Very good location and we loved the front porch. We didn't like the ants, some spray would be helpful. The steps are very steep and the upstairs landing is small. A larger TV would be nice too.

Great place. Love NorthBeach. My son and his family live nearby making it convenient when we visit. It is a great vibe. The house is less than 5 mins from the beginning of boardwalk.The house was spacious ,clean and comfortable. Beautiful decor but not fancy just cozy

We had a great time at Norma's cottage. Charming, comfortable house with plenty of room for our family of four and even a fenced in backyard for our dog. Easy walk to the boardwalk, beach, and great restaurants. Great front porch for a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. Very friendly neighborhood. Easy drive from DC area. Would return :)

The house was very nice & comfortable, could not have been happier. the beds were very comfortable, the house was very clean and well equipped with anything needed for living and beach. Deck/porch very enjoyable for relaxing. We met Norma when she dropped off some nice snacks for us. If ever in the are again, would stay here! Thank you NORMA, very lovely place.

Lovely location, 10 mins walk to the Beach. Well equipped throughout, with seating outside in the Garden, and on the Varanda. Will be back.

We returned to Md. to bury my dad. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we needed to find a place to stay for the week. This house was perfect! After the services, we had a little over an hour before the graveside services and the house was just a block from the church, so we all had time to gather and talk. It worked out perfectly!

House was as listed. Loved the wrap around front porch and spent most of my time out there. Only a few blocks away from the beach, but did have to lug our stuff there which was a bit annoying. Realized on the last day that the owner provides a cart to make it easier:). The owner really did think of everything from Beach chairs to a legit beachy decor to get us in the mood. All in all was a great stay. My only complaints are that the bathroom doors did not lock and front door was also tricky to lock. There was also an ant problem, mostly in the kitchen but also throughout the house. Owner was also not the easiest to reach via email but to be fair she did leave her phone number which I never tried to call.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute little house with a beautiful front porch close by the beach on Chesapeake Bay . We spent most of our time on the front porch and back deck but the one afternoon when we had a shower the living room was great for games. Everything was perfect and within walking distance of north beach shops and the swimming beach. Would love to stay here again.

This property was perfect! The house is clean and charming and was perfect for my family to hang out at in between the wedding events!

Just like home and such a wonderful host. Everything is pristine and well kept. I love the bath tub and all the extra amenities she has though of: plenty of nice linens, Keurig, salt, pepper, sugar, cleaning supplies and paper products. Everyone is so kind in the nieighborhood and I enjoyed the nearby beach/boards and stores. This is my new go to place when visiting family.

My mother-in-law lives in north beach and my family and I have rented this property twice while visiting her. It’s a wonderful play for a low-key, peaceful stay. The proximity to the beach and local stores is a major plus. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed a few nights in early March, pretty cold weather most of the time, but the furnace did its job and kept us warm. The boardwalk is very nice, and the cottage is, too. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of silverware and dishes. And the hostess, Norma, is local, so we had a chance to get acquainted.

We had a great time! Plenty of space for our family of 4 (2 adults, 13 and 10yo) to spread out and recoup after the days adventures.

First of all, Norma is a wonderful hostess! Communication with her is fast and easy- we spoke both thru messages and by telephone. Her Beachwalk Cottage is spacious, comfortable and has everything my family and I needed for a pleasant week's vacation.The fenced in back yard provided my 2 small dogs with a safe place to play, and being able to bring them with us made our vacation complete. Walkability to the beach,shops and restaurants is minimal, our vehicle was parked most of the week! I would absolutely recommend Beachwalk Cottage to anyone considering a stay in Chesapeake Beach- you will not be disappointed!

Easy walk to the North Beach beach which is tiny but good for kiddies and walkable to shops and Boardwalk. We stayed here to be near the kids sailing camp and enjoyed 4th July fireworks at Herrington with minimal fuss. Very laidback— the local farmers market is great source for local veg and Vaughan’s attisanal cheese; local coop Chesapeake. Bounty excellent source for crabs and oysters. The house was clean spacious and handily located.

The house was perfect! Plenty of room, well stocked and perfect location. The house was very clean ,the description was accurate, the host was available for questions via messaging, the house was cool and the porches were amazing!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at this rental property. It’s a Beautiful cottage!! The house is less than a ten minute walk to the beach. The house had a season pass for the beach which was a plus. I had to call to get the lock code because it was never emailed but she answered quickly and we were able to get inside promptly. The house is beautifully maintained. Back yard was great having a fenced in area to bring our dog. Grass was long upon arrival but within an hour of letting the Realator know she had someone over cutting the grass! They were in catch up mode due to lots of rain the week prior so not anyone’s fault. We could have used some more pots and pans but there were plenty of towels and even a beach wagon that was super useful! There was some confusion about check out time as the Vrbo booking clearly stated check out time was 11 am then I got a text from the realtor right before 10 saying check out was at 10 am and the cleaning people would be there promptly. I did message back saying I’m sorry we were going by the info on our booking confirmation and we did try to get out as quickly as possible but we wish there was a little more communication there. Other rentals I’ve done usually have a book with check in/check out info and guidelines. This rental did have a folder with the WiFi info and local restaurants but I think something like that could be super useful to avoid any confusion. All in all a great rental for a quick getaway and we truly enjoyed our time at the cottage

Highly recommended this place, 5 mins walking to the beach, neighborhood so nice and friendly,clean house with huge backyard, a lot of space to spend time outside even at raining day. The Kitchen is full of everything what u need, freezer was full of ice cubes. the only one thing no central AC, but kitchen and bedroom upstairs has portable conditioner. It was a little hot at night time.

My family and I am at its property because it’s a few blocks away from where my mother-in-law lives but we needed a little space and privacy for this trip. It was perfect! A great vacation house, very conveniently located for my family and Knee. It was very clean and Norma, the proprietor , was helpful every step of the way. We will definitely stay there again!

Enjoyed the well-furnished house and easy check-in/out process. Close walk to North Beaches boardwalk, beach and cute downtown. A lovely vacation!

Really nice town located conveniently close to Calvert Cliffs State Park and Chesapeake Bay beaches.

We enjoyed our stay at this North Beach property very much. We were in town to visit family. We didn't have much time for sight-seeing but did make it to a local restaurant and walk to the boardwalk. The location was great and the house was perfectly suited for our family.

Stayed here a weekend with husband, 5 yo son and 2 small dogs. Even though the cottage is not updated, it is very comfortable, clean and homey and walking distance to beach and boardwalk. A very nice place to stay! Well stocked kitchen, blankets, towels and outdoor furniture - even has a couple of beach chairs and wagon! Would stay here again!

Our family enjoyed this beautiful home in North Beach. It was a post Christmas getaway and we enjoyed discovering North Beach. Home was beautifully decorated and everything very comfortable. Owner is a delight!
