Situé sur l'extrémité nord du centre-ville de Stillwater avec une belle vue sur la rivière, la rue principale HideAway est nichée sur un grand terrain entouré d'arbres et de fleuves de rivières. Un duplex historique restauré, les deux unités disposent de 2 chambres privées et d'une salle de bain simple. Chaque unité est parfaite pour 1 ou 2 couples.
Selon la disponibilité, si les deux unités sont disponibles, notre maison peut accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes.
Nous avons subi une restauration et une rénovation complètes - les salles de bains sont nouvelles avec de la pierre et du granit. Les cuisines disposent d'appareils en acier inoxydable haut de gamme et de comptoirs en granit. Les sols originaux, les portes et la menuiserie sont raffinés. Chaque unité dispose d'une laveuse et d'une sécheuse.
La cour est adorable et nous avons des tables en plein air et un barbecue.
Assurez-vous d'apporter vos vélos! Nous sommes situés directement à travers la rue à partir du marqueur de 0 mile pour le sentier Brown's Creek. Si vous n'êtes pas sur ce parcours, vous êtes régalé! Il serpente à travers les bois et les falaises, traversant le ruisseau dans plusieurs endroits.
Notre jardin porte également sur un ensemble de l'infame "Laurel Street Steps" - une marche vers le haut de ces étapes vous emmène directement dans Pioneer Park, où les photos sont incroyables.

Beautiful Property in Ideal Location!
The Main Street Hideaway is exactly as stated -- a great little hideaway in Stillwater! It's situated on a hill with great views of the St. Croix River. I was in the upper unit (unit 2) with great views and 2 small balconies. It's within walking distance to down-town, the Stillwater Lift Bridge, and walking paths. I regularly used the walking paths and crossed the Lift Bridge into Wisc. -- there and back is 3.2 miles/5K. The unit itself has ample room -- 2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom, a small work space, and did I mention 2 balconies! :) I really enjoyed my stay. Montey and Terri couldn't have been nicer. Main Street Hideaway was better than I expected!

Fantastic!
We were so pleased with the property! It was VERY clean, the furnishings were all in excellent shape, the linens were all of high quality and so fresh, and the space was perfect for our group of 5 ladies. The location was a comfortable walk from all the excitement of Main Street. Terri and Monty were wonderful to work with, very informative and patient when I made a mistake on my booking. We will most definitely stay again in the future.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway in Stillwater.
The house was very warm and cozy.
We had everything we needed. Great location. We could walk to restaurants and shopping which was a plus. Beds were super comfy too.

Great location!
Had an awesome 'end of the Fall' weekend in this awesome rental. Was just at the end of the downtown area to conveniently walk to all the sites and sounds of Stillwater... and if course shopping!
So enjoyed the cozy interior as well as the morning coffee and afternoon wine on the porch.
We were so grateful this was available for our 32nd anniversary. We shall return!

Outstanding stay
First time to MN for my family and it couldn’t have gone better. The house was charming, great views and location. We also enjoyed the tour of the museum next door and were blown away by the beauty of Pioneer Park up the steps from the house. Great property and owners.

Stunning view and a cozy, updated home.
This home has everything you could ever wish for. With large (and super clean) windows to look out of, there is a spectacular view of the river in an awesome location.
The homeowners (Terri and Monty) are very nice and responded to our ever need immediately. The home is gorgeous and updated with beautiful appliances, fixtures, and is also stocked very well with anything you could possibly need. The 2 queen beds were very comfortable as well.
Outside there was a spacious patio area with a very nice grill. There was plenty of seating with a comfortable table to sit around.
I would recommend this rental for a girls weekend for sure! The town has so much to offer for shopping, eating, entertainment, boating, and the ever popular trolley rides!

Great couples get away spot
This place was great for our couples get away. We had two couples in low 40’s in the upper apartment and loved the place. You are a 2 min walk from everything in DT Stillwater. Monty was very helpful and we will definitely be back.

