The appartement was spacious and facilities were fine.

The location, no restaurant or even grocery shopping near by. Too secluded especially when it rains.

Fantastic location great views and wildlife very good accommodation, great hosts, gave us a real boost a proper holiday.

The Lochwood Guest House Wing is home from home with excellent facilities and is in a stunning location. We particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife, including the seals and red squirrels. Also, having the opportunity to spend time at the cabin overlooking the Loch in an evening with a glass of wine was very relaxing. Lorraine and Don are excellent hosts and welcome you to their home whilst still allowing you all the privacy you require.

There was nothing to spoil our holiday at Lochwood House.

Location, lounge and kitchen fine

Small, uncomfortable bed, very small second bedroom, no hot water for 2 out of 7 nights, creaking floorboards, no en suite facilities.

Beautiful location with stunning scenery and wildlife. We had the privilege of a daily visit from a friendly robin, red squirrels and birds. We even spotted seals in the Loch. The guest wing accommodation was perfect, like home from home. Health & safety observed and property was very clean. The perfect hosts, Don and Lorraine are friendly and welcoming. Don gave several recommendations for places to visit. For Example Benmore Gardens, Puck’s Glen gorge walking, cruise boating I would highly recommend a visit to Lockwood House especially if you are looking fantastic scenery and outdoor pursuits. A truly wonderful getaway.

Lots of midges at night, so take plenty of protection.

We have been twice now and there will be more times, its magical it really is, the people are warm and friendly and extremely helpful.

The location was superb . We saw a lot of wildlife. The hosts were very attentive. The areas for sitting out by the loch were superb. It was a very quiet and peaceful.

As we were selfcatering, I would have a liked a dishwasher rather than a washing machine. The leather sofas were not very comfortable. The access to restaurants was limited so if you were staying B&B, that might be a problem.
