Galveston Home with a View
Ce deux chambres, deux salles de bains maison de plage a été rénové en 2011, trois ans après l'ouragan Ike a frappé la côte à Galveston. La maison est parfaite pour une petite famille, les animaux de compagnie avec une grande enveloppe autour du pont. Situé à Palm Beach, un mile de marche ou de route de l'île de Galveston State Park, et 7 miles à Walmart, Moody Gardens et Schlitterbahn.
Prenez le coucher du soleil promenades sur la plage privée et propre où les véhicules ne sont pas autorisés. Une immense terrasse est disponible pour profiter de la brise de l'océan, faire un barbecue avec des amis et la famille ou tout simplement profiter d'une vue sur l'océan plein. We had a great long weekend at the beach and loved staying at this house! It was close to everything we did and was about a 30 second walk to the beach. Everything was great and the hosts were very trusting which I like! We will definitely be back!

This is one of the hidden gems of the island! Steps from the beach, the views were even better than the listing shows, and the house was a very good layout. The owners were fabulous on communication. We will be back!!

This property is absolutely perfect! The owners did a great job communicating when I noticed a small problem, the house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable! We will definitely be back!!! 1 warning is the mosquitoes are absolutely horrible when you are on the ground so bring spray.

I stayed here with my husband, 2 kids and mother in law over the 4th of July. The pictures don’t do the house justice! It’s clean, bright, very functional and in an outstanding location for a family trip on the beach. It’s a bit of a drive to the more touristy part of Galveston, with Moody Gardens, Seawall, pleasure pier, etc but it was perfect for what we wanted, which was a quiet, safe area close to the beach. The deck is incredible, breezy, and comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to questions leading up to the trip. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our family has traveled to Galveston numerous times. A must have for this trip was to have an amazing view of the Gulf with easy access to the beach. This place met this and much more!
STEPS from the beach. Amazing views. Comfortable and cozy home. All we needed to getaway and spend downtime with our family. This is perfect for families as you can go back and forth to the beach without ALL the hassle! And no crowded beach!

Let me start by saying, the views are AMAZING! The deck is huge and was enjoyed so much while drinking our morning coffee. The house needs some work/updating and a deep clean. There is only one closet in the whole house and it isn’t the master, which was a little odd. It worked for just the 2 of us though. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and the stunning views from the deck.

We had a great time at this property. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, takes 45 seconds to get on the sand. The deck is huge with wonderful beach view. The house was clean and well maintained, we had everything we needed. The area with trundle bed was great, it serves as extra room for kids. The communication with the owner was extremely easy. We hope to be back again!

We had a nice time and especially appreciated the beach views and super close proximity to the beach. There were a number of issues however: the key code provided was incorrect and we had to call for the right number. The “bunk room” did not have three twin beds as advertised— only one twin with a trundle and was not even a proper room as it had no door. The light in that “room” would not turn on without also turning on the fan at high speed. The microwave started sparking when we turned it on, creating a fire hazard. The main front burner of the stove did not work, and there was no toaster oven despite the check out instructions saying to unplug the toaster oven. While the house was clean, it smelled somewhat of pesticide throughout.
We had a good time at the beach despite all of these unexpected findings.

I’ve written about this property several times so I’ll make this one brief. The proximity to the water, the cleanliness and home like feel of the property and the the host’s hospitality always make this trip a must to begin our fall. This is our 4th year staying at Palm Beach and we always come away with smiles on our faces and slight sunburns. Highly recommend for families with little kids as proximity to the beach makes for an easy walk and a quick trip back to the house for diaper blow outs or to grab a quick snack. We plan to make next year, year number five here!

The house was great with wonderful views of the beach. Very close to the ocean and it took us about 45 seconds to get to the sand. The house is suited for a small family. Washer and Dryer are located in the hallway and you definitely need to run the laundry during the day as it will be too loud at night. TV & internet service was great. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay very much. Communication with the owner was easy and fast. No problems. We plan on coming back.

Great location and a beautiful deck with nice view. You are just one house away from the beach, but still have a view! For families, there is no bathtub and the bunk beds aren't in a room - so your kids may wake early. Owners are very responsive.

This is our third time staying at Matthew and Tanya’s beach house. We continue to come back because the property is clean, the location is amazing, and home is wonderful. The house is 100 yards from the water, the views are spectacular and it accommodates our family of 5 with no problem. The owners are continually updating the property (new couch, new fridge, new king bed and new paint job on the exterior) and the home is warm and inviting. We love staying here! Clean, close and cozy
This was our second time renting this home and we just adore everything about it. The hosts are wonderful, the proximity is perfect, it’s quiet; we will continue to come back as long as the owners list it. There’s five of us now, two adults, one child, one toddler and a baby. It is safe and the check in and check out process is a breeze.

We have stayed at this property several times and always have a wonderful time. We were excited to see the improvements the owners have made to the property and enjoyed our time there immensely. Relaxed Weekend
This little home was just what we needed. Nestled between two other beachfront properties, this house may not have had an unobstructed view,, but was perfectly placed to walk out every morning and night for a stroll.
Check in process was super easy, great communication, and adjustments. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is our third time staying as a family at the property and it has consistently been clean, comfortable, and with such easy access to the beach! The owners are very fast to answer any questions we have, so we always feel confident it will be an enjoyable trip.

This time, we took our three babies with us for an end of summer vacay and they had the best time. They loved the house as much as we did and as always, the communication with the owner was excellent. We will be back, again.

Even though the AC went out in the middle of our stay, and we had to find another place, I'm still giving this place 5 stars. The owners were very easy to get in touch with, and when they couldn't find anybody to look at the AC because it was a Sunday, they drove over themselves to try to fix it. When we realized it wasn't going to work out, Tanya found us a couple other options that were available, she gave us a refund for the nights we lost, and she made sure VRBO gave us a partial lodging tax refund. I never even thought about that! You can be sure that if anything goes wrong during your stay, the owners will go above and beyond to make it right. If we get to come back to Galveston, we will be booking this place again!

Great Girls Trip
We had a great time at the house. The house was accommodating and clean. The girls couldn't get the hot water to work in the showers but I did so it was probably user error on their part. The toilet in the big bathroom runs, so you may want to have that checked as a running toilet can be expensive. A little jiggle of the handle fixes it but other renters may not be as coherent to that fact. The key box is hard to open especially with nails. We managed tho. There is a lot of beach equipment downstairs which is really nice. The beds were comfy and the house stayed cool. The location of the house is a little off putting but the closeness to the water makes up for it. The deck was AMAZING! I love the fact that they have TVs in every room. I will definetly rent again!
