We stayed here for a week in July 2024. We had an amazing trip! Stephanie, the owner was excellent with communication from the beginning. Our favorite part of the villa was the huge deck with couches, table and chairs, hammocks and loungers overlooking the beautiful golf course! Great views and don’t see other villas from there. We would start and end our days sitting out there.! The pedestrian walkway to the beach and pool were scenic and quick. The description of the villa was accurate. We initially were worried about no ac in the living room but it was fine because we kept the big doors wide open and got the breeze. The Ac’s in bedroom worked great. Blue Bay resort is wonderful with the beach, pool, and restaurants. Central location to explore the entire island!

We stayed at Villa Divi Divi in March 2024 as a group of 7 (1 infant). Not only was the villa well equipped for our youngest traveler, with a crib and 2 high chairs, but it was a perfect homebase for a vacation and adventure to be remembered! The Blue Bay Resort is safe, impeccably maintained, and boasts wonderful amenities including a beauty of a beach. The villa itself is equally as lovely, with beautiful views of the golf course, books to read, hammocks to lounge on, and a killer indoor/outdoor speaker system.
The kitchen is well-equipped for basic food preparation, although admittedly not ideal for cooking large or involved meals. The fantastic restaurants on site more than make up for it!
My only warning is to come prepared for the bugs in the evening, and to sleep with the provided bug nets. The bugs in Curacao, as it turns out, are as relentless as the heat and good times.
You will not regret your stay at Villa Divi Divi. I am already planning my next visit.

We loved this trip so much and the location was perfect. The view of the golf course is beautiful, there is alot of privacy, too. It's less than 5 min walk to the beach and less to the pool.
The place itself was great although the outdoor fan didn't work which was a drag. We used the AC at nights only and we had alot of wiggle room on the electricity allotment.
The bugs are terrible so that's frustrating, but the big bets help. Can't blame the place for the bugs anyway.

Cons: the lighting is absolutely awful and there aren't really good places to store clothes. The biggest con is actually the company that services the check in. They were aggressive about needing an arrival time so they could leave us a note letting us know they would come between 10&11 the next day which was very inconvenient. They also didn't give us any helpful info anyway so it was an annoying waste of our time. The directions to the house are also hard to understand, but there is a reception near where you enter and they will give good directions!!
Overall we loved it and hope to be back

The villa was well situated with a lovely view of the golf course and a spacious patio to soak it all in. It was also well equipped with all the necessary amenities you'd find at home.
In terms of areas for improvement, the villa could have been outfitted with another AC as the temperature on the island is usually quite hot. Also the amount of electricity covered by the rental is not too realistic given the temperature on the island, especially where a medium to large family is renting the premises.

We were a family of 5 adults and 1 child and we enjoyed Villa Divi Divi. The location is great as it's private overlooking the golf course/lake. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Stephanie did a great job communicating with us and provided us with very helpful travel guide for Curacao. Thank you.

We hebben het verblijf als zeer prettig ervaren. Zowel het contact met de eigenaresse als de property management verloopt heel snel en goed. Een aanrader! Ook kun je dichtbij op hetzelfde resort een auto huren, wat heel fijn is.

We have stayed at this same villa on this property twice. It is a great location for privacy with lovely views of the 18th fairway and the flamingos which hang around the waterway there. It is well equipped and the owner always responds promptly regarding any questions/issues.

Lovely prime location in BlueBay with privacy
What we most love of these villa’s is the large and shady terrace. There is always a nice wind blowing across the terrace; one has a nice free view across the golfcourse, see the flamingos in the lake across the villa, watch the sunset and the many birds that come along if you feed them some fruit. The big table in the kitchen is very handy, there are plenty of plates, cutlery and wine glasses but there could be more smaller drinking glasses (and some plastic ones for kids). We have rented a number of these villa’s, but this one has one off the best private locations in the Village of BlueBay. There were a few minor inconveniences (oven and ice maker not working which could not be fixed) but otherwise everything one needs was there. The terrace chairs are comfortable and plenty and there is a big dinner table with 8 chairs on the terrace.

