House is as advertised. Amazing communication and friendliness of the host. Had enough supplies provided for our three day weekend. Amazing spot on the lake and nice little area to fish or swim. We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood.

This is a property for those that appreciate the simple things in life. This property is not fancy. Instead it is old and well maintained. We LOVED sitting on the deck each day!! The view of the lake and the access to it is incredible!! The hosts were very accommodating. They were a text message away and were in the same neighborhood so it made it easy for us to use their kayaks.

My friend and I had such a great time at this lake house. We spent every morning writing/working on the back porch while watching all sorts of birds, turtles, bunnies, people, and even the neighborhood dogs enjoy the lake and the lakeside. A nice breeze kept us cool and kept the bugs away. We also spread out our yoga mats and enjoyed some meditative yoga sessions. We spent every evening watching the sunset across the lake.
The hosts were very responsive and friendly. They also let us borrow their kayaks and life jackets for our little adventure paddling around, across the lake, and back.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe. It’s a short drive to some delicious restaurants.
NOTE: It is a lake house, so bring your insect repellant. Plenty of mosquitos and biting midges/no-see-ums.

We had a great time. Every morning we sat on the patio looking at the lake it's just beautiful!. Jerry was a great host and very accommodating and the maintenance man Jaime came in minutes bringing propane for the bbq when it ran out. We will definitely be back!

This little place is AMAZING, walk out back door to a view of the lake, the sunsets are amazing. Just a well-kept house, owns are just great!! Very safe area as well a quiet.

Me, my husband, kid, and 3 dogs stayed here and really enjoyed it. We fished every morning, enjoyed our coffee on their nice covered patio and then relaxed inside in the AC. The home is so cozy and plenty of space for us. Mr & Mrs Fuller we’re so nice and accommodating with our requests. They provided a list of things to do near by and what restaurants to visit. The house is kept really clean and smelled fresh. They offered water toy rentals too! We took walks around the neighborhood every night and everyone is friendly and seems to know everyone! We felt very safe and will certainly come back to visit!

Amazing relaxing weekend getaway
We booked this trip for a long weekend to be able to get away and just relax. This place did not disappoint and we are now convinced that we want to buy a lake house upon retirement.
The location on the lake is incredible!! The home is super cute and had everything we needed.
During our stay we enjoyed grilling on the back porch while watching the ducks and rabbits in the yard. The sunsets over the lake are truly breathtaking! We visited the Little Elm swim area and had a great time. It’s a short drive for a great day at the beach.
The owners are very nice and gave us lots of local info.
We would highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

Amazing change of Work-From-Home Scenery + MOST EPIC SUNSETS!
I rented this property for me and my dog for just under two weeks in December and it was exactly as described!
I was looking for a place to "work from home" that would also feel like a getaway and get me in the vacation mindset - and it did just that. As noted, it's not a luxurious, modern rental but it's comfortable, warm, accommodating and very welcoming! I have an extremely stressful, intense, high-pressure job that leaves me depleted, tired and unable to relax after I've shut down for the day but Mimosa Lane provided the cure for all of that. At the end of the work day, I'd turn on music (bring your bluetooth speaker), sit on the back patio couch with a drink and a snack and just watch the sunset. I have not been so content and/or at peace in who knows how long as I was at this rental -- even after a long. stressful work day. It was truly a gift that I am so appreciative for!
The sunsets are UNREAL and worth it alone. The listing mentions Spring and Summer sunsets but I saw some of the best sunsets I've ever seen and it was December - so as long as there is sun, you are bound to get good sunsets!
Because of the time of year and because I was working, I didn't get to enjoy any water activities but just being near the water was worth it to me. Again, so beyond relaxing! And Jerry provided me with tons of recreational water activity info in case I changed my mind.
Jerry was very helpful and informative. He was the right balance of hands on but also hands off - he was there to help when I needed it but without hovering, thus giving me the space to feel like this was my home and fully relax.
One other random thing I really appreciated - location allows for LOTS of delivery options on Grubhub!
Overall, if my employer gives me the opportunity to work across the country remotely again, I'd definitely book this property a second time.

Beautiful and Serene Setting
The property is a sweet cottage by the lake. The ducks on the yard and lakeshore are fun to watch. If you're looking for a tranquil spot, this is great. If you're looking to in the lake, you might want a different location.
Two bedrooms had comfortable beds, pillows, and bedding. Lots of storage around the unit. The couch was super comfy.
No TV in the bedroom.
The unit was clean with the exception of moldy coffee grounds still in the the coffee maker filter upon arrival and bathroom plunger and toilet brushes both in need of replacement and more thoughtful storage out of sight. 😝
We were told we had free access to the two story dock on the water, which appeared lovely from a distance, but up close was covered in duck doo and completely unappealing for that reason.
The lake shore and bottom at the unit are mud. We did not see anyone enter the water by us during our two week stay, but we did find a lovely public beach with wonderful sandy shore and bottom and so wen there for lake access.
Owner checked in with us after arrival. When we ran out of drinking water, owner told us three time he would bring it, but followed up three times by saying he'd forgotten. 😘
When there was bad weather during our stay, the owner texted to offer access to their basement in case of a tornado warning. We appreciated that. 🙂

The bed is small but relatively comfortable. I prefer softer pillows but slept great overall. The kitchen has everything needed I always judge a good vacation rental by the kitchen supply quality, and this was top notch! As good as home!

