. Make sure to take the short trail behind the fire pit to see a recess cave!

Three families with muliple children stayed at the Waccabuck Lodge during a mid-January weekend. This really was a great place for families. We arrived to a clean property! The cabin was spacious. There are 3 levels, each level having a full bathroom (main level also has a half bath) so each family took one level so there didn’t have to be sharing of bathrooms, and that worked out well. We would return to this property. The driveway is very steep. If there had been snow or ice, none of us were sure we’d have been able to make it up. Btw, that IS noted on the property description so we all were prepared in advance to have to walk up the driveway if needed.
Pros: Spacious, very close to hiking trails (Conkle’s Hollow was a favorite), warm, full baths on each level, an extra half bath on main level, wrap around deck (stars for days at night), wood burning fireplace, large kitchen & dining area, game room/extra living room WITH satellite TV, laundry, hot tub with private entrance, and more!
Cons: Really not a con, but be mindful of the steep drive & snow/ice.

Overall, this place is beautiful. The community area was wide open so it was easy to be a part of the action wherever you were hanging out. The porches had stunning views. It was very private and secluded. However, it was a short drive to all of the HHSP attractions. The bedrooms are small, adequate. It would have been nice to have some extra blankets as the nights were cool. The configuration of one of the bedrooms changed 2 months prior to our dates and we were unaware. Therefore, one of the couples had a bunk bed bedroom instead of a queen bed to sleep upon. I would highly recommend changing that back as you can still accommodate the same amount of people, but it's a better draw for a couples weekend. The hot tub was clean and a nice amenity. Overall, if the bedroom had a queen and a set of bunks instead of 2 sets of bunks, we would be happy to rent again!

Cabin getaway
Cabin was beautiful!
Two little issues - one was the sink in the basement didn't drain and other other was the couch on the main floor had large wood blocks sticking out of it. Two of us ran into them.

Beautiful Cabin
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Waccabuck Lodge! Even though the weather wasn't the best, we had a great time hanging out, playing games, etc. The cabin just brings a real cozy feel and we will definitely be back!!!!

Cabin Stay
The cabin is beautiful! The hot tub is also a nice addition. We were slightly displeased with the cleanliness of the property. Finding clothing, food, and pet supplies in beds and under couches. Also, previous guests trash was left in dumpster.

Wonderful Location
Before we arrived a stranger showed up at the property, "trying to check in." The property manager contacted us and went above and beyond to check out the property. She was very kind and helpful. She made sure there was no one at the property before our arrival. We loved the lodge! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the space! It's beautiful!

Great cabin for large groups
Great cabin for large groups. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Very clean. Only frustrating part- ice maker in freezer did not work (bring your own ice) and the fridge didn’t seem to stay very cold!

Beautiful cabin, great memories
Excellent place for large group. Lots to do at the cabin and beautiful trails nearby. The wrap around porch was beautiful and a large section covered which was perfect when it rained and we could still be outdoors. Highly recommended!

great cabin, but the fridge was broken, beds and floors made so much noise, woke us up at night.

Awesome Weekend Getaway!
We had a great time! Our large group was really well accommodated. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep, to sit and eat all together as a family, and space to relax and just enjoy the gorgeous view. The kitchen was by far the best equipped in any rental I’ve ever had (that large stock pot came in the clutch when cooking spaghetti for 16!). The folks at the rental office were super nice and super efficient. This location is perfect for any activities in the area. We went hiking, took a winery tour, and got some amazing local craft brews. It was an amazing weekend stay!