The beach and the snorkling at Blue Bay is fantastic and was one of the best that we came across on the island. Other great beaches/parks that we enjoyed were Cas Abou, Playa Kalki, Porto Marie and also hiking on the island, such as up to the Christoffel mountain and in the magnificent Shete Boka park. Willemstadt was nice and had some good museums. The restaurants we visited were good and relaxed, and it was a laid back feeling that we enjoyed. Centrum Supermarket is only 5 min with car from the villa, and it was a well stocked dutch-carribean supermarket where we could find all we wanted re food, water and drinks.

Wat een geweldige plek om je vakantie op Curaçao door te brengen.
Huisje schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien. Het muggenapparaat wat op de veranda staat doet goed zijn best. Prachtig uitzicht op de golfbaan en niet onbelangrijk lekker op de wind. We had a perfect stay in Villa Divi Divi. The view over the golf was amazing. We could see parrots and flamingos from the terrace. The walk to the beach in only 5 mn allowed our children to be independant and circulate safely in the resort. The Blue Bay resort is located in the middle of the island so it is easy to go west or east: this an ideal location to discover Curacao. The contact with the owner and property manager was great. We will definitely come again!

Curacao Bliss
Perfect property for doing everything! The location is excellent; short walk along lovely garden paths to the pool and the awesome beach. Also a couple of great restaurants and the beach bar hosting daily Happy Hour! The villa is well equipped with even some extra perks like snorkels and flippers with which to discover the great snorkelling available right off the beach. The owner is exceptionally prompt and thorough (and patient) in answering questions. A couple minor issues were attended to immediately. For golfers, note there is an extra perk of a discount using the property card. You cannot go wrong with spending your vacation at Villa Divi Divi.

Great stay at lovely villa Divi Divi #48
We certainly enjoyed our recent 11 days stay at Villa Divi Divi #48 in Blue Bay Resort. The Villa was very well equipped and centrally located near the parking place in the Resort, with a short walk to the pool, beach and golf course.
The wrap-around veranda was a great spot to sit and view the gorgeous flowers and lovely singing colourful birds. The flamingos, iguanas and other local species in the pond on the golf course were a highlight - great viewing with your morning coffee!
The beach was never over crowded while providing some of the best snorkeling on the island. The Villa and Resort are family oriented.
Stephanie is a very gracious and knowledgeable host, providing lots of information on the sites and activities on Curacao to enhance your stay.
The Centrum store is located close by, providing easy and economical access to all grocery needs while staying at the Villa.
Blue Bay is in a good central location for exploring the island, a rental car is a must. Both the north end and the east side of Williamstad take between 30 and 45 minutes depending on traffic. After visiting the various beaches on the island, we felt Blue Bay was one of the prettiest beaches.
I certainly would recommend the Blue Bay Resort and Villa Divi Divi #48 for a relaxing vacation experience.

Superbe Séjour
La villa est idéalement située dans un domaine sécurisé avec golf, piscines et plage privée. Elle est particulièrement confortable et agréable à vivre. Wifi et multimédia au Top. La terrasse, bien aménagée et sans vis à vis, est un plus et permet d'observer les nombreux oiseaux multicolores (perruches, colibris, etc.) qui habitent le parc. Supermarché à proximité. Check-in et check-out rapides et efficaces. Quant-à notre hôte, Stéphanie, elle a su nous fournir conseils et attentions au delà de nos attentes.

