Muy buena atención del personal. Nos hicieron buenas recomendaciones de San Cristóbal. Instalaciones prolijas y cuidadas. Espacios comunes amplios y agradables. Ubicado en una calle muy tranquila a pocos pasos de las calles principales.

La habitación era pequeña pero para instancias cortas igualmente cómoda.

Realmente el lugar es muy cómodo, la comida está 10 de 10. Está todo muy bien, la atención es muy buena y sobre todo la tecnología del hotel está muy padre. Si vale la pena quedarse, es pequeño pero muy acogedor

Het is zo'n mooi en authentiek huis. Enorm ruim. Alles erop en eraan. Bed was geweldig. Er is schoon drinkwater. De docuhe is bloedheet. Er is een zalige tuin. Het was een geweldig verblijf. De eigenaar is een geweldig aardige vent. Binnenkort gaat de posada van familie over naar een hotelorganisatie, maar sommige familieleden blijven er gelukkig wel werken. Zij verstaan hun vak!

The hotel was somewhat in a state of disrepair. Things broken, kept having to ask for basics like toilet paper, hairdryer etc.

Mario und seine Familie waren klasse! Wir fühlten uns krank und das Personal hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und auch sichergestellt, dass wir früher einchecken konnten um und hinzulegen.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein und der Backpack hatte kein Platz neben dem Bett. Ohne Schreibtisch hätte man ein bisschen mehr Platz.

We had an incredible stay in San Cristobal de las Casas! The room was not just lovely but also incredibly comfortable (water pressure was the best we had ever!). The location was spot on, making it easy to explore the area. However, what truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. Senhor Luís and Senhor António were outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Their warmth and dedication made our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to return!

Die Lobby, der Garten und der Frühstücksbereich ist sehr schön. Die Mitarbeiter und der Gastgeber wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sehr gut und das ganze Haus macht einen guten Eindruck.

Leider gibt es doch paar Sachen, die verbesserungsfähig sind. Das Frühstück ist wirklich wenig. Es gibt pro Person nur 2 kleine Scheiben Brot mit Marmelade, 2 Bissen Obst und 1 Omelette aber man darf nur 1 Ingredient dazu bestellen. Milch kostet extra, wenn du mehr haben willst, kostet das auch. Also dann bitte kein Frühstück anbieten, dann wird man nicht enttäuscht. Unter einem Frühstück verstehe ich etwas anderes. Das Zimmer war okay aber trotz kleinen Fenster extrem stickig. Leider hatten wir auch mehrere Käfer in unserem Zimmer bestimmt pro Nacht um die 5-10 Stück, hat uns aber nicht so gestört, aber sollte man da empfindlich sein, bitte darauf achten.

we liked the little apartment were we stayed whit a fireplace and a porch with a nice little garden ,very well mantain mexican style rustic hacienda, we really loved that is a walking distance to the center, the plaza and the artesanal market, everithing is on walking distance very close to the andador as well (pedentrian turistic area restaurants shop bars and nightlife)we will definitely stay there again!! and very nice staff as well thanks! ps good internet 60mega! street parking very secure and quiet area alwais available spaces.

Ocho Barrios was far better than expected! The staff was very attentive, meeting our needs above and beyond expectation. We travel to San Cristobal at least 6 times per year for holidays, and although this was our first time staying at this property we will certainly stay there for all future trips.

The only thing that would make Ocho Barrios better would be locating it closer to the square..

Antonio, who is in charge of the place, is a charming man and he will look after you. The staff really make the place. I ought to mention Mario in this dispatch who keeps the place ticking. The garden areas, with sweet smelling jasmine, tables and chairs make it a convivial area.

Although it was fairly quite and peaceful when I was there, I suspect that in the high season, when the place is full, noise, for light sleepers could be a problem. All the rooms are arranged around the reception area and two separate bits of garden.

Really loved staying at Ocho Barrios. Super friendly hosts, a quiet and relaxing retreat, very clean with good wifi, hot water and comfy bed. I really enjoyed the location in short walking distance to the centre yet far enough removed to be away from the busiest hustle. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s an property with a very beautiful setting in the courtyard and garden, the little tradition touches made out stay much better than anything we have stayed in previously. The staff/family were so friendly and helpful.

the staff is super friendly! you feel really welcome. the location is great, you need like 10 min walk to the main plaza. stores, restaurants and bars are like 2 min away.

The staff were helpful and friendly and lovely - quite perfect. The breakfasts were simple but good. Our 2 bedroom house right in the hotel complex was great for us size wise. We didnt use the kitchen. The wifi was good. Both bedrooms had a lot of blankets as the house was chilly in the evening.

Our only negative was that the house was cold and smelled a bit like mildew. We didnt see any, and it looked clean, but did have a funky smell. We think maybe it was the wood cupboards. We thought a heater would have been nice, because the fireplace wasnt in use. We needed it. The bathroom took a bit of getting used to because of the windows and cool evenings.
