Perfect location in Vieux Lille. Great communication through out from our hosts. Apartment ideal for short stay

perfect location, close to the city center

very thin walls with no noise insulation. I got woken up every day at 06:00 from people walking around the appartement above and walking down the stairs. at nights due to the busy bars close to the apartment noisy groups passing by and hanging around did not let us rest until 02:00. also the bathroom is in desperate need of a complete bathroom renovation.

It was pretty large appartement for three ppl, with a little garden opened to sky and blocked by walls and windows. Even if still people staying upstairs can look down to this garden, it could be fun to have some drinks or if u smoke you can avoid annoying others. Good location, first floor with big window so the room was luminous enough. In the night u have curtains to block the light totally. Kitchen was good with some basic ingredients to cook however we did not eat inside. The host prepared enough blankets and pillows for a guest to sleep at the sofa bed.

We barley slept due to the constant nosies from upstairs. Basically it didn’t seem to have a strong and thick wall between here and upstair studio. Even when people just pass by the corridor or go up and down the stairs, we felt like they walk just next to us. So when ppl speak and laugh, it’s worse. We asked them for not making too much noises however basically they were just daily noises and we heard almost everything. Also bathroom was so tiny and only one inside the main bedroom. Compared to the quality of facility of the studio, it was not what we wanted.

Keybox arrangement for flexible check-in/check-out was perfect. Location was great - close to shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. Easy 15 minute walk to other attractions within the city. Very convenient. The 1 bedroom apartment is a bit tight if you add kids to the sleeper-sofa and have more than just 2 adults, but unless you are planning to spend lots of time inside it works perfectly fine for a family room (versus having to book two separate rooms at a traditional hotel).

It is a downstairs apartment in an old building so when the people upstairs walked around the creaking floors was very, very loud. This is typical for these types of apartments but it does make it hard to get a good nights sleep.

Everything was perfect! The apartment is very clean and comfortable. I recommended
