This was our second stay at Lands End condos, such a great rental property. We had a great experience booking with Resort Rentals, friendly and informative. We were able to get a very early check in that I am eternally grateful for. Our unit #401 in building 7 was spacious and quite comfortable. We were on the top floor so the view was priceless. We watched dolphins swimming by every morning while drinking our coffee on the balcony. The beach is just steps from the condo, it is beautiful, clean and quiet. Caddys on the Beach is a short stroll down the beach serving up great Son of a Beach breakfast burritos and delicious morning cocktails. Our new favorite place to indulge in some all you can eat crab legs is a short drive away at R Bar, great service and great food. Get there early, they are always busy. There is great souvenir shopping at Johns Pass, and nearby jet ski and parasailing. You can't beat Lands End for location, your away from it all while still being close enough to enjoy everything Treasure Island has to offer. We are already booked for next year.

Overall, the experience was very good. The condo has aged some and could use an upgrade. As several reviews pointed out, the appliances and furniture are a little "tired". The location is fantastic and the unit was very clean. Property management was fantastic. Would definitely lease again, but would prefer a unit in a little better condition.

This year we stayed during the week of May 16th through the 23rd 2015. These condos have been our getaway for at least 10 yrs now. The Gulf views are breathtaking. The condo is nice but is in need of updating. We've stayed in this particular condo twice over the years and it seems unchanged even though it sees the vacationer traffic it does. Other than updating the kitchen and bathrooms, the only thing that needs work is the general attitude of the "owners" concerning people enjoying the pool. In 2014 my wife and daughter were made to feel very uncomfortable at the pool and because of that, my niece refused to go there, this week. I've read this kind of sentiment in other reviews as well and am considering our options for future vacation stays.

We loved Lands End. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Our condo had a beautiful view of the beach, channel, sunsets and dolphins! We loved our walks on the beach and boardwalk. If you like long walks, Caddies is a great bar/restaurant about a mile and half up the beach.Our condo was clean when we arrived, beds were made up with fresh sheets and plenty of towels for everyone. However, the condo is beginning to show its age: carpet is fraying at the edges, furniture is getting worn and silverware needs attention. These deficiencies, however, would not stop us from staying here again.

The area was very nice and attractive. Lots to do in and around Treasure Island. The pool was nice and relaxing. Only negative is that the staff patrol that comes around the pool once an hour needs to lighten up. Down right rude and very vocal to anyone that is slightly aside from the pool rules. They need to sharpen their people skills. Also, thanks to property management for giving us the wrong set of keys to our condo. Nothing like having ice cream and milk in your trunk for an extra half hour because they would not bring the right keys to us.

We have been coming to Lands End for 30 years, we actually owned a u it for 20 years. It is disappointin to see the property not as kept as it used to be, it's such a jewel, still beautiful. We have rented this unit 7-401 for 4 years. We will no longer. Found another end u it that appears, at least from the pictures, to be somewhat updated and hopefully cleaner. As I bought my place the same year this was built and know not one thing has been updated or painted in 30 years. The appliances rusted and nasty. The kitchen sink and bathroom sinks are so stained, no enamel left, can't clean! The walls and baseboards are filthy, need to be cleaned.and painted. The rug is also filthy. The furniture inside a d out is, just say ridiculous. Deck rug is molded and worn through in spots to concrete. No matching deck furniture and 2 chairs needed to have inside pillows so you didn't fall through the webbing. I guess by now you get.the point. Every year the rate increases substantialy. If this family wants to be on the rental program, they need to start upgrading, at least clean and paint. We will always return to Lands End,just not to that unit. Disappointed!!!

The perfect view
We loved our stay at Lands End! This place is wonderful and the view can’t be beat! It’s right off the beach and a short drive to everything. Nothing is really walking distance unless you want to walk a few miles to restaurants and stores. But the private and gated community was perfect and we felt very safe and away from the busy vacationers. The unit has temporary carpet laid throughout the home which is not shown in the pictures. We will definitely be back back to these condos.

Nicely updated condo, but pictures show wood floor throughout but there was carpeting there when we arrived, bathroom toilets, floors and showers could have been cleaner.

The unit does need some TLC it started out with missing light bulbs in 3 rooms, there is also ones missing in the living room. The dishwasher top shelve appeared to be hanging down on one side. When we arrived and started to make some food there were dirty dishes put away without being washed. When we started staying at Lands End it was nice that each family would leave the cleaning supplies that was unused so the next visitor could utilize it, there was no little extras that was left behind. In the departure notice it stated that there were be a charge for damaged or ruined linens, well the bedding already had stains as well as the towels. The screen on the left side of the balcony was broken and appears to have been that way for awhile. It seems that the bakeware was never replaced as there was only one cookie sheet. I think that the rental units really need to have a walk thru before the next vacationers arrive.

