This was a great property for our family. Its not far from the pool or the beach and it was very clean. We also love that they offer an amenities card with the rental. We would stay there again.

Quiet island stay
This was an excellent spot for a get away. Our main destination was Charleston, but we wanted to stay away from the bustle of the city. The house was in a beautiful development which was totally beautiful from the security gate entrance to the house. The house had a beautiful sea coast motif and the furniture was really comfortable. Anything you needed was supplied from dishes, spices, games, books, bikes, even little paper cups in the bathrooms! Definitely well supplied. House was very clean. We only used downstairs, but upstairs was just as lovely, but hot. Fan was available. Have no complaints about the property. Fun sitting on enclosed porch watching the egrets capturing fish! Location provided easy access to other islands and Charleston. Would definitely recommend to others. Only negative was getting the luggage up the steps, and that is no show stopper!

513 Tarpon Pond is a lovely cottage with a spectacular view. The cottage decor is perfect and very comfortable. We had a few family members who had to work virtually and there was plenty of room for them to situate and not interfere with one another. Having been family members of property owners on Seabrook Island, we have spent every summer here for nearly 30 years. We love Seabrook and were thrilled to find a cottage so close to our former property that was able to accommodate our large family. Having the amenity cards was great, as well, as we had access to SIPOA pools and the Lake House in the past and the cards gave us the Lake House and Club pool access. Everyone we spoke with at Coastal Getaways was courteous, helpful and efficient. We had a couple of issues that were promptly addressed. This was our first time renting, we had no issues with the rental process and will definitely rent again.

We were very happy with our stay this summer. This is our 4th trip to Seabrook, and have stayed in 4 different properties. This cottage did not disappoint! Only negative is the kitchen isn't well stacked, and one of the bikes was not working. However, other than that, we had no problems!

After having lived on Kiawah Island for three years, we wanted to experience Seabrook and all it has to offer. The cottage was beautiful and well-decorated, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There were urine stains on all of the rugs in the house, especially the large one in the living room, which unfortunately cannot be rolled up. Having a pet-friendly cottage, I would expect the owners to not have large un-removable rugs, or at least have washable ones so guests could always wash them if their pet has an accident. The stains were very off-putting and malodorous. In addition, the couch is very old and does have a very strong "dog" smell, even for a dog person. The view was lovely and the weather perfect, and the house was nicely decorated, but we would choose to stay somewhere else in the future unless they remove/replace the rugs and couch.

Seabrook is wonderful
We have enjoyed Seabrook for a number of years. This property is in a great location with beautiful views. Only issue was house was not adequately cleaned prior to arrival but this was addressed by Property Manager

Because it was much bigger than what I had expected. It was so clean and had nearly every amenity that we could think of. The neighborhood is beautiful and very family and pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we may try to come back again next year!

Great vacation spot!
We’ve been to Hilton Head and Kiawah, but we hadn’t been to Seabrook Island before. Seabrook is the best of the three! 513 Tarpon Pond Road has it all and you won’t be disappointed. The views are beautiful, the house is immaculate, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully-equipped and the beaches are only a 5 minute drive. When we come back to Seabrook, we will definitely be staying at 513 Tarpon Pond.

Favorite cottage
This was our second stay at tarpon pond and we were thrilled to be back. The house has all the comforts of home and the screened porch is so perfect. The weather was warm and even in winter we sat outside and enjoyed watching all the different birds in the lagoon. We enjoyed using the bikes to ride to the beach and look forward to coming back in summer.

Great place for a family vacation!!
We had a great time creating memories with our son and his family ( 4 Grands) in this beautiful location. The house was beautiful and as advertised. All the amenities were there and a bonus was the bikes The ping pong table was enjoyed by all. The covered patio was our favorite place to spend our time. Even though the weather was chilly we were able to wrap up in blankets and enjoy the view. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of spacious sleeping space. We hope to go back!!

Family Vacation
This home was perfect for our family. It was beautifully decorated & clean. The only thing (I won’t call it a complaint because we made it work), was the small number of washcloths. We had to do laundry every day in order to have enough, but like I said, compared to how nice everything else was, it wasn’t that bad...just a suggestion. We would LOVE to visit again & hope to make this our new summer vacation destination!

Lovely cottage on Seabrook Island
We have been vacationing on Seabrook or Kiawah for 25 years. This was the best place we have rented. The screened porch was the most popular place. The view was wonderful- the pictures just don't do it justice. The porch furniture was very comfortable so we spent a lot of time there. We also ate several dinner at the table there. The cottage was also comfortably furnished inside. There were also thoughtful things like hair dryers in every bathroom, a child gate for the stairs (our grandchildren were with us for a bit), and plenty of HANGERS (unusual for a rental). The location was also excellent. It is a short bike ride to the Beach Club pool or beach or a walk to the River Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks there and plan to go back next year!!

