Was not aware that the right side of the house was unavailable. Not being able to turn on/off the lights in the media room was a bit of a hassle. But the toughest part was not having running water to flush toilets or shower from 8PM until about Midnight - due to well water? Totally unexpected.

Superb home! Has it all and more. Can’t wait to come back.

Awesome host, beautiful property!

The experience was absolute paradise. The property out in hilly woods covered with tall pine trees all covered in snow was phenomenal! The house on the inside was gorgeous and spacious with Christmas decorations and antique vintage furniture in every room! My sons cried when we had to leave. They are still taking off this experience! The host was hospitable and friendly and even had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us upon arrival.

The house was very comfortable and we had an amazing time there. Close to everything and very homey.

This place is unbelievable! The photos paint a picture however one must visit it to truly soak in the overall aesthetic. The decoration inside and out is the execution of years of deliberate design. To say this house is a fantasy come true is completely accurate. I visited this home in January with a group of friends and we had an excellent time enjoying the house and surrounding property. The primary appeal of this house is that there are so many different spaces to enjoy. This allows groups plenty of room to congregate as a whole or split into more private environs and company if desired. Our favorite space was the game room both for its design, lofted warmth and the terrific video game cabinet housing dozens of classic arcade games. We spent most of our time in the kitchen. It is laid out with plenty of space to prepare and cook in addition to having a space for non-kitchen-participants to chat and relax. Another favorite zone of relaxation is the living room's Ben Franklin stove which is surrounded by luxurious couches and armchairs. If you are looking have a gathering of friends or families I highly, highly recommend giving this fantasy house a try.

We had an amazing time at Bear Mt Lodge! We wanted to spend the last weekend of Christmas break with friends and their families. We were expecting some snow showers, but we actually got 5 inches of snow during our stay. The kids got a chance to play in the snow and they loved the games that were included with this resort (card games, pool table, ping pong, darts, arcade, foosball). JC was very courteous and accommodating to us, and even had someone on site who was available to help us. We created some unforgettable memories during our stay, and would highly recommend this resort for families!