Private Getaway
The condo was exactly as described with incredible views and a private beach. Very clean and great location in a gated community. One maintenance issue with the door locks and the property manager had a service person there to fix within 30 minutes. Perfect family getaway and highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

1. pictures of the property need to be updated to show to carpet, not laminate.
2. Pots and pans on the kitchen need to be replaced as they all worn out and have scratched up.
3. Some lightbulbs were missing/not working
4. Please provide at least one individual size washing machine detergent. This is customary when the unit furnished with the washer/dryer.
5. One of the throw blanket had multiple holes and needs to be replaced.
6. While the unit appears to be clean, there are a few issues i wanted to list out: hair in the shower drain, dusty baseboards and sugar ants in the kitchen and bathroom.

We loved staying in this condo. It was beautifully decorated and view was amazing! I will rent this again if available next year. We vacation on the week of July 4th and we stay at Lands end every year. This was our 10th year staying here and we will be back. This particular condo did not have a good coffee maker. It blew up on me the last day so, that will need replaced.

The only thing I could definitely say needs to be done was maybe forgo some of the decor and replace the doors! Like all of them but definitely the outside ones. They did not work at all. And windows as well. Some didn't even have screens. But otherwise nice place. A little far away from everything than I'm used to and the bands across the waterways got a little loud if you are there to relax. But the main thing.... The doors.

I have stayed at Land’s End at least 5 times now and keep coming back because I love the location. I picked this particular room because it had no carpet, was a corner unit with an extra large balcony and I liked the layout where the living room windows added to the view. It really is a panoramic view of the ocean. However, I was very disappointed in the lack of cleaning. You could tell someone had been in to clean but, it was basically a fluff job. There was a bug behind the bedroom door and half the pots and pans were dirty. Also, it is not actually tiled throughout the unit, carpet has been laid and the pictures not updated. The patio furniture is not as shown in the pictures either. There is one lounger not two and it seemed to be broken. I had requested that the pillows and comforters be left off the beds because we were bringing our own but, that request went unfulfilled. I have had no less then five people ask me about my stay and their first question is always, “was it clean” and I had to say not unless you want to clean yourself when you arrive. This could have been my favorite unit if it had not been for the lack of cleaning and inaccurate pictures. Honestly, it needs a fresh coat of paint on the walls, baseboards, and doors. So much potential that fell flat.

We have been going to Lands End for several years now. The gated community and location are phenomenal. This unit was recently updated and they did a spectacular job. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. We really appreciated the beach chairs and other beach items that were provided. The pull out sleeper sofa was very comfortable--which you do not find very often. We did have some issues with the TV working in the bedroom with the twin beds. Overall, would highly recommend this unit.

We stayed for a month and I wasn’t ready to leave.We kept saying “This must be the best unit in the development!” Comfortable, clean, sunny and spacious with a jaw dropping view from the front and side. I loved waking up in the morning to be greeted by the Gulf. Everything is updated and kitchen is well appointed. The rental company was responsive. We had an issue with the dishwasher and they fixed it the next day. One thing to be aware of ... there is a bar across the canal with live music most nights and during the day on the weekends, which you can hear when the windows are open. It usually ended by 10 on week nights and 11 on weekends. We had to close the windows to sleep, but it was festive when we were awake.

This condo is lovely and the views and sounds of the Gulf are wonderful. The layout of the condo is perfect and watching the dolphins jumping in the waves was exciting. Furnishings are nice.

Every year we stay in this resort and every year we are happy and satisfied with everything. Very clean and everything was prepared for us to enjoy our vacation. Also a very big thanks to the management who helped us as soon as we reached out. 100% satisfied will be coming back next year!

This is our 6th year at Lands End 401 and continues to be our favorite place to stay in Florida. Building 7 401 overlooks some of the grounds, the boardwalk and the beach. The sunsets are magnificent.
The unit was upgraded again this year with the installation of carpeting in the living room and bedrooms. It is very clean, has adequate kitchen utensils, plates and silverware. I strongly recommend new cushions on the balcony furniture as the old ones are worn out and paper thin.
Resort Rentals is a wonderful, guest friendly organization. I have rented through them for six years and have never had a problem booking, checking in or checking out.
We will be back to 401 next year!
