We've been visiting Hideaway bay for the last decade. This house has been our favourite so far. From easy access to the beach and stunning views this place has it all.
The beds were very comfortable, kitchen stocked well with appliances and utensils. A lovely crystal clear pool to enjoy when the beach gets too hot.
Everything what we needed for our trip. We can't believe we've never found it before. Will definitely be returning next year if we can get the dates we need.
Hosts really have thought of everything. Highly recommend this beautiful property for a short or longer getaway to paradise.

This was an absolutely amazing place to stay in. The house, view, pool, neighbours and area were very amazing. Will be coming again but this time without the kids. Just so i can relax. It's the place to relax and reset the batteries.

Amazing! Did not want to leave! Everything was perfect. The house, the views, the area & region, the fishing. We had the utmost perfect family holiday (with adult kids & pooch) to celebrate a 50th birthday. Such a beautiful spot. We’ll be back to visit. Thank you to Louise for the opportunity to stay here & to Jules & PJ for being wonderful caretakers. The flowers on arrival were also a gorgeous touch.

Pool is lovely and Pet provisions, Eg well fenced area is an added, & valuable bonus for those with Dogs.
A drive to Airlie, but worth it if you want Peace, a view, your Pet and a lovely property.

Fantastic location with a panoramic view of the bay. Great to have own pool, with the beach only a small walk away. Loved exploring the nearby islands in our boat. Great kitchen with all we needed for our stay. Fantastic neighbours and community, with our fur baby "hugh" having the time of his life. Hope to be back again soon!

Unfortunately we had week of torrential rain but fortunately we were very comfortable staying at Lorikeet. Louise made contact to ensure we were OK, and the caretakers Jules and PJ were incredible, offering extra dry towels, any food items we may have needed as the roads were closed. We would love to come again when the weather is fine so we can really enjoy Hydeaway Bay and the spectacular views from Lorikeet.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The home has the most amazing view over the water and Whitsundays from the front deck. The property had everything you needed and is conveniently located in the beautiful quiet town of Hideaway bay. The kids loved the pool. The property was also well set up with fully fenced yard for the dogs. The caretakers were very helpful with making sure everything was in order and providing local advice. We can’t wait to come back and stay in this beautiful home again.

Fantastic property with amazing views and close to a number of very nice quiet beaches. The house is fully stocked with everything you may need and very clean. Would definitely stay again. Since it is away from the hustle and bustle just make sure you grab all the groceries and beer before you arrive from town.

We stayed for 2 weeks over the September school holidays. The weather was perfect and the location is great for a quiet getaway with the family. We didn't meet the caretakers, although they did come and do things at the property unannounced a number of times while we were out for the day, which we thought was a little strange & discourteous.
It's a lovely comfortable house with a well stocked kitchen and amazing views.

Paradise
Our stay at Lorikeet Lodge was sheer bliss. The home provided us with a 180 degrees majestic vista of picture perfect blue sea and also the islands dotted around the Whitsundays. When tired of the view you can swim in the fabulous pool. Louise was a fabulous host and it was comforting to have Jules (caretaker) nearby. This home is a must when in the area. Five stars ⭐️ all the way.

A Relaxing Timeout
This is our second time staying in Louise's beautiful property. We are so appreciative that she allows pets as we were able to holiday with our much loved dogs. Our days were spent on the front verandah overlooking the stunning Hideaway Bay or in the private pool in the backyard or down at the beach. The addition of air conditioning in the bedrooms makes for a comfortable sleep and the house is well equiped. The booking process is easy and communication is prompt and we would recommend this property to everyone.

Afternoon bliss!
We throughoughly enjoyed this property, location was great, we were a little worried at first about parking the boat on a hill but it was perfect! Plenty of room to back our boat in out of the weather and off the street. Afternoons were delightful to watch and listen to the lorikeets, we all had the best sleep listening to the waves and feeling the ocean breeze through the front bedrooms. Plenty of room and plenty of creature comforts we'd have in our own homes. Louise was an ease to deal with and we look forward to staying again!

Xmas tranquility
Just beautiful..can never get enough of the magical view while relaxing on the huge deck. Walks, fishing, birds galore, swimming in the pool, had everything you need. Our fur baby also loved it . Fully fenced, comfy beds, amazing beeeze, just loved it. Excellent host and caretaker communication. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely week with our two dogs. House is great, all the items you could need. Lovely pool and amazing views, sunrise was a treat each morning from the veranda.

Paradise
My husband and I are total opposite ends of the spectrum, yet this place was so good for both us and our dogs. When we arrived the property was everything we could ask for, clean, room and very comfy. The house was so well equipped that you did not have to leave there. Now the views, well what can I say, to wake up to the cool breezes and that view of the most beautiful blue sea and Islands was just paradise. We are trying to organise our next trip but this time we want to share it with our kids, partners and grandkids. Thank you Louise for allowing us to share your beautiful home.

The house was fully self contained ++. Loved that the house had just those little extras (toy box full of puzzles and kids toys), books to read, pool towels (not just bath towels) and all the pantry items u never thought to pack but realise u need (paper towels, oil, clothes detergent etc).
There is an easement in front of the house and across the rd to walk directly down the hill to the beach rather then following the road around the block.
We will be returning when we can. Loved it.

Excellent holiday getaway
Our second trip back to Lorikeet Lodge and it was just as wonderful as our first!! Gorgeous views all day and night, magical sounds of waves rolling and crashing on the shore, excellent facilities at the house for our large group of family and friends, 24/7 pool, quiet and peaceful neighbours, fabulous caretakers - Julie & PJ, wonderful place to relax and recharge. Fantastic weekend, the house is beautifully located to give you a fantastic view of the bay. The pool was shaded and the water was cool. the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, very modern. We enjoyed the alfresco dinning on the balcony while enjoying the view. Hydeaway Bay's best kept secret
We were wowed the moment we arrived at the address for Lorikeet Lodge, Hydeaway Bay.. The house was so clean, the swimming pool was sparkling and inviting and very private. The views were spectacular. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed.
The house is very open plan which allowed the breeze to keep the house cool.
Jules and PJ the care takers were warm and welcoming and full of knowledge about Hydeaway Bay and surrounding areas. You ask and they will tell you whatever you need to know.
Absolutely loved our few days here and we will definitely be back.