Gut und ruhig gelegene geräumige Villa
Ja, meine Bewertung wird eine Lobeshymne sein. Ich bin mir sicher, wo ich anfangen soll....
Buchungsvorgang - makellos.Kommunikation mit den Zuständigen vor Ort - makellos. Für jede Frage und jedes kleines Problemchen kam eine schnelle Reaktion mit der Antwort und Lösung.
Gesamtabwicklung - perfekt. Check-in und Check-out auch problemlos, an alles war gedacht. Wir nutzten bei der Abreise den late Check-out - dieser war problemlos und leicht zu organisieren.
Sauberkeit des Objekts: Es war sagen wir ortsüblich sauber :-) Hier ist der einzige Punkt, bei dem wir vier Sterne vergeben haben.
Lage des Objekts: Perfekt. Am Rand der Anlage mit einer schönen (und am Abend mit einer atemberaubender) Aussicht über den Golfplatz, sehr ruhig gelegen. Man ist in 2 Gehminuten am Pool und in 6 am Strand. Dabei muss man als Fussgänger nicht auf die Strasse ausweichen - man kann auch innerhalb der Anlage an kleinen Gehwegen zum Strand gelangen. Ich denke, über den Blue Bay Beach muss ich nicht viel schreiben... Ruhig ist es gewesen. Kein Baulärm, sauber, man fand immer einen schattigen netten Platz.
Durch die Randlage der Villa hat man auch fast gar nichts von den Nachbarn in den umliegenden Häusern mitbekommen. Generell fanden wir auch den Umgangston zwischen einander sehr gut, am Pool grüßte man sich, ab spätestens 22:00 war absolute Ruhe nur von Vogelgezwitscher und Fröschen gestört. Was man wissen muss: in ca 15 Meter Entfernung vor dem Haus Richtung Golfanlage liegt ein kleines Naturgewässer, von Kranichen und Flamingos aufgesucht. Moskito-Schutz nicht vergessen! Aber zum Glück hatten ja auch die Betten in der Villa einen Moskito-Schutz. Und so mit wären wir bei der
Villa-Ausstattung: auch hier -> perfekt. An alles gedacht. Jede Kleinigkeit berücksichtigt. Toller Kühlschrank, funktionierende Geräte, nette Beleuchtungsspiele auf der Terrasse, leise und powervolle Klimaanlagen und Ventilatoren. Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine - nichts lies uns in Stich. Beim Grill muss gesagt werden, dass es sich dabei um einen Gas-Grill handelt. Flaschen zu besorgen war etwas umständlich, aber auch bei diesem Problem half uns die Hausverwaltung.
Wir haben insgesamt unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und empfehlen sowohl die Villa, als auch den Buchungsportal fewo-direkt.de gerne sauberen Gewissens weiter.

Our 9-day stay at Villa Divi Divi was absolutely amazing. What a great location the Blue Bay Resort is. We felt even better after seeing the way the island is laid out and talking with others who stayed elsewhere. The location is literally perfect for a long stay..... right next to the grocery store, centrally located to everything, and Blue Bay itself is on our top-5 Beaches on the island list so getting the amenities for free while others pay to come here was a very understated benefit of our stay.
The villa itself is exactly as described and has everything one would need for a prolonged stay. We cooked a few meals from home and ate out the other times. Size of the unit was perfect for our family of 5 and I believe we could have been fine with a few more.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed, although a quick trip to the grocery store to stock up right away is a really good plan. Having cold water and a few cold beers awaiting us in the fridge upon arrival was a nice touch......
The property is amazing and the staff is really great. Of our 9-days, we ended up staying at the resort beach for 2 days and then even went after a few beach trip days in the evening to round out the day.
I would NOT recommend staying down close to Willemsted or Otraband or Mambo Beach with the throngs of tourists. Getting there is easy - they are only a 5-10 minute easy drive from Blue Bay Resort, which was perfect.
The resort itself is the perfect mix of relaxing resort feel with an exclusive private villa vibe.
The information provided by the Owners is really helpful upon arrival, and I recommend you reading everything, but here are our tips for beaches:
#1 - Cas Abao - Recommended by all the locals and they’re not wrong.
#2 - Klein Curasao - private, secluded beach on a deserted island.
#3 - Porto Marie - Amazing beach in a nature preserve with wild pigs wandering around.
#4 - Kenepa Grandi - Second in beauty only to Klein Curaso. Amazing views, cliff jumping and crystal blue water.
#5 - Blue Bay Resort - Our home away from home. Walk there and you’ll see why!!
Our favorite restaurants were:
- ShelterRock Paradise (Must-do on Friday night for stuffed coal-fired coconuts and authentic Curacao buffet- call ahead)
- Gouverner de Rouville (great food and beautiful view)
- Cafe La Boheme for breakfast

Heerlijke vakantievilla
Wij verbleven met ons gezin (drie pubers) in deze heerlijke vakantievilla. Locatie is top, met een minuut of 10 wandelen (tropentempo) ben je op het strand van Blue Bay (gratis toegang voor gasten). Mooi en schoon strand met voldoende schaduw en strandbedjes. Twee community Pools tref je op 3 minuten wandelen aan. Villa is van alle gemakken voorzien. Blue Bay ligt goed t.o.v. de mooie baaien (Cas Abao, Grote Knip, Kokomo beach, Porto Marie etc). In Punda ben je ook met 15 autominuutjes. Kortom, goede locatie om als uitvalsbasis te gebruiken.

