Hawks Nest Forest House with a Pool
Cette maison familiale confortable est à seulement 5 minutes en voiture (15 min à pied) des plages et des magasins. Allongez-vous dans votre lit et regardez les arbres, écoutez les oiseaux et entendez les koalas la nuit. Cette maison accueillant les animaux de compagnie est proche de la rivière et adossée à une jolie forêt avec un sentier de promenade. Il a une piscine creusée et une grande terrasse surplombant la forêt. La maison est entièrement à l'étage avec des escaliers extérieurs à la véranda couverte. La cour est entièrement clôturée avec des escaliers menant à la véranda arrière. En bas est un petit appartement qui n'est pas disponible car il est laissé en permanence. Le locataire n'utilise pas la piscine ou la cour arrière. Il y a un barbecue, lave-vaisselle, Netflix et wifi.
Les chambres sont 1 lit queen, 1 lit double, 1 jeu de lits superposés pour enfants avec 1 lit simple. 7 personnes.
Stationnement hors rue et salle pour le bateau.
Linge sur demande 20 $ par personne.
Réservations du samedi au samedi préférées pendant les vacances scolaires.

Very comfortable stay!

We stayed here over Easter - I choose this house because it had good space both indoor and outdoor in case of rain.
Luckily there was no rain this year - we loved the swimming pool which was incredibly clean.
There are three outdoor areas so we had great locations for breakfast and dinner.
The house itself was perfect - very clean and with everything you need - we had friends over for lunch and the long table and air conditioning in the living room was fab.
The bedrooms were relaxing, having an en-suite to the main was lively. Everything was very clean which isn’t always the case with homes that allow animals.
The sparkling beaches (head to Bennett’s Beach, near the Golf Club if you have a dog) are around 15 min walk away as is the IGA, but parking at both was very easy also. All round a lovely spot! Highly recommended.

Good house for a family holiday. Clean and with all required facilities. Not too far from the beach and the pool is great. The beach looks a bit dangerous for swimming but there's a patrolled section. Lovely long beach for long walks.

We had a great stay here! The house is nicely furnished and kitchen comes well equipped and has all the basics (pepper, salt, olive oil, dishwashing, glad wrap, tea, coffee pods etc etc). Comfortable beds and newsly renovated bathrooms. Living room has air conditioning; all bedrooms have fans. The house has verandahs on both sides, one has a great bush outlook (really doesnt't feel like you're in town!) and the other one faces the (very quiet) street. The pool is great and clean - our kids absolutely loved it! The whole house is very well fenced for dogs. short drive or 20min walk to beach and shops. Owner is very helpful and responsive. Overall we had an amazing week!! Thanks again :)

This was a great property to stay at. We had no issues at all. It was also very clean, inside and out (including pool).
Jen was very responsive with any communication and even told us about markets happening in town that we wouldn't have otherwise known about.
When we come back to the area we will be staying here again if available.

Sadly just an overnight stay but the house and garden were perfect for our requirements. The area is beautiful and the hosts are terrific.

Its was a very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. Dogs (3). Settled in quiet nicely. And enjoy the walks and the beach. Will be booking this place in the future.

Jen is an excellent host at communication. Our stay went smoothly with super easy check in and check out. Pool is lovely for the summer. Our dog loved the big back yard, super pet-friendly home.
Just a few things including bit of dust in corners and frames, and lots of summer flies so keep your doors closed, but all very minor compared to everything else kept to great standards.

Jen was an amazing host who made sure we had everything we needed for our holiday ! The house exceeded expectations, was clean, modern, excellent location.The pool was a HUGE plus for the kids ! The backyard looked out over a beautiful forest with Frangipani trees flowering which was beautiful ! Thank you so much Jen 😘we had such a lovely holiday and we will be back next year ! Highly Recommended !

We really enjoyed our stay at Hawks Nest. The bedrooms - beds are comfortable, all have a fan with one with ensuite. Seperate toilet and a shared bath/shower. All with ample supplies ie toilet paper. The house is clean. Kitchen has everything you need. Great basic supplies - dishwashing soap, dishwasher tablets, paper towels, tea towels, rubbish bags, foil, cling wrap. The pool is great and clean. There is a washing machine/dryer downstairs. Clothes line. Aircon in the main area with a tv and so many games to play for all ages. Location is great for walks, shops and beach. It's quiet too. However we did drive to the beach. We bought our bikes up and the teenager boys rode to the shops to get their pies from the bakery. It suited our needs for a family of 4. If you had another family of 3 this could work too. Yes would love to stay again. Thank you for having us Jen.

Pool was beautiful clean and much enjoyed by the kids. Bush setting is lovely. A very comfortable house with everything you need.
Recommend getting the linen which included beach towels too!

We had a wonderful three nights stay at Forest House with our dog. The house was perfect for us. And loved after spending the morning at the beach just lounging around the pool.

The house had everything you needed for a relaxing break. It was clean and tidy. Pool was definitely a big plus! Three good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Jen is amaizing host, very responsive, such a pleasure to deal with!
Do not misjudge the place. The house maybe looks tiny,but have everything you need. Would recommend to order linen and towels - energy and headache saving for sure. The unit does have stairs, but my eldery patents found them very convenient and easy to climb.

Only issue was the AC dint work so it was little discomfort, especially because it was summer .

Perfect for our family
Bring your bikes and this place is heaven- teenagers rode to and from the beach, little one could ride to the shops and everyone loved the pool. Kitchen was great for easy meals but local restaurants were lovely too. We had a terrific time - thank you for having us and making everything soooo easy. Sign of a good holiday …. We wished we had another few days to stay here before heading home.

A great find not too far from Sydney, located in a picturesque leafy, quiet area with really good beaches closeby. Property was clean, spacious, and well presented. The private pool was ideal for our younger kids (avid swimmers) and plenty big enough for adults to do a few laps. This is a real plus of the property, as few smaller/less expensive holiday homes boast a pool at all. Usually, it's only apartments or large, expensive houses that have this feature.
The owner Jen was a pleasure to deal with, and is very responsive.

Great location within walking distance to the shops and beach. Well equipped house and well set up for dogs. The kids used the pool despite the rain with lots of pool equipment available for use. Jen was a great host and provided great communication!
