L'avantage de la vie à la campagne! Si vous avez envie d'intimité et de calme dans un cadre champêtre spécial, cette maison est pour vous! Charmante maison de 2 cac 2 salles de bain avec bureau, véranda et terrasse sur 10 acres isolée. Les bois, les pâturages et les champs de maïs sont vos voisins sans structures construites en vue. Profitez de votre café du matin sur le porche grillagé, donnant sur les jardins fleuris et la clôture en rail fendu, ou lisez sur le pont du deuxième étage de la suite de la chambre principale. Détendez-vous dans la chambre d'hôtes au premier étage avec baignoire en marbre avant de descendre la longue allée d'accès bordée de bois pour une balade l'après-midi au village de North Hero, à 6,4 km. Nagez et faites du bateau dans le parc d'État de Knight Point, à un kilomètre et demi, ou utilisez votre propre kayak à la rampe publique en face du parc.

Lovely and relaxing
We can't say enough about this special place. You feel a million miles away, in a good way. Hard to leave in the mornings, but the drives on the islands and time in Burlington were worth it. Coming back to Knights Cove in the evenings capped perfect fall days in Vermont.

great getaway
The property and ground were incredible. Extremely private with great views. The North Hero general store just up the road was a surprisingly awesome store with great donuts and coffee.

Can’t wait to come back...
From the moment we walked in the front door, we knew this was going to be one of the great ones. Every time we turned a corner or entered a new space we kept saying, “Oh, how lovely!” Spacious, tastefully decorated (including lovely landscape paintings by the owner), airy... this was perfect. We felt so at home and were never at a loss for anything. We were after peace and quiet and this place was exactly what we needed. The owner was fantastic, and always available to answer any small questions and offer advice and help. Great beds, large and well appointed kitchen, and the garden and screened in porch were just gorgeous. We spent two weeks here and absolutely hated to leave. Can’t wait to go back next year. Thank you, Toni, for the most excellent holiday destination!

Tranquil and Beautiful
Quiet, tranquil and beautiful, yet due to its central location, only minutes away from everything on the islands. Extremely responsive and thoughtful property owner. Very comfortable house. Wonderful screened porch for reading, sitting, or just watching nature. Very pretty setting with only trees, birds, flowers, a bit of the cove, and farm fields within sight. We found nothing lacking. We loved cycling from the house to points all over the islands. Wonderful beach minutes away at Alburgh Dunes. Fun, inexpensive lakeside bar/pub a five-minute car ride away. We cannot wait to return to this property!

Slice of heaven
This was our second year staying at this great home with excellent accommodations. Screened porch with view of the lake for breakfast accompanied by birdsong. We were there on an extremely hot long weekend and the breeze from the lake was a relief. This is a charming, well cared for property with unique bedroom suite upstairs and roof deck.
The host is very communicative and a pleasure to work with. Perfect for two couples, as we learned last year. We returned this year by ourselves, again for the Farm to Fork Fondo on the Champlain Islands. The location is great for trips to Burlington, into the mountains or even to Montreal.

Relaxing setting and cozy house
I've vacationed in the Burlington area for the past 7 summers and this house in the perfect peaceful yet accessible location. The interior is clean, comfortable and has well equipped kitchen. We loved the screened in veranda overlooking the fields and lake. There is terrific biking all around - my favorite was the Isle La Motte 12 mile loop (recommended by Toni in the detailed welcome packet on the kitchen table). Toni is very easy to reach if needed, and I can't wait to return to her house on North Hero!

Relaxing oasis
Very relaxing, quiet setting. Beautiful floral garden and the home is filled with unique antiques. The screen porch provides a bug-free environment to enjoy the view of the animals that visit each night for the evening snack in the field behind the house and for viewing the fireworks. It was also nice to have the bicycles at our disposal during our stay. Location is perfect for travel to either So. Hero, Burlington, or to our northern neighbors, Canada. Toni provided excellent information for points of interest to visit. Highly recommended and plan to stay again next year!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely, quiet country house. It would be a great place to write a book, with your only distraction the songbirds in the garden. It has all the comforts of home at a reasonable price. Great communication from the owner too. Thank you again! We hope to return someday.

Lovely home, exceptional host.
This private, beautiful home immediately felt like no other HomeAway I've rented. From the warm decor to the leather living room seating, you'll feel you've been dropped into a comprehensively and tastefully appointed home.
Toni, our host, was a gem - attentive, responsive and eager to share her deep knowledge of the area. Her recommendations for day trips to nearby Canada added a cultural and culinary dimention to our visit we would not have had otherwise.

Lovely comfortable and privately located home
Everything in the house was beyond our expectations. The view, the porch, the supplied kitchen. The location is very unique, but close to all conveniences. We are already planning to go back next summer.

Private and quiet in a natural, lovely setting.
This home was nestled in the woods looking out at the lake a short distance away. The house had a lot of charm and included all the basics. It was filled with many interesting and lovely "treasures and antiques" (though some items could be "retired".) Beaches, boating, restaurants, and golf were all nearby. We enjoyed them all and were then so happy to come back to this quiet, pretty spot to relax.

The views over the marsh to the lake were so beautiful and peaceful, like the island. The accommodations were lovely, comfortable and comprehensive. We completely enjoyed our stay, will definitely return and would highly recommend this property. Well done.

Great location for enjoying the Champlain Islands
Two couples enjoyed the screened porch, comfortable seating in the living room and functional kitchen for the weekend. We came to cycle and this was a great location! Our host was very accommodating and always responded promptly.

Quiet location near Lake Champlain surrounded by natural beauty. Nicely furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath house with a screened porch looking out towards Lake Champlain. Great getaway for a relaxing, quiet vacation, close to two State Parks. Bring your passport if you want to visit Canada. Visit Burlington for great restaurants, craft beer, shopping and a scenic walk along the banks of Lake Champlain.

Our stay was great. The house was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. We loved eating out on the porch and just sitting out there and enjoying the view. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home!
What a beautiful setting and perfect stepping off point for fall sightseeing! The house was well equiped and extremely comfortable for two couples; quiet and very private. Great to come home to after a days adventure. Toni suggested an outing we would never have thought of. We took the advice and were richly rewarded. All in all, our stay exceeded our expectations.

The house itself was very charming and had everything we needed.
