This was our second Christmas stay and it was wonderful. Great amenities, close to the park, friendly town. Wonderful owners. You won’t be disappointed!

Our family stayed 3 nights for a relaxing get away. My oldest daughter and her husband came from Omaha (with their 3.5 and 2 yr old kids). We traveled from eastern Iowa along with our 17 and 22 year old kids). There was room for all of us! The view off the deck was a outstanding! Nice outdoor space in the backyard with a stone fire pit, chairs and a picnic table. Large yard (approx 2-3 acres). House is located at the end of a dead end street in a quiet neighborhood.The property is adjacent to a park which includes a disc golf course, pond with a walking path all the way around, and a very nice updated playground area for kids. My son and son-in-law were able to catch quite a few fish off the docks at the pond (playground and pond located down the hill less than 5 minute walk from the house). Kitchen is well equipped with utensils and cookware. We prepared most of our meals at the house, other than ordering pizza one night. (Pizza from Town and Country Store was pretty good for gas station pizza 😉). Overall a great place to relax and spend time with family!

Felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay, House and neighborhood was perfect and peaceful with very nice views.

This could not have been better for our family gathering, morning coffee on the patio, walks around the pond, and evening thunderstorm watching from the deck. Kitchen is well equipped for BBQ, baking, and chopping. Host Julie is a wonderful person who takes care of her guests.

This place is in a amazing location. Between the weather and our busy weekend we did not get to enjoy the walk paths or the beautiful wrap around deck as much as we would’ve liked to.. The house worked out perfect for our family as we were in town for our son’s wedding.. Thank you, Susan Hoyt

A great roomy and comfortable place to stay! Has a fantastic view facing northwest from the outdoor deck! Dunlap is lucky to have this available for travelers or visiting family.

Beautiful home! Perfect location for our family to “meet in the middle” to celebrate Christmas. Lee and Julie decorated for Christmas, which made it all the more welcome and cozy. They are very gracious hosts! The home is right next to a park, which we enjoyed. Saw lots of wildlife. Took advantage of the board games sporting goods to use at the park. Kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need. Can’t wait to go back!

A great getaway. This house is located in a small town in a very private location. The pictures do not do the house justice. Its very nice! The owners are extremely polite and responsive.

We used this air bnd as a quick getaway for a group of friends. It was absolutely amazing! The view was spectacular! The house was very well kept up, super clean, and fully furnished. We will for sure be coming back and recommending this place to others.

We rented this house to stay in for a nieces wedding in town. We all LOVED the house! A different niece rented the apartment above the garage ( a separate unit) and has rented it again. Would totally stay here again.

I had my "hen party" here with all my bridesmaids before the wedding. This house is a great location for a large group. We spent every day in the dining and living area, and had a blast. The view is gorgeous, and if it had rained less I'm sure we would have been out there quite a bit as well. Field trips to Nelson Park and the local Dairy Sweet added to the weekend also. Thank you for a fantastic experience! 10/10 would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at the house for our family get- together. There are other houses around but it definitely have a country feel to it. Saw beautiful sunsets. A good place to unwind.

Very great experience overall. I do with it was clear that the adjoins garage space may also have tenants. It would also be nice to have a few family friendly games available just so not having to bring all of that ourselves. List of things to do or see locally would be great too.

Our stay in Dunlap perfectly met our needs. The house was spacious and clean with lovely views especially at sunset. We loved the open concept main living space and the fact that there were plenty of bedrooms for our group of 9. Our kids enjoyed the large backyard and the park that is adjacent to the property. We also enjoyed walking into town on several occasions to visit the park and play Gaga ball as well as to stop in and get ice cream at Dairy Sweet. Julie was very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was a quiet getaway for my family to relax and enjoy time together without a busy schedule.

My boys (4 boys from 9-19) and I were visiting Omaha for the College World Series and zoo, but we decided to stay outside Omaha to save some $$$. We sacrificed some drive time as Dunlap is an hour from Omaha, but this home was perfect for us. Tons of space, everything we could have needed an amazing wraparound deck for morning coffee with some amazing views. The home is on a dead end up high on a hill and near a lake and a 9-hole disc golf course, which we loved playing. Julie was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. To me, high speed internet and coffee is important, and this home had both. The internet “blipped” out a couple times on us but always returned. We would not hesitate to stay at Julie’s place again. Thank you.

What a great place for family and friends to stay if in the area. Beautiful views and close access to a walking path around a lake and near the golf course and park. Julie and her Husband are great hosts!
