Gills - Waterfront House in Culburra Beach
Maison front de mer absolue dans la belle plage de Culburra. Étape sur la route et en deux minutes à pied, vous êtes sur votre propre plage de la rivière - nager, kayak, pêcher, marcher, se détendre - puis revenez à une maison de plage joliment aménagée avec de nouveaux meubles. Beaucoup d'endroits pour se détendre - salon lumineux, terrasse sur le toit, salle de jeux avec grande télévision à écran plat supplémentaire, immense arrière et cour avant - donnant sur une réserve de brousse faisant équipe avec des oiseaux. 8 personnes et les chiens sont les bienvenus. Culburra Beach à dix minutes à pied. Un endroit très spécial. Respirez à nouveau aux branchies!
Faites autant ou aussi peu que vous le souhaitez - parez toute la journée avec un bon livre dans l'un des nombreux espaces de détente proposés par la maison ou en deux minutes, vous pourrez vous baigner sur la plage de la rivière Crookhaven. Gills waterfront house was perfect for a quiet girls weekend. The photos accurately depicted the beauty of this house and the comfortable spaces within.
The well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook up delicious meals and the large collection of DVDs meant we had ample girly movies on hand to watch after our day at Callala beach.
We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

My favourite place was morning coffee on the rooftop terrace watching and listening to the local wildlife while the sun came up.
Clean, comfortable, close to everything. Loved that there were things in the shed we could use.
Mozzies were the only downfall, but it had been wet weather on and off.

This was our second stay at Gill's place. It's Located across the road from the Crookhaven river and not far from the beach.
The house is very well equipped and has a really calm feel about it.

So close to the river, we never saw our girls. So much for them to do with all the games and equipment so generously supplied by the house.

Loved our stay at Gill's. Great location, everything you need in a house with comfy beds and a bonus to bring your dogs on holiday. The bird life was spectacular and we loved our walks down to the river beach. We'll definitely be back.

Very comfortable and cosy well equipped kitchen. Walk across a track to river.Overlooked if internet available which isn’t and although a holiday /break for a few days we still needed to manage things requiring internet with our business.
Comfy beds. No smart Tv so sport crazy hubby couldn’t livestream his sport on a rainy day.
Excellent communication with host.Lawn not mowed which made it hard to find our beautiful girl ( border collie dog) clean ups which we had to search for.
Great it’s pet friendly good sized yard if mowed and neat.Overall we relaxed but next time we visit will find a property with internet access just a necessity these days.Overall a comfortable well equipped accommodation we enjoyed our stay.

The house was even nicer than the pictures. Definitely much more spacious than I was expecting. Lovely, peaceful location. Close to the beach and just across the road from the inlet. Good information provided by the host about local facilities and places to visit. I will definitely recommend this property to friends!

We had a wonderful stay at Gill’s gorgeous house. The location is beautiful and the house is spacious and comfortable and has everything we needed. We had a lovely couple of days and would have liked to have had time to stay longer! We would definitely recommend it!

Quiet street. Tidy inside and out. Minimal clutter which is what we like. Simplicity. Well-appointed. Lots of storage spaces. Just enough utensils in the kitchen and laundry. 2 toilets is a plus. Big yard with a good lay-out. Good library of CDs, books and games. We are fans.

A Perfect Location
Gill's house is in a lovely quiet spot, across the road and a short walk through the bush to the river. It is well presented and has everything you could need for a holiday. We enjoyed having drinks on the rooftop deck.

Clean. Practical. Organised. Ideal South Coast quiet. The kids equally loved the river beach and Northern Warrain beach (patrolled). They also loved the kids room and bunks. Rooftop balcony was a hit too for watching birds in the evenings. Lovely stay. Excellent host.

Loved our stay
Our family including our 2 boys and dog all had a fabulous stay at Gill’s place. The place was lovely and well equipped with everything we needed - kitchen equipment, DVDs, puzzles and sporting items. From the moment we booked, all our communication with Gill was helpful and seamless. We loved being close to the river and the beach - and we think the dog loved it the most!

Great stay
Property was just as described. Loved the birdlife and although the river beach was not picture perfect due flooding for 3 days I could see it would be a great place to hang out, swim and relax. Some great photo opportunities with local lookouts, lighthouse and coastal walks. There was room for the boat in the carport(although not many fish due to the flooded river) maybe next time. All good!

Cute house, with everything you need.
We really loved staying at Gills house for the weekend. The super quiet neighbourhood suited us perfectly. A short walk across the road and down the bush track to the river beach was great. Enjoyed the quaint local shops too.
Having the rumpus room/kids bedroom was perfect for the kids while us adults were in the main part of the house. Then all of us playing games around the kitchen table. Our little dog had lots of fun running around the backyard too.
Such a beautiful spot on the south coast. We look forward to staying again.

Fantastic Culburra getaway
We loved our stay at Gill's place. The house is really fresh and bright and clean. We really enjoyed hanging out on the deck and listening to all the bird life while sipping G&Ts. It was great to be able to bring our dog - he loved the backyard and his walks across the road by the river. I was also super impressed to find a rental with good sharp knives for cooking :) I am sure we will be back.

Peaceful and relaxing stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Gill’s house. The neighbourhood is quiet and calm with a great beach across the road that is dog friendly. We loved being able to bring our dog on our holiday and the house is perfectly suited for a pouch. Fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook at the house and the DVD’s/books were great touches. Hope to come back again soon.

Culburra getaway
Our family of 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 small dogs really enjoyed our Xmas stay at Gill's. We made the most of a WiFi-free time as a family and explored the lagoon beach aswell as the surf beach at Culburra. The place was quiet and tranquil and has all the modern amenities as well as a contemporary fresh decor. The dogs enjoyed the backyard space and happily chilled out with us. Gill was awesome and communicated well during our stay and we would recommend her home to others.

Nice quiet location and very close to river and beach
Family enjoyed the stay! Got lucky with the weather too for April. House is set up well, everything we needed. Enjoyed the top deck for some food and drinks. Perfect access to the river for the dogs to run around at low tide. Also fairly close to Culburra Beach. Cheers.

Lovely, welcoming cottage with everything you need for a perfect coastal holiday.
Ideal holiday cottage with plenty of room for a family or just one or two people - and a dog or two. Lots of lovely touches from cookbooks to fans, DVDs, games, surfboards and bicycles - even a water bowl for the dog. Comfy beds that are made up when you arrive, so all you need to bring is your own towels. The living area is roomy and cosy at the same time and the upstairs deck is perfect. It's opposite the rived and close to the beach. The place is great and the personal touches make it really special.

Fantastic place to stay in Culburra
Great vibes, great stay. We took our three kids and dog and found the house to be fantastic. Very clean and well looked after. Big yard out the back and beautiful leafy outlook. Exactly what you want when going to the south coast - character, relaxation and nature.

Very comfortable property - we loved the easy access to Crookhaven Beach
Very comfortable property for our family of four and spoodle. Main living area was kept cool by excellent air-conditioning and fans, and the boys loved the rumpus room area. Very clean and what felt like new interior. An easy walk through scrub to access Crookhaven Beach, a new place for us to explore, and perfect for quick and easy dog walks. Whilst we have previously stayed on the main beach, and missed the location, this was a great, far more affordable, alternative for the high summer season. Still an easy 15 minute walk to the surf (or a very quick drive in the heat!). Gill was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive.
