Perfect location, stunning views, property manager was super helpful and responsive. Golf cart was a plus. Resort is packed with fun amenities.

The front door is a little tricky. Found out later. Didn't know where the lock box was. But love the place and tge view

My husband and I spent 3 nights in this lovely, comfortable condo. Very clean, quiet, spectacular views of the water from the patio, comfortable bed. Hosts and manager were responsive to all our queries. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and especially the golf cart, though it has seen better days. A few minor nits: no soap in the bathroom and the tub drained slowly. But overall, I highly recommend staying in Hamilton Cove and this condo.

Our stay was a memorable one. The condo had a breathtaking view that greeted us every morning. While the property showed some signs of aging it was evident that it had been well-maintained and cleaned thoroughly. Despite any minor imperfections, the condo was comfortable and provided a cozy retreat after a day of island adventures. One of the highlights of the stay was the inclusion of a golf cart with the property. This made getting around the island convenient and added an extra layer of fun to the trip. Overall, our stay at this property was fantastic, the combination of the stunning views, the charm of the island, made for a memorable vacation.

We had the most lovely stay! The bed, sheets, and pillows in this unit were so comfortable we were able to relax so deeply after a week long work conference in Long Beach. The kitchen and bbq grill had everything you need to cook beautiful meals and, having access to the golf cart to tool around on the island was amazing. (Definitely hike Hermit Gulch to Lone Tree Trail to the top of the island for sunset.) We even did our laundry before packing up to leave which makes getting home so much easier. I saw a review or two about the unit being dated but they kind of all are in Hamilton Cove. We ran into a lady one year in the ferry line who owns multiple units in Hamilton Cove and she explained that getting materials ferried over is super cost prohibitive but worse, the HOA won’t so much as let owners change out the glitchy door locks. They make renovations pretty difficult as they see it as preserving the look. We thought this unit was totally comfortable and standard or above for Hamilton Cove. Totally recommend!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for our two year anniversary and Valentine’s Day. Check in was easy, just unlock the box and you have your keys. The condo was very nice. A little on the older side of things but overall was very nice. Refrigerator has no water or water filter but has a freezer with ice. Condo comes with a golf cart which was very fun to have. Did not have to refill the cart more than once. The TVS did give us a hassle at first but was able to watch everything perfectly fine. Perfect balcony view. Pool and spa were good and clean. Condo comes with tennis rackets and golf clubs. Only thing is tennis courts do not supply tennis balls and we didn’t see any in the room. In the room there is plenty of kitchen ware, entertainment things such as DVDs for the DVD player, card games, and extra useful items. Overall, perfect for just me and my boyfriend. Again a little outdated items but everything worked as intended. Will definitely stay here again for the privacy away from the island and all the things included with the room.

Having a golf cart was hands down the greatest bonus ever! The community of hamilton cove have tennis courts, putting course, heated pool, jacuzzi, great pebble beach for snorkeling and playground for kids. The unit itself seems like there is always a maintenance issue of some sort but overall didn’t affect our enjoyment of our stay. I would highly recommend.

Perfect location and layout for a surreal vacation.

It was a beautiful view with friendly service. It was very accommodating to have the use of the golf cart. Although it may need maintenance in between visits as it had a flat tire and seems a little squirrelly going down hill. Overall definitely worth the money!

The accommodation's were exceptional with breath taking views, very romantic place if your enjoying a beautiful sunset from the balcony or listening the the ocean waves with the french doors open from the master bedroom or the family room. Fun to drive around the Island in the golf cart. The pool is heated, great tennis courts and lovely lush landscape. Close to everything! I would highly recommend this place for your next getaway. Nice private community with a gated entrance. Quiet but still kid friendly. The Hide-a-bed sofa was broken but they had an air mattress that worked just fine for the kids. Great view from the semi-private balcony. Golf cart worked great. No cell service but Wi-Fi was great to make calls or send text.

We had a fantastic time at La Casa Sirena! The property was so beautiful, with an AMAZING view. We just loved hanging out on the balcony overlooking the beach below. The golf cart was a great amenity, allowing us to get to and from Avalon so easily. Chela was also very helpful upon arrival. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Shari and Brad

This property was perfect for our family of three! The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was big and comfy, there was a pull out couch for our son, a patio, a washer & dryer, and a golf cart! The gated community was very clean and quiet! The sofa bed was a little hard to me but my 10 year old son didn't complain once. Though there were a lot of stairs, they weren't an issue at all for us. I'd just recommend you make sure you grab everything you need before you head back up to the parking lot! The only thing on our wishlist missing was sunshine and warmer temps! I'd highly recommend this property! You'd have a tough time finding a place like this that includes a golf cart! A major bonus that you definitely need to consider!

