Great location, some home problems
4 of us stayed several days in this small but comfortable A-frame. Sizewise, we do not feel that more than 4 people would be that comfortable. The open living area is great though small and the front deck is also small.
There are some nice bath amenities and there is a hiking trail nearby.
Though we enjoyed out stay there, we encountered several problems that need to be addressed. The slider door in the main living area needs a screen for better air flow. Similarly there needs to be a screen on the downstairs bedroom. There were many times that the lights in different rooms did not work, though the main circuit breakers appeared to be operational. For those who cook, there are no nonstick fry pans. More wine glasses are needed. Additional towels are recommended. The bunk bed bedroom door does not latch. Lastly, for people like me who cannot tolerate quilts, a light blanket would be great.

Great location
I’ve always wanted to stay in one of these cabins and finally got a chance memorial day weekend. It did not disappoint. Great location comfortable beds and plenty of room for a family of four. Super easy check-in and checkout process.

An effortless ski trip !!!!
We had the best Mammoth ski trip ever staying in Chalet 7. Besides being hugely convenient with the ski-in, ski-out access, the chalet itself was clean and cute and comfortable. We loved the wood burning fireplace! (Plenty of wood included!). There were only 4 of us and our dog and it felt roomy - I think 8 people would be very tight. Everything about this trip felt effortless. Which is saying something when it comes to ski trips. Upon the recommendation of the Chalet staff, we even had our rental skis delivered directly to us using Black Tie Ski Rental (they picked up too!). The entire trip exceeded expectations and definitely worth the splurge! We are going to copy-paste for next year if we are lucky enough to book the Chalet before somebody else does!

The chalet is not very big but cozy! The kitchen has everything you need to cook, the bathroom has makeup removers for ladies. The host respond quickly to messages.

Great location, clean
We booked this place for an extended weekend getaway. It was perfect. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The location is just a short walk to the main lodge, lifts and kids activities. Shelley was very prompt responding to any questions we had. We had a great time!

Wonderful Family Stay
My wife and I took our four children for a quick four day stay at the Chalets. Amazing location and very cozy accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay and we’re on the mountain before anyone. Great location. Thank you, James

We had a great time at the Chalets!! Lots of hiking and exploring. The cabin itself was perfect! Great location nestled in the woods, awesome fireplace, plenty of room for 4 adults, a kid and 2 dogs. Only complaint about the cabin is the TV was broken from the start. Other than that, the cabin is perfect.
Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to a mandatory evacuation from the creek fire.

We had 2 couples and 3 kids, slept very comfortably(we didn't have to use sofa bed) Chalet is Right next to gondola and close drive to popular rainbow falls/devils postpile. Propane Bbq grill came in handy for steak dinner after a full day of swimming. All in all exactly what we were looking for. See you next time cozy chalet!

Awesome!
Epic location, unit is cozy with some really nice features, and we received thorough and quick responses for all inquiries. Kelli / property mgmt team are just awesome! Our kids got to ride in the snow cat, and Kelli called us the next day to confirm they went...I mean, how great is that! I love the extra customer service aspect offered at Mammoth Mountain Chalets. They have the program dialed. We have stayed all over Mammoth, and this by far, was the best experience! We will be back again!!

Can't wait to rent again!
Everything about my stay at the chalets was great! To start things off Kelli the chalet manager is amazing! She always picked up the phone, had time and answered my numerous questions, and made my dad and nephew who are not so mountain savvy feel at home and comfortable for half the day before we arrived. The chalet was very clean, orderly, very comfortable and had all the extras like wifi-bbq-sleds-wood for the fireplace-etc. The whole experience was perfect, we will definitly be back!

LOVE THIS CHALET!
I love visiting Mammoth but I LOVE staying at this Chalet even more! I have actually stayed here multiple times. The Chalet is at the base of the Ski Mountain! We literally walk to the Gondola from the front door. It doesn't matter if it's skiing in winter or mountain biking in summer, this is the place to be! It's right up the road from Red's Meadow too! I love hiking down there and visiting Devil's Post Pile & Rainbow Falls. I hate the hassle of driving all around when I'm on vacation so it's awesome that there is a free shuttle that takes me into town if I decide to leave the hill. The Chalet itself if great! All the comforts and amenities of home. They have 3 bedrooms including a King, Queen and a double plus twin bunk bed with a trundle AND a fold out couch. We all have a comfortable place to sleep. The kitchen is nice and open so I'm still hanging with everyone while cooking on the upscale pots and pans. There is a beautiful fireplace, large deck and lots of books and games. The managers are super nice and can help you with just about anything!!! I visit this cabin a few times a year at least! If you need a nice rental, look no further! This is the place to hang!

Trip to mammoth
We really had fun, thanks to our little après-ski nest in the chalet. It was comfortable, easy access to the slopes and not too far from downtown. We had everything we needed in the chalet and people at the reception were very nice. After it snowed, the road and paths were clear by the staff to ease access to the guests.
Again, thank you very much for this fun week-end.

Great location and wonderful caretakers
We stayed at chalet number 7 for three nights during the ski season. Great little chalet with a nice fireplace (with supplied fire wood), well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds for all 7 of us (we didn't use the two additional sofa beds). Lots of puzzles and other toys for kids to play with as well! Wifi was okay, with occasional slow-downs during the evenings when everyone was using it. There was enough snow to easily ski back (awesome), but unfortunately due to the bad winter season, not enough to ski out. We had to take the short walk to the main lodge to get to the slopes, about 100 yards, so no big deal.
Romie, one of the caretakers, gave us a warm welcome and made it possible to check in a bit early and leave a bit late which worked out great for us. She was very helpful and we will surely be coming back next season to rent again!

Location, location, location!
We spent a wonderful week at this cabin right next to the slopes. Everything was in order, very clean and cute. There were three couples, and the seating in the living room was a bit tight. It would be nice to have a loveseat instead of a chair, or a slightly bigger couch. A long bench outside on the porch would be nice to take off your boots too. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. We will definitely be back next year.

Chalet has a magnificent "Mining Cabin" theme that makes it very cool and unique.
Love the fact that there's true "ski in / ski out" convenience. View directly to the top of Mammoth is outstanding. All the amenities are current and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