Absolutely Perfect!
This was our first time here and we loved it. House is very warm and inviting with a coastal theme and was updated and fully stocked. There was a great screened room in the back overlooking the lake which was an added plus (especially for morning coffee). Short bike ride to the beach (which we loved) and close to all - Absolutely perfect!

Perfect Beach Cottage
The cottage was located on a quiet street with a gorgeous view from the large screened porch overlooking the golf course. We spent most of our time on the screened porch when we weren't at the beach. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of dishes, utensils and cookware which can sometimes be an issue in rentals. There were bikes located under the house which we used several times to bike the island. The property management company was super helpful and extremely hospitable. My two adult children loved this house over the one we've rented for the last several years. And have asked if we'll be returning next year.....so I'll need to get moving on that :)

Quaint and cozy cottage is the perfect getaway
With it being our first time in South Carolina, we decided to stay on Seabrook Island. This lagoon-side cottage is just a few min drive from the beach, which is what initially sold us on the location. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping options all within 15 min of he cottage. Golf, beach, and club are right down the street, and easily accessible on a bike.
But what made this lodging particularly special was the quaint and charming look of the house. The yellow walls and and tasteful nautical decor send out an atmosphere of summer and relaxation. In terms of utilities, there are 3 bedrooms (with the same charm as the main living space), 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room with TV and fireplace, and another upstairs sitting room with windows overlooking the lagoon out back.
Where we found ourselves spending the most time turned out to be back porch, that is both enclosed and fully furnished with a dining and lounging area. In the morning, it is a perfect spot for a cup of coffee and a read. In the evening, we would bring out our glasses of wine and enjoy the view until sunset.
Overall, it was the exactly what we were looking for: a comfortable space to return to after a day of exploring Seabrook and the beach. We plan on returning with friends very soon!

Great cottage with fantastic views!
We loved our week at the cottage in Seabrook Island. It was clean, spacious and really well appointed! My kids loved the loft area to hang out in away from the adults, we loved the porch overlooking the pond and golf course! Great place to relax at end of day with cocktail and a book! Ate dinner out there too several times which was great! The owners have put a lot of care into updating the cottage and it shows. We enjoyed the bikes that were left for us. Our weather didn't work out for the beach but several chairs and umbrellas were there too! I highly recommend it. We've stayed in Seabrook several times and this rental was our favorite!

With the hundreds of year old trees lining the street greeting visitors at the entrance, to the serene moment sipping morning coffee on the screened in porch, our trip was filled with peace and relaxation. This home had everything we needed to fully enjoy our vacation experience stress-free. This home is the perfect blend of charm, comfort and amenities. It was well maintained and clean, with a nice backyard overlooking the Ocean Winds Course and the bountiful wildlife that inhibits the lagoon.
While most of our trip was filled with golf rounds at Seabrook Island's two BEAUTIFUL golf courses, we did get to the wide, unspoiled beach a couple of days while fishing and saw dolphins, crabs, sand dollars, and gorgeous sunsets.
Riding the bikes around the island in the cool morning breeze or on the beach was the perfect way to start the day. The beach is about a 4-5 minute drive, depending on which access you choose. You can also ride the bikes and park them in a bike rack at most access points.
We truly had a wonderful, wonderful time. The owners are accessible, accommodating and eager to make each guest's trip a great experience!

My husband and I spent a long weekend in this warm, cozy, Cottage and wished we could have stayed longer. The decor is lovely, the couches very comfy and the views from the screen porch, amazing. My favorite passtime was sitting in the screen porch watching the wildlife in the pond at the end if the yard. The sunsets from the beach are a sight to see and if you want a snack you can ride down to Freshfields, a smart shopping area or Bohicket Marina, both just outside the Seabrook gates. We loved this place and will be back.

Wonderful Place
My husband and I spent a long weekend in this warm, cozy, Cottage and wished we could have stayed longer. The decor is lovely, the couches very comfy and the views from the screen porch, amazing. My favorite passtime was sitting in the screen porch watching the wildlife in the pond at the end if the yard. The sunsets from the beach are a sight to see and if you want a snack you can ride down to Freshfields, a smart shopping area or Bohicket Marina, both just outside the Seabrook gates. We loved this place and will be back.
