Unbeatable location and the owner is absolutely lovely. We sat down with the owner for some tea tasting and bought quite a bit. The tea itself is worth the trip up the mountain.

Make sure you bring food for dinner otherwise it can be quite the trek down into the closest town. Make sure you arrive well before sunset!!

Not too far away to drive to Alishan. Beds were very comfortable. The view was gorgeous. Breakfast was tasty.

The building appears to built from uninsulated cement block which means it was very cold and the common spaces were very echoey. At night you could hear workers getting up to do work on the first floor in the rooms because of the echo problem. otherwise a great place to stay.

I think there should really be a heater in the room. Consider bringing your own if traveling in winter.

The homestay is in the middle of the tea field and you can see the mist floating around from the room window which is hugh, stunning views The owner made sure that we had different breakfasts in those two days we stayed and always offering the suggestions.

It is not possible to walk from the bus station to the hotel but the owner kindly offered free shuttle service whenever we need to leave the hotel. The room is on the ground floor, right next to one of the lounges so get a bit noisy sometime.

The hostel is clean and comfortable. I’m glad that they can provide vegetarian breakfast, it’s delicious!

The location is not that convenient but the host is so nice to offer us a ride to the bus station every morning! Thanks to that!

Location on a tea farm, owner friendly, served us his own tea in the morning! View of Alishan is amazing, huge windows, nice duplex, and loft style rooms for families.

Breakfast needs to be improved. It was the only thing that let down the whole experience. The place is still quite new with things that are still not in place such as credit card readers, no English capability.
