Great house although living area was somewhat small for 10 people. The pool was great for small children and a quick dip to cool off for adults. The walk to the beach access was not bad at all, maybe 5 min.Housekeeping could have been a little better, beds looked like sheets and bedspreads were thrown on but beds themselves very comfy. House could use a few updates. Laundry room outside is somewhat of a inconvenience and carport was in need of cleaning. Blown off or washed down. Overall great location and views were awesome!

What a great time we had! The house was a perfect location! Had everything within walking or driving distance. The beach access is just down the street to the crosswalk. Not far at all.
Rundown cafe is right next door. We have been there before and we love that restaurant! Beautiful views from the deck as described. The company is extremely responsive and takes great care of your needs! plenary of beach chairs provided!! Remember to bring extra TP, hand soap, paper towels and dish soap. :)

I called 3 times for pool and jacuzzi to be cleaned, no one showed. 4 electric plugs had to be replaced, in kitchen, storm door was broken, doing laundry outside was not convenient at all! The pool was very small for a group of 9 people!

We found this place to have a great layout for our family's needs. The two master suites on the top floor were perfect for the 2 sets of grandparents and the middle floor was great for my son's family. Except for the fact that there was no dead bolt on the door leading to the middle deck. Our 4 year old grandson could open that door and go out whenever he wanted to. We ended up moving the couch in the pool table room in front of the door to keep our little ones safer. Better child locks would be nice in a house that advertises good for kids with highchair, gates etc. The title On the Beach was a little misleading since there were another row of houses between us and the beach, although overall we were pleased with the close proximity to the beach and beach access. However, the living room furniture was very uncomfortable. Needs to be updated. Sat very low and was very saggy. The kitchen cabinets were terribly dirty. We ended up taking all of the dishes out of the top ones, washing them all and cleaning the inside of the cupboards. I found leftover food and dirty dishes. The floors could have been cleaner also, but I do understand it's difficult at the beach, not to have sand in the house. The pool was small for the number of guests the house could hold. Needing to go outside across the driveway to do laundry was also a negative. The stairway down to the driveway was very dark at the bottom and difficult to see. Plus it had a terrible musty smell. However the pool man that came to service on our check in day was awesome. He emptied the hot tub and provided us with fresh water in their which was super nice. Overall nice place and location but could use a little maintenance.

Very nice house. Great ocean views. Short walk to beach access, although it's along the beach road with no sidewalks, so not a safe walk. Nice pool area. Need to walk outside to get to the laundry room. Ceiling fans in first floor bedrooms are very noisy. Several bathrooms were not cleaned upon arrival. Only one refrigerator, so if you stock a lot of drinks, there is limited space. Overall, a nice house to rent, but could use a lot of upgrades and maintenance.

The location was great. This was the first time we rented a house that wasn't beachfront and we were worried using a public beach access would result in a crowded beach. However, that was not the case. walking distance to restaurants and shops.

My/families experience was great. The layout of the house was perfect for our needs. It would've been helpful to have toilet paper,a roll of paper towels and a garbage bag there when we arrived but all worked out ok. It also would have been helpful to no that the pool was stained brown (not dirty) I felt bad calling in maintenance only to find out it was stained. The pool taker was very nice and professional and retested all the chemical levels and they were all perfect. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family. My family truely enjoyed our stay thank you so much.

We appreciate the opportunity to stay at: On the Beach 65. Our experience there with family was wonderful. We enjoyed the pool( we didn't choose to get it heated but we still had fun after we got use to it) and hot tub. A few things not too good was the broken wood chairs on the top deck with exposed rusty nails. When we arrived we noticed two garbage cans full of trash that were not taken out in time. ( we looked around and saw all other cans in the area were out on the street but empty. Key to laundry room was no where to be found so by Monday someone came out with one and also someone came out to help with WIFI. Wasn't taking the number we all put in correctly. Already spoke with someone about rusted outside doorknob to bedroom and the broken blinds in the same bedroom. Three different guest saw roaches. They said they were not water bugs but roaches. The house had everything we needed. ( was stocked well ) My mom broke a plastic serving plate so we bought two in different sizes and kept them there. Some things I understand are hard to keep up with because so many people rent the houses but some need to be fixed right away because of someone getting hurt. It was a nice experience overall with having family all together. A lot of laughter in that house. Thank you

This is our 7th trip to the Outer Banks and this ended up being one of our favorite houses! Very easy check in at the realty office, gorgeous clean house, and plenty of amenities to make it feel like home! The only thing that would make this better was if it was ocean front. Other than that, we couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Pool, hot tub, pool table, PS3, ocean views, short walk to the beach. Kitchen has everything you need. Amazing DVD collection. Tv in every bedroom is a bonus for me time before bed for everyone. Only thing that can make it better is a screened in covered area over the hot tub to the house up too to keep the mosquitoes out on rainy days and evenings after it rained and there's no wind and also a gate at the top of the steps on the front steps since it's a pet friendly house.

The size and bedroom situation was perfect for our party of 8. Access to the beach was great. Location next to restaurant gave no problem but the noise of air conditioners was a bit bothersome at night as well as ceiling fans being noisy. Some family members who require very dark rooms for sleep wished the shades were a bit darker. The burners on the stove seemed to need cleaning as even boiling water sometimes set off the smoke detector. This house was fine but we all felt that our last two houses, Mystic Memories and Cape May were a bit better equipped.

The house was great. The only problem was the pile of dirty, towels from the previous week. They made the lower stairwell smell terrible so we moved them outside where they sat for another 3 days. I sent multiple texts and it was finally resolved with a couple phone calls.

The home was very clean and ready for us at the appointed time. The home has all the amities that you need plus more. The third floor balcony Was very comfortable and had great views. The hot tub on the street side was great to relax in at night and watch the traffic or the waves hit the beach.
The new mattress were great and we all had a great nights rest every night.
The house sits right next a restaurant so it is very convenient for lunch or dinner. They have a one or two person band on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
The restaurant closes at 9 so it is not a disturbance.
The fishing pier is close by and a Duck Donuts is a short walk from the house.

Our vacation was Great ���� just a few problems. Upon arriving the driveway and underneath the house was flooded and laundry room and pool, they cleaned up But it was still a mess stuff laying around, I think we left the place cleaner than when we got there. The place is awesome But needs some updates like nails coming up on the deck and steps, A MUST more frying pans!!! the table and chairs in kitchen getting wobbly, New mini blinds to replace some of the broken ones. Other than that the place was great and we would stay again .