This property was absolutely beautiful! We felt like we were staying in a model home! Not only was the home gorgeous, but the location couldn’t have been better! You are downtown Stillwater and within walking distance of everything! The home owners were very easy to get a hold of and very personable! Can’t wait for our next stay!!

More Than a 5 Star
The whole experience was perfect. The hosts replied to my request to rent in less than 10 minutes. One of them met us at the home to insure we knew where everything was and to instruct us on the lock. The remodeled unit was astonishing. Their attention to detail in the remodel was wonderful. The unit has so much character. We especially enjoyed the living room area to gather in. We ate 2 meals at the property and for 3 of us there was plenty of room to sit at the kitchen island. We also played cards at the island. We asked about tv stations and the host said they only have basic cable but there are a ton of tv stations. We were happy to watch the Gopher football game on FS1. The property has a great view of the river and a wonderful sunrise. It also has a lot of sun in the afternoon to enjoy the outdoors. I took a walk up the outside staircase to a wonderful park at the top of the bluff. It was a workout but fun to try. You are so close to many shops downtown that you can walk most places. The Co-op grocery store is very close if you want to cook in the unit on the huge gas stove. This was our first VRBO. It would be nice if they were all this wonderful. We are planning our trip, back to Stillwater, for next year.

Perfect Stillwater Location
We had a fabulous weekend with both of the duplex sides rented for a girls weekend. The house was very clean and we loved the deck with views of the river. Being located right off the main street was perfect for our activities in town, no driving necessary. Would definitely recommend!

Main Street Hideaway in Stillwater
Monty and Terri were wonderful to work with, even with a Vrbo novice like me. They were easy to get ahold of and always responded quickly. The place was beautiful, immaculately clean, wonderfully remodeled, and the location was perfect. Totally within walking distance to everything yet quiet and private in the evenings, with a great view of the marina and St. Croix river. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY!
Perfect home for our family getaway-Lots of space for all of us to be together both inside the home and out, updated, clean and well maintained. Fireworks were spectacular and very close to the bike trail!! Within walking distance of everything we needed and the owners made it easy to check in and out. Highly recommend booking if your looking for a home in this area, you will not be disappointed!! Thanks Monty and Terri for letting us stay!!

Great house in perfect location
We thoroughly enjoyed the entire stay! The house is a blend of original (beautiful woodwork) and modern features (kitchen & bath). The location was great- just off the commercial and retail part of Main Street, so it was very quiet and peaceful but still close enough to walk everywhere.

Girl’s Weekend #5
We stayed for our 5th annual girl’s weekend. This is our third VRBO experience and it was great! Everything was a listed. Monty met us for check in and walked us through everything in a few minutes. We were then ready to settle in to this beautifully remodeled home. It is a quick walk to the center of downtown. We enjoyed a sun filled morning on the porch/patio. I think our only draw back was one frying pan for breakfast, but we made it work! Will definitely recommend to others!

We were in Stillwater for a wedding. We were a party of three (two adults, one teenager) from out of state. The house is very well cared for, the beds were comfortable, and overall layout was spacious. There is a porch to sit out on and see the river, as well as the downtown traffic. The location is just at the north end of the downtown area, so we were able to walk to restaurants, a co-op to buy groceries, and to the wedding and reception locations. We had a fantastic experience including quick communication with the hosts. We would recommend for anyone with our party size!

This house was perfect for our girl's weekend getaway during the "Epic April Blizzard" Despite all the snow, we were welcomed by the owner and a warm, beautifully updated, well-equipped house. The views were fabulous when the snow wasn't blowing and perfectly located for a stroll down main street. Would highly recommend this house. Hoping we can come again when the weather is more like spring but we had a wonderful stay anyway despite the weather.

We were supplied with an extra bed. There were six of us and we were totally comfortable. The house is beautiful, warm and clean. Couldn’t have been closer to Main Street. We walked everywhere. This was the perfect girls’ weekend. Highly recommend!

We loved staying here. The kitchen is fabulous. Beds were very comfortable. The place is clean, organized and anything you might need is there. So many great places in walking distance. Climbing the outdoor stairs was great exercise. We would stay there again and again!
