We weren’t actually at the house very much, but the view was beautiful and house was clean. I didn’t realize we needed our own sheets until I was reading on our way up so thank goodness Target was close! Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at this precious boathouse was truly perfect. From the moment I started communicating with the owner, I knew we had made a wonderful choice. We were made to feel welcome and were given all kinds of wonderful recommendations of sights to see & places to eat. Once we ladies stepped into the home we felt as if we truly were directly on the water as we were surrounded by the beautiful tranquility of the lake, the pelicans floating by & the gorgeous trees. The cottage was decorated so warm & cozy with every possible thing you could need to cook, relax and enjoy every moment just as we did. We loved all the the outdoor seating options to take in the fresh air & shoot the most fabulous photos during sunset. The balcony was the loveliest spot to sip our morning coffee and listen to the birds sing. The beds were very comfy & when i opened my window I was soothed by the sounds of the water crashing along the rocks. We felt very comfortable & at home while there and loved it so much that instead of dining out for dinner we chose to grill steaks & savor the serenity of the boathouse. We played games & shared many laughs making memories that will last a lifetime. We would definitely come back to this little piece of paradise again♥️

Cute relaxing house right on the water. Close to town yet tucked away and remote. Nice patio to sit and watch the geese, seagulls pelicans and others. Only glitch would be internet was unable to connect wifi and cell service was limited.

Loved, loved,loved this VRBO! I can't say enough good about it. Wonderful place to relax and view the bay. Many options to sit outside with your group. Quiet location that makes you forget that you are in busy door county. Small, but in the best way possible. Plenty of room for 4 people. Waterfront Marys is just down the road for a fun and tasty fish boil!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the boathouse. The views are gorgeous and the house is full of warmth and charm. The location is convenient for exploring any and all that Door County has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a girls weekend to celebrate a friends birthday. The house and property, were well maintained and immediately welcoming. The view of the lake was great. We enjoyed two nights of a nice relaxing fire and drinking local wines. We already planning our next trip for next year

This property is wonderful! The sunrises are absolutely gorgeous!! And campfires a couple feet from the water can’t be beat! We played games, watched movies, and relaxed with an incredible view of the water and the sound of the waves lapping at the shore. The house has Alexa so you can listen to any song your heart desires. Also, their tv has Netflix and other apps so you can watch movies or tv shows in the evening. It’s cozy and relaxing and everything we could have asked for and more! The owner is so incredibly nice and goes out of the way to ensure your stay is pleasant and you have everything you need. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! 12/10 would recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at the boat house. The property was very clean and so adorable! It’s definitely right on the water. The property manager was very communicative and answered any questions we had right away. There was a nice little outdoor area we would have loved to use but we came during some not so lovely weather. A great property we would book again.

The boathouse was spotless clean, everything we needed was there. We enjoyed watching all of the birds fishing on the lake. We even had a deer swim right past the windows!! We would stay here again?

This is an adorable quaint getaway with outstanding views and quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the firepit and just relaxing by the water. Owner is extremely responsive and accommodating.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay! We love waking to the beautiful sunrise over the water and relaxing with a fire in the firepit at night. A short distance from everything we wanted to visit.

This cute & cozy little haven was exactly what I wanted and the pictures were true. The view was AMAZING. We got in late the first day and didn’t have the opportunity to see the sunset. And the next few days were cloudy but being on the water was all worth it for me. This trip was for my daughter and I and two of our dear friends. We visit Door County often and the house we stay at has to have character and must be by or on the water, this place was PERFECT as it was literally rubbing elbows next to the Lake. I loved listening to the waves crashing near us. We were there on the first week of October and even though it was cold outside the place gets warm rather quickly after turning up the furnace. Parking was right across the road and reserved for our SUV, very convenient. Since it was dark when we checked in - we drove passed it a couple times, but trust your GPS and get out of the car and find the cute little gate that leads you down the steps to the walkway/side of the house. This is an ideal place for a romantic getaway or for friends to get together and unwind and enjoy the view. LOVED IT! I will definitely reserve this place again.

Perfect location for a getaway with an amazing view of the water.

The best part about our trip was coming back to this place each night. Watching ships being built across the canal and hearing the waves each morning was incredible. And it's central location on the peninsula is ideal no matter where your adventure may take you.

This was the perfect place for a girls trip. The house was so cute, perfect size for us and such an amazing feeling of being right on the water! Brian was a fantastic house, communicated quickly and even sent recommendations for things in the area, we loved them all!!

Loved our stay at the boathouse, it was theost pleasant VRBO place we've rented. It's private, but sunny and is literally right on the shore. I don't usually care about the decor, (I'm a guy, what can I say?) but I immediately felt comfortable here. If you're coming to Door county rent this place. You won't regret it.

Perfect for a family of four!

My husband and I rented this property for 3 days along with our 4 year old son. The boathouse itself was very impressive, we loved the bright colors and the view was beautiful being right on the water! The house decor was a nice touch and my son especially loved the house had an Alexa so he could play his favorite songs. The deck was amazing with the views of the water, and the firepit was very nice, we were even catching fish right off the deck the first night. The house was conveniently located down a dead-end road right on the outskirts of the city, so it was not a far drive to town but also set back enough to were we did not have to hear a lot of traffic going by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back again! Thank you for sharing your lovely boathouse with us, we have so many great memories from our trip!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming boathouse. Had dinner the first night on the small balcony just off the living room and felt like we were right on the water. Went to bed at night to the gentle lapping of the water.

My family stayed here while attending the Door County triathlon. We had a great weekend and really enjoyed the fire pit. We will be back. Thanks!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time away at this sweet bohemian hideaway. The only comment is the large refrigerator does not stay refrigerated. A small one was on site and worked well but couldn’t hold everything purchased for the week. Nothing to spoil the trip but just good to know if staying longer than a few days.

Adorable lakeside home. Beautiful panoramic views from the window filled living room. Quiet, clean, and close to everything!

The house is small, cute and comfortable. Sunrises are spectacular. My husband and I would stay here again. The poor rating to ‘Communication with the Property Manager’ is do to we had no need to contact anyone. It was a lovely stay.

We came up for a weekend visit from the Chicago suburbs for our 6 year anniversary and it was amazing. We absolutely love door county and we will definitely be back. The house cute with fun colors and you can’t beat being right on the water. I loved the little touches with the family pictures and plaques especially the one out on the deck. This living area of this cottage is literally right over the water. The view is great, and the decor of the house is just fun. It is whimsical and comfortable. You keep seeing new cute things. It was a great stay--highly recommended.
