ocean front, great restaurant for lunch & dinner

The hotel name on booking.com DOES NOT MATCH the name on the physical hotel. No clear directions were given on where to park, how to find the place since it was a completely different name. no English speaking staff except the housekeeper. She was great but when she was not around it was more challenging (but this is my problem, not theirs!).

We had booked at another property owned by the same group 3 months earlier. only a short time before we got there we received a message to say the our booking had to be changed to another hotel as our booking was unavailable due to technical issues. in reality the building was being renovated!! if we had had more notice I would have considered other hotels. Maybe that’s why we were not told earlier. The hotel room was very small and for two with baggage was not ideal. Thankfully the staff carried our bags up and down to and from 3rd floor.

Just a bit of a sea view

Pictures posted are also from the other hotel. This one “la gîte” is very narrow, old and basic. Old windows, poor quality furniture. The view is right on the beach but in front of the window is a restaurant so …

spacious room. Comfortable Mattras, clean and bright. All along the room the balcony facing the sea.

The entrance to the building where the bedroom is located. it’s on an alley/ very narrow street with garbage/trash huge containers lining up along the wall. While check in is done at the receptionist of a hotel with another name on the sea side board walk, we have to go around behind to find the entrance to the room. luckily it is on the second floor. Thus view is straight to the sea. no lift. The people (tourists or permanent residents in the floor above) have dogs. 2 at least whom owners take them a lot outside who use the staircases. Quite a noise.

Cold. They didn't heat enough. The smell in the apartma. It was stinking from the street or from the hotel's kitchen. To small and cold bathroom. The entrance and very narrow stairs. The mouse in the night gnawed somewhere under the pavement. All we could bare but coldness. And then the price was certainly overdose: 185 eur per night with the very simple or let say poor breakfast. The view is not enough for the hospitality.

Excellent location in from of the beach.

The parking was far and a little difficult to find.

The stairs were a challenge but the room was sparkling clean and cheerful. The bathroom looked brand new. The view is everything! Our windows opened onto the sea!

We arrived from Paris early and were told that we could leave our bags until checkin. Oir room was not ready until after 5 PM!!!

The fact to be able to hear the waves all night long

Amazing sea view. Dreamy. Good brek tooo. Fantastic location.

Parking slightly tricky in very high season, but we managed to park nearby at 2pm no real problem. Have been here before in early July and parking after 6pm was easy just by the beachfront.

When we arrived there was no hot water and other room was freezing, almost became sick the first night. But the staff was very kind and offered us to not pay for the first night, breakfast and another room. Very cute hotel with friendly staff. Merci!