The condo is in a great location. Safe, gated community with great amenities. Loved the basketball courts, fitness center, & pool. Beautiful views out the balcony. Only downside in condo was the uncomfortable bed. I can sleep anywhere and sleep well but tossed and turned as the bed is very hard. We have our names for check in at front gate but the manager did not give them or the gate did not write them down so had to fill out some papers and provide proof of stay. Then once got to the door we had lockbox code for keys but did not know where the lockbox was located. We had to call and text a few times before we got ahold of property manager to find out where located.

Best view in town.

We were notified two days before trip that rain damage to Hamilton condo necessitated a move to another place in town. Bahia Vista was adequate, but not as nice as Hamilton Cove and we had no golf cart. No golf carts are available for 3 day use, only for $60 per hour, so we had to take bus and walk, but being in town was okay. It just wasn't quite the trip we anticipated. One sunny day though!

We had stopped in Avalon on a cruise once and decided that some day we would return. This was the day! Really glad we stayed! We were comfortable. It was quiet. Bed was so comfy (we actually took a nap one rainy day🤫). We had a golf cart to explore which was absolutely perfect! Transport to and from was easy. Genuinely nice people every where!

When visiting Catalina, I have a deep nostalgia for Hamilton cove as my family had owned a unit in building one for nearly twenty years. I wanted to share childhood memories with my partner over Valentine’s Day weekend and we had a lovely time. The stay in Hamilton Cove was icing on the cake. However, when entering the condo we noticed that the ceiling appears to have severe water damage. Enough water damage to be covered in black mold and missing paint/drooping drywall, directly over the living room. For a two night stay totaling over 1k with service & cleaning fees this is completely unacceptable and a health hazard. I highly suggest the owners fix this asap before allowing guests to stay at their location and to be completely honest in their listing.

PROS: In the private gated community of Hamilton Cove 2 miles outside of Avalon, the unit is situated about 2/3 up the hill alongside many other condos with identical layouts and gorgeous balcony views of the bay. It was well equipped, has comfortable furniture and pleasing decor. The golf cart, also older, head headlights, a cover and great to have for getting around. Clubs, rackets and beach towels were provided. (We were not able to use any of the putting greens, courts, volleyball or pool due to heavy rains and the hot tub was under repair.) CONs: The cabinets, appliances and fixtures are old, the fans rattle and the lights are dim for winter use. Kitchen--appliances, though useable, were rusted and in need of maintenance/replacement. Ant traps were everywhere. We made sure we left no food out and saw no ants. Bathroom--shower drain, handle and faucet were also corroded with the latter leaking heavily. The towel rack was broken, pieces in the cabinet. The pocket doors through the closet from the bedroom to the bathroom automatically lock and are very difficult to open, requiring depressing a shallow quarter inch plastic button. Washer/Dryer-- in an outside closet by the front door and was unusable due to rain. OUR EXPERIENCE: (It should be noted we paid twice the regular rate for 3 nights over New Years.) On our 2nd night insanely loud alarms went off. It was impossible to remain indoors. We had no idea what was going on and, terrified, ran out in our pajamas with our valuables in a downpour. After several calls & texts we were able to speak with Chela who let us know that the alarms were fire & flood warning but not to worry as they go off frequently. She said she'd call security to get them to turn off the alarms. After 20 minutes of hell and terror, it ended and we went back into the unit. The ceiling and floors were cracked, water was leaking from the ceiling and the rug was soaked. We begged Chela to come by to see but ultimately agreed to talk in the morning so she didn't have to brave the rains and wind. We mopped up the water, left out several containers to catch the leaks, took photos and sent them to her so she could submit them to the HOA for claims, and cleaned up the mess. The next day, Chela offered to move us to another unit for our last night's stay but we ultimately decided moving would be too much of a hassle with all our luggage. We were offered a refund from Chela but the owners haven't responded to our emails.

The villa is well appointed and has incredible views! I loved waking up to the sunrise over the ocean. We cannot wait to come back!

We both really enjoyed staying at this location location. The view is awesome. Everything inside was great.. I liked that there was a landlord a clan line. My cell phone connection seemed to improve as time went by. Wish the bathroom had brighter lighting. Loved the pool and putting golf course. Also 57 steps down to room. 57 steps up to street. Whoo!

This was our first trip to Catalina, we enjoyed it very much. We will be back again. The view was great from this unit. The golf cart could be updated but we were happy to have it.
