“Castaways" Atlantic Beach Family Fun Cottage
~ Pas de dégâts d'ouragan du tout ~ Jolie maison de vacances, chauffage central et climatisation, capacité d'accueil de huit personnes, coin cuisine / séjour, deux chambres à coucher privées et une "véranda du sommeil", une salle de bain Il y a aussi une douche chaude / froide sur le porche arrière. Grande cour arrière pour la collecte. Trois pâtés de maisons de la plage avec une passerelle d'accès public à la plage juste à côté de la maison. Il y a un dépôt de 50% au moment de la réservation et le solde est dû deux semaines avant le check-in. Vendredi au vendredi location à la semaine complète uniquement dans les mois d'été: juin, juillet, août. Désolé, nous n'autorisons pas les animaux domestiques. S'il vous plaît ne pas apporter un animal de compagnie.

The cottage was just right for us. It was immaculate and amply furnished with many cute decorations. It was a short walk to the beach and a few restaurants and the weather was great.

The description matched perfectly. The 2 inside bedrooms are spacious and the sleeping porch is great for accommodating extra people. The washer and dryer on site are great amenities for a beach trip. Would definitely stay again!

The best little house I've ever seen! It was cozy, a short stroll to the beach, and well located! Since it's a peaceful, quiet location, we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The beds were tidy and comfortable. Everything you need to prepare a meal is in the kitchen. You can use the extra games and toys while you're there. It was, in fact, my favorite so far! The host provided everything we could possibly need! Overall a GREAT PLACE TO VACATION! We are ready to go back and will be returning!!

This was the best little cottage ever!! It was clean, close to everything, a short walk to the beach, and so cozy! It’s a quiet area with low light so, we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The beds were comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. There are spare toys and games to use while there. It truly was my favorite so far! We can not wait to return.

This was a very nice cottage. It was equipped with all we needed to have a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and tidy. The living room furniture was very soft and comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well. We loved the outside shower and having a clothesline for our swimsuits and towels was extra nice. Quick and convenient walk to the beach was great! We also were able to walk to restaurants and ride our bikes through the neighboring streets. We had a memorable week with our family and will definitely come back!

Second Big Rock stay for me. Kieth is great host and house is well stocked for anything you need. Love the short walk to the beach in the morning to see sunrise and short walk to the pier. Plan on staying again next year. This is a great value . If you wondering you should book it .

This house was perfect for our stay. We decided on this trip very last minute and were so happy to find this place. My best friend and I took four 13yr old girls to the beach for the weekend for my daughter's birthday. The front bedroom that sleeps four was the perfect teenage hangout "den." The outdoor shower added a perfect extra shower for 6 girls! We brought stuff to make s'mores but didn't end up doing so because of wind, but the firpit was perfect! The location was great! A quick, easy walk to the beach access. We would love to go back again! Thank you!

This property is a great place to stay. The owners were amazing! We were close to restaurants, short walk to the beach, close to Fort macon and stores. We enjoyed Smores in the backyard and rocking chairs on the front porch on a quiet street.

Upon arrival, we sat in the driveway for an hour before we could walk in. They were still cleaning until 10 after 4. The bathroom, one of the bedroom doors and the back door did not close &/or open correctly. If you close the bathroom door, you have to use all of your body weight to jerk it open which wakes everyone in the house. It is an older house, but could have had some simple cosmetic adjustments made. There was an appearance of 2 roaches during our stay, both of which were in close proximity of our 16 month old. We were offered late check out, but actually left a day earlier due to being so uncomfortable.

Our Castaway's stay
A great little cottage. Very homey, clean, and comfortable. Everything you could possibly need is there. All you need to bring are your clothes, and the food you want. Short walk to the beach, and the right of way path is right off the property. Very convenient. Clothesline in the back yard for hanging your swimsuits and towels, and there is a picnic table, grill, and fire pit available. Owners are great, and available anytime you need anything. Very enjoyable stay, as was our stay last year.

The cottage is perfect for a relaxing vacation. Clean, comfortable and close to the beach. Have been taking my summer vacation here since 2013. Owners are terrific people and I've never considered staying anywhere else on the island. Thanks again for another excellent stay.

Just the cutest!
Our second time staying here and once again we just LOVED it. Everything is well maintained; the furniture and beds are comfortable; and they have everything you can think of you would need on site! Quick walk to the beach on a sweet footpath, close to restaurants, the pier and most importantly the beach. This is just a gem!!!