The View!
I loved staying in the community of this rustic apartment. Hiking trails, the outdoors, and the great view of the lake. This was a great thanksgiving vacation. We loved our stay!

Beautiful View
The property isn’t in the grandest of neighborhoods, but for the lake life experience it can be great. The surrounding area is a good part of town. Kroger is the big grocery chain in the area. They have Kroger and Starbucks about 5minutes away. I would say the ‘bank area’ nearest to the house is shallow enough to use for kayaking and jet skiing. I don’t personally recommend it for fishing as it is shallow in certain areas- which you don’t know about until well into your fishing time.
The home was well stocked with everything you may need. The coffee pot is not a single pod use coffee maker. There is lots of dishes, wine glasses, glassware, silverware, and pots/pans. We did grill and use the fire pit. There was wood on site. The laundry works well. The dryer does require smaller loads. The water pressure and hot water temperature are both good. My suggestion, bring your own bed-pillows. The pullout sleeping situation is decent and there were sheets, 3 small pillows, and 3 blankets. The AC units worked fine. We only had 2 running and had no problems with the cooling of the house.
The TV - uses Roku. We have subscriptions to streaming television services, but could not use them as they require Roku’s Password. The movies were older, but free. There were no local channels- weather, sports, and news you will have to use your phone or laptop. Lastly the WiFi can only tolerate one major pull on it at a time. So if you have a family which streams, works, etc... all at once you will only have one with the full use of their device. On the other hand, it’s a good way to tell the kids to get out of the house.
We didn’t have negative interactions with the owners. The exchange prior to us arriving was informative. He did stop by the day we arrived. We enjoyed our stay. Would do it again.

Perfect spot for a couple or family of 4! The owner was very accommodating and hospitable. The house has a large bar area for board or card games! The lake is beautiful and right out the back door! Would definitely recommend this place!

Thoroughly enjoyed the friendly and accommodating owners, the gorgeous sunsets, the beautiful new deck patio, the newly redone bathroom, the comfy bed, the big screen TV and the post-sunset fire pit. It's tucked away so you forget how close to the city you are, but grocery stores and restaurants are just down the street.

A little piece of heaven
This was a little piece of heaven. Peaceful, quiet, very clean, no traffic and I felt safe. It's in the country but just around the corner from shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Jerry and Jeri are a delight and more than accommodating and were always accessible during my stay. I'm a single female and would highly recommend this to anybody. I will be back.

Incredible location right on the lake...
Nice lakeside cabin that is perfect for a getaway. Either a couple or small family could enjoy all the amenities and activities that the location has to offer, while at the same time very close to the city. The owners live nearby and are very accommodating.
Beautiful sunsets are right out the back door overlooking the lake. I highly recommend this location and would refer it to my closest friends. Thank you for the hospitality and great stay.

Summer vacation
I would not recommend this rental! This rental says it sleeps 4 however when we arrived all there was for our 2 daughters to sleep on was one couch that was not a fold out and a 3/4 inch mattress topper for the floor. There wasn't a fold out couch at all. What is pictured on the site is not what the house is furnished with. The bugs were terrible in the house due to the front door not being sealed properly. The house is equipped with window air units that worked well but were loud. There were no curtains on the back side of the house facing the lake so there was no privacy on the lake side of the house at all. Overall we were very disappointed in this rental. We never saw the owner while there so these issues were not addressed with them. The positive was that the house did have a beautiful view of the lake.

Nice lake cottage!
Had a nice 2 week stay while our home was being remodeled in FT Worth, close to everything the area has to offer, yet a secluded, quiet and rustic little lake cottage. Lots of walking trails, great sunsets and fishing! Would recommend for a great lake escape.

Clean and Quaint
Four ladies for the weekend. Plenty of space even with just 1 bath. Beautiful view. We enjoyed the fire pit area. While there is a washer and dryer, I would suggest bringing towels. We never found potholders or dishtowels so maybe bring those if cooking. Loved the dbl oven! Everything is close by, shopping, dining etc...but still has a lake house country feel. The owners are great and live next door. Would stay here again.

Very pleased
My husband and I spent our anniversary here and couldn't have picked a more cozy, relaxing place! The pictures were spot on. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The boat ramp is a little ways from the cove, and the low water levels made it quite an adventure, but not impossible:) We had a wonderful time and would definately go back!