Our 9-day stay at Villa Divi Divi was absolutely amazing. What a great location the Blue Bay Resort is. We felt even better after seeing the way the island is laid out and talking with others who stayed elsewhere. The location is literally perfect for a long stay..... right next to the grocery store, centrally located to everything, and Blue Bay itself is on our top-5 Beaches on the island list so getting the amenities for free while others pay to come here was a very understated benefit of our stay.
The villa itself is exactly as described and has everything one would need for a prolonged stay. We cooked a few meals from home and ate out the other times. Size of the unit was perfect for our family of 5 and I believe we could have been fine with a few more.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed, although a quick trip to the grocery store to stock up right away is a really good plan. Having cold water and a few cold beers awaiting us in the fridge upon arrival was a nice touch......
The property is amazing and the staff is really great. Of our 9-days, we ended up staying at the resort beach for 2 days and then even went after a few beach trip days in the evening to round out the day.
I would NOT recommend staying down close to Willemsted or Otraband or Mambo Beach with the throngs of tourists. Getting there is easy - they are only a 5-10 minute easy drive from Blue Bay Resort, which was perfect.
The resort itself is the perfect mix of relaxing resort feel with an exclusive private villa vibe.
The information provided by the Owners is really helpful upon arrival, and I recommend you reading everything, but here are our tips for beaches:
#1 - Cas Abao - Recommended by all the locals and they’re not wrong.
#2 - Klein Curasao - private, secluded beach on a deserted island.
#3 - Porto Marie - Amazing beach in a nature preserve with wild pigs wandering around.
#4 - Kenepa Grandi - Second in beauty only to Klein Curaso. Amazing views, cliff jumping and crystal blue water.
#5 - Blue Bay Resort - Our home away from home. Walk there and you’ll see why!!
Our favorite restaurants were:
- ShelterRock Paradise (Must-do on Friday night for stuffed coal-fired coconuts and authentic Curacao buffet- call ahead)
- Gouverner de Rouville (great food and beautiful view)
- Cafe La Boheme for breakfast

Cool place to enjoy your sunny vacation
The Blue Bay Resort itself is located on the best spot in the island. Not far from the main city, but in a calm bay with fine sand and beach.
As for the Villa Divi Divi, it is just perfect! At least for us and our needs. It is exactly as it was described on the site. Great veranda to enjoy pleasant afternoons, with wonderful view to the golf playground with the lake. We even saw flamingos one evening. The kitchenette and furniture are in a good condition. Stephanie provided everything someone need to spend and enjoy his or her time on the sunny island. The conversation between us before and during our stay, was very easy with quick, helpful and adequate answers.
All in all we couldn't ask for more for our pleasant stay in Curacao. I totally recommend Villa Divi Divi and it's charming host Stephanie!

Villa with a view
We really enjoyed our recent 2 week stay at Villa Divi Divi with our family. Right from the booking experience to our last day, the owner was very detailed, attentive and a pleasure to deal with. The villa was well appointed with all that we needed to prepare meals, lounge or dine on the wrap around verandah. Each bedroom had a separate air conditioning unit for use at night for comfortable sleeping. From the villa with a rental car we were able to enjoy several activities in beautiful Curacao. We hiked up Mount Christoffel, visited Sheta Boka, enjoyed snorkelling with turtles at Playa Grande, visited several beaches in Westpunt and a few trips to Willemstad. We really enjoyed the Visserij, a casual oceanside fresh fish restaurant. Barracuda was sold out and went back on the menu as they walked in with one that was just caught - now that's fresh! The seared tuna was amazing! The resort provided many activities as well such as restaurants, beach, snorkelling from the beach, and tennis. We also enjoyed a round of golf for an extra fee. We can recommend the Blue Bay Dive Shop which allowed us to complete the PADI open water course successfully. The instructors were pleasant and knowledgeable. A catamaran trip to Westpunt through the dive shop was a highlight! We highly recommend this villa!

