The staff are friendly and helpful, stopping to chat and give advice on the area. The location is great, with a 20 minute drive to the Wildlife Park, Blenheim Palace and The Motoring Museum. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, along with being able to shop for everyday items, so you won't need to worry if you forget anything. The pub itself is great, with nicely presented rooms that are regularly cleaned and fresh towels provided throughout the stay. Well priced place and welcoming, with a good selection of drinks to try.

Staff were wonderful and pub was very nice. Quiet place and I would like to come back sometime soon. Service and presentation of rooms/building was very good.
Not much can be done but somewhere to park would help other than that I don't really think there is anything else. Great place.

Rooms are extremely dated, standard of cleaning is poor, bathrooms have dirty worn carpets which is unhygienic & shower facilities were unacceptable

Staff at the bar for check-in were very friendly and helpful
Room was dirty, still had shaving hairs in the sink from previous occupant.
Bedstead was completely destroyed and ratty. Headboard wasn't even attached to the bed, it was just standing on the floor, so knocked against the wall every time you moved.
Windows had an half inch gap and didn't close properly

Staff were extremely helpful, allowing us to check-in early to work around timings for the wedding we were attending. Very much appreciated!
Limited parking - the hotel contacted us in advance to warn us that they had limited parking on site and advise of nearby free car parks but they were all a 5-minute walk away

It was in a nice location, and the pub was quaint. The bed appeared to be clean and was relatively comfortable. We were checked in by a young lady who was nice and polite, but I didn’t catch her name.
The rooms were quite unclean. Dirt and hairs on the carpets that were clearly from previous guests. There was carpet in the bathroom which is extremely unsanitary. There were stains on the toilet seat that were easily wiped by us, so clearly no effort was made to clean this. The showerhead was completely covered in limescale, and there was a lot of pink ‘mould’ around the bottom of the shower unit. The kettle was also quite badly limescaled and there was stagnant water in there from a previous stay. Dust and cobwebs everywhere.

Loved everything! Super lovely room, convenient location and Bridget was wonderful, very welcoming. 10/10 would stay again and hope we do!

the landlady was great and the location was perfect
no high level dusting been done in ages … bathroom had carpet and wooden toilet seat - never feels very hygienic
