The view

Everything! Felt like a glorified motel at over $700 a night. We were in town for destination wedding and looking forward to getaway at this upscale, adults only hotel. After our stay it is clear this hotel is 3 star at most. It was overpriced, room not laid out well (stayed in Corner King Studio), smallest bathroom ever (husband and I couldn’t even fit in bathroom together at same time) especially compared to room size. Glass shower partition not properly attached to tub so water went everywhere with every shower. Overall poor amenities for “5 star” resort - no bar, no restaurant, no room service, no lobby area. TV connection didn’t work because of WiFi connection at hotel. Both times I used bathroom by front check in area there was no toilet paper and bathroom wasn’t clean. And the worst was listening to a barking dog in another guest’s room for over 2 hours early Sunday am. Hotel manager notified and aware of noise but she didn’t take action to quiet the dog (hotel claims to have explicit rule that dogs can’t be left in room without owner and this dog was left alone for over 2 hrs in early am) . I would not return to Aqua even if room was free. It was not a pleasant stay or 5 star hotel experience.

I like the amenities like the hot tub and sofa beds outside as well as the picnic basket breakfast. The complimentary glass of wine was also really nice!

I understand it's a dog friendly hotel but I personally don't have any pets and there was a particular smell all throughout the hotel including a really bad smell in the igloo due to the carpeting everywhere.

I love the vibe. The staff was very nice.

What I didn’t like about it is that there was a big flood outside. The shower on how room was leaking and there was a puddle every time on the floor. And you could tell there was a lot of water damage in our hotel room in the bathroom and in other spots of the room.

Beach, room.

The property was beautifully situated right by the beach and very close to the wineries. Each detail was carefully thought-of and offers a very relaxing vibe. The rooms were immaculate! They also offered us complimentary rose and half an hour late check-out. The staff are all wonderful and always checked-in if we needed anything. I can’t wait to go back!

Nothing, everything was perfect but maybe a bar/restaurant that’s open late would be a nice addition.

The location on the lake is fantastic, the jacuzzi is a really big plus.

For the price you pay it’s annoying that they charge extra on amenities such as Sauna, paddle boards.

Relaxing and beautiful hotel, plenty of areas to lounge and beach access. Loved that they offered activities such as bike riding, kayaking, massages etc. Rooms were spacious and clean. Nice breakfast basket in the morning.