I have used VRBO for over 10 years and never found a problem. Although well-equipped and appointed, two beds had sand between the sheets and there was sand from the entry way through to the main living area. In essence, bed sheets had not been cleaned. We suspect that the towels had just been folded and shelved also. Some dishes were put away dirty. (That overshadowed the rest of our experience; usually I quite willing to overlook the small things.) The internet was not set up for us (Password didn't work.), nor was the NETFLIX guest movies set in English for us even though they advertise that they accommodate the language and knew we were English-speaking. The place is nicely decorated, the equipment works, and it has games and beach equipment (snorkeling) for guests use, as well as the beach club rents other equipment, so a traveler doesn't need to bring activities for down time. The pool is nicely laid out and not busy. The managers have their phones turned off or are out of reach a majority of the working day so it took 4 or 5 calls throughout the day to reach them for information and direction, so we gave up and just did the best we could. We spent over 1/2 day getting things set up and cleaned. We spent only the first night eating out on the verandah. The bugs from the marsh below the cottage were overwhelming even after we bought two citronella candles. We would have needed at least a dozen and to spray the bushes around the verandah to use the out-of-doors. It is sad since it is nicely decorated. We spent our time indoors with doors closed and fan on when we were there. The beach is sandy up to water line. You really need water shoes to go out into the water and walk over the coral rock that hugs the shallows. Be prepared for the cruise visitors to storm the beach after 9:00 am. The place has a lot of potential for an island escape, but you need to be aware of the downfalls. We did have fun around the island with them many activities and the guest book gave us many ideas and was quite thorough.

Fantasic holiday home on great location
We had a wonderful time in this well equipped villa on a fantastic location. The house provides plenty of space both inside and outdoors. It is well equipped. Most importantly it is on a great location. A very nice gated resort centrally located on the island. The house is only a short walk to beach.
We had a bit of an issue on our arrival in the evening as we found that the key lock was empty. We called the property manager who immediately came to the house. She apologized that something went unfortunately wrong so the house was not made ready yet. She then called for a cleaning lady who arrived just 10 minutes later. While we enjoyed a few drinks and snack in the beach bar the house was cleaned. A very efficient cleaning lady, because the house was pristine when we returned about two hours later.
The next day we were pleasantly surprised by an apology note and a generous dinner voucher from the owner.
Mistakes can happen but how their are dealt with matters most. In our case it was dealt with in the best possible way, effective, efficient and with high customer service. This is how you turn a negative experience in a very positive one. Well done & thanks!!

Villa Divi Divi and host Stephanie are the best!
First I would like to say that Stephanie is a wonderful host. She responded promptly to all of my inquiries and was very accommodating with my requests. Villa Divi Divi itself is very comfortable and the location is prime. The deck area was much more private than the other villas because it faced the golf course with no other villas right next door. Such a relaxing spot for morning coffee and such great views! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The grocery store is not far and it is a quick walk to the beach at Blue Bay. We found the snorkeling from the beach there to be better than several other spots around the island that we tried. The snorkeling equipment provided at the villa came in handy. All in all it was a lovely vacation and Villa Divi Divi is a relaxing comfortable place to hang out after a day at the beach or hiking in one of the parks. I highly recommend this place! Awesome Sauce Vacation
Just spent 5 weeks at this villa. It is everything that is described in the overview and more. Very clean and comfortable. The view is great as it is right on the golf course and there are no other villas obstructing your view. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes or less. The surrounding beaches are fabulous. They are all unique in their own way. This villa is centrally located so that you can drive to the nearby supermarket or a 10 minute drive to Willemstad. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone of all ages.

Lovely villa & gorgeous grounds!!
Stephanie's villa was our PERFECT vacation home! The verandah was where we spent every morning and evening enjoying the "wildlife" (many different birds, geckos, iguanas, and wild flamingos!). There were sooo many different flowers in bloom - I loved just walking the grounds and taking pics of all the different flowers. Not sure if it's always in full bloom but the first 2 weeks of February was AMAZING! The beds are comfy, villa fully stocked. Blue Bay had great snorkeling to the left as you enter water. Tons of different fish and calm waters. To the right was a variety of coral. Beach was great with many trees and palapas for shade. Restaurants onsite were decent food for the nights we didn't want to go into town (which is an easy 10-15 minute drive). My husband walked 3 minutes to golf driving range most mornings and hit a few buckets of balls ($6 for unlimited buckets and full set of clubs!). Truly a relaxing trip!
