Very nice cabin. Beds were comfy. We rented a pontoon boat and docked it overnight for 2 nights. Great stay!

The house was cozy and clean, the dock was amazing, spent hours down there fishing and swimming. It was relaxing and time well spent with family. We encountered no problems, things went smoothly from beginning to end. A good time had by all!!

We had a great trip and excellent time on the lake. The walk to the dock was easy, and the dock itself is roomy enough for an evening swimming. The screened porch was great, and the home was well furnished and fit 5 of us plus our dogs well.

Everything was great! House was amazingly clean and stocked! Loved that they had a vaccuum so I could touch up during the week!!! Rooms were spacious and private. A/C was great and loved that there were fans in all the rooms. The screened in porch was amazing for the morning coffee and afternoon cocktails! The lot is shaded and kept it cool. Dock was amazing! Easy to use the lake ladder. Dock very spacious. Water is great. Deep, so good for rafting and canoeing. My son enjoyed the canoe and fished off it. The inlet is nice, not so much water traffic, and everyone friendly. Saw lots of deer, geese, hawks. Neighborhood is quiet which was exactly what I wanted! Neighbors very friendly! Don't worry, about 23 minutes away there is walmart, dollar tree, shops, restaurants, and placed to buy food, including an Ingles supermarket. Totally recommend this lake house. Commmunication and response was great with the owner.

House was very clean with a comfortable floor plan. I thought house was nicer than photos. We didn’t take advantage of all the amenities because of the time of year but they were available and nice. Location on the water was secluded but not isolated. Not far to the town of Hartwell and shopping. Absolutely no complaints. A grand time was had by all. Would definitely rent again. We saw Bucky or his kinfolk!

The house is unpretentious and comfortable. Beautiful wooded lot on Lake Hartwell. The is much wildlife and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

We had a fun time w/our dogs on the dock and swimming. One day we rented a boat for the day to explore the lake! Saw Bucky the young deer plus other deer hang around the house. I think they liked us! Lol
The last evening we spent time on the dock watching wildlife arrive to the waters edge for a drink. We watched 2 spotted twin fawns for an hour across the water on the other side of the lake, a heron plus turtles enjoy their time while the sun set..

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. A couple of items that were concerning: the mast bathtub was very slow to drain and the spigot is ready to fall off! Would you be interested in selling?

Pros: —Clean. —Nice open floor plan. —Large screened porch. —2 sets of bunk beds. —extremely nice, new dock. —walk to dock had gentle slope. —ample parking. Cons: —none of the bathrooms have locks of any kind on the doors. —the outside badly needs attention—-there are fallen limbs, weeds, etc. all over the property. —we were unable to unlock the two person kayak that is advertised. The padlock appears to be rusted shut.

This lake-side property is the perfect place to unplug and recharge. The home is well-stocked with essential items and extras. The mattresses are very comfortable and the screened porch allows for a priceless view of the lake . The location is convenient to Hartwell and Anderson, which filled our quest for shop-therapy. And, Buddy, the neighborhood, friendly deer, strolled up for some attention, which was one of the many highlights of the stay. We highly recommend the home and Stephanie is an excellent host.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfect for a quick trip to Hartwell. The dock is amazing and can't wait to visit again in warmer months.
The cottage is perfect for a large family or two couples traveling with kids. The bedrooms at opposite ends of the house with the bunkbeds in the middle is great for privacy. We loved the screened in porch, large kitchen area and comfy living space. We even met the neighborhood pet deer, Bucky, on our first night. The kids were excited to see him. We'll definitely be back.

Great place. So quiet and peaceful. Loved the view of the lake from the large screen porch. The house is so spacious. Great place to walk the dogs. I can't say enough about this place so just book it, you will love it.

It's a nice home with a nice floating/covered dock. It's fairly close, by water, to Hartwell Marina. We enjoyed our stay, both times.

Great stay!
Wonderful and peaceful lake stay! We are already discussing returning next year. Loved the wooded lot and the house was perfect for our family. You may want to consider getting a new mattress for the queen bedroom. Other than that, it couldn’t have been better. It makes us want to move to the lake!

Wonderful experience
This is a perfect little cabin for a getaway. The host could not be more accommodating, and helped us with different things throughout our trip. We definitely stay here again and recommend staying here to any new travelers.

Lake life
The cabin was wonderful and met all of our needs with friends and our dogs. The property was perfect with dock access on the lake and convenient to downtown Hartwell. We had a great time and would happily rent again. Hosts were very informative and helpful.

Exceptional as always!
We always enjoy staying here for the week. Home has all the amenities and comfort to make a very relaxing stay. Friendly neighbors and a quiet neighborhood make this a lot of fun for our family! We love the new boathouse, plenty of room to sit by the lake to take it all in! Thanks as always for an enjoyable trip!

Serene retreat
My family loved our stay and were lamenting having only booked for 2 nights. The proximity and views of the water are outstanding, and the home itself very comfortable and well-equipped. We loved the different spaces to relax in - the living room with views right to the water; the open deck; the spacious screened-in porch; and of course right on the dock! We hope to return during the summer when we can hop right in. As described in the listing, the cove is quiet and we'd feel comfortable with our girls swimming there. Very nice stay - even the neighbors were friendly! Highly recommend. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us! :)

Woodsy cabin
The place is exactly as it’s pictured, however I found it to have way more charm than what I saw in the little pics on my I-phone when booking. The setting was nice & quiet, the walkways and sightlines were clean & clear. The dock is spacious for sitting by the water, the kitchen is well equipped for light cooking, the charcoal grill/smoker is well seasoned, the antiques were interesting, sofa is great for napping, king mattress VERY comfy… the old hand nailed pine planks on the giant screen porch floor had character and the primitive art pieces made it a very cool place to be for me. FYI, The Ingles in Hartwell is very well stocked, read the notes the owner will send you and you should have everything you need. It has cable, wi-fi, Amazon fire TV etc but for us It was perfect to unplug and enjoy some quiet time, talk & read. If you go, enjoy it for what it is!

Comfy and homey!
We only stayed for two nights, but were very comfortable in this home. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but "town" is close by and very quaint. The lake view from the back porch is lovely and serene...a great quiet time spot!
We had some internet issues on our first night, but those cleared up the next day.
Beds were comfy, as long as you like firm. Sofas have seen a lot of behinds, so we were most comfortable after rearranging the cushions a bit.
We found some minor cleanliness issues that were quick to resolve.
The layout is really nice and allows individual privacy for the two main bedrooms.
The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Exactly what we expected and would definitely recommend!
We had a wonderful weekend staying with friends at this lake house. It was exactly as pictured and easy to drop right in and start enjoying out time together. We made good use of the fire pit our first night and the dock for morning coffee. We are city people and this cabin is remote. There are quite a few turns on the route and the roads are dard:) Maybe do all your driving during daylight hours! But, even with that, we are so glad to have made the effort, as it was a wonderful weekend!

Everything was great and clean.
When I did arrive on Thursday evening, the slider closest to kitchen was wide open. Didn't see any issues, was thinking maybe the cleaner?

The camp in the woods.
What a nice place to stay. Directly on a quiet cove located only a minute or two boat ride out to the main lake. The rustic cottage was very comfortable with porches that invited you to spend a great amount of time - when you weren't boating and playing on the lake. A great place to spend relaxing time!

Relaxing time at the lake!
My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing 4 nights at this wonderful property. Love the new dock! We swam and floated on our floats for hours. The house is clean & comfy & had everything we needed. We’ll be back!

Quite and relaxing
We absolutely loved the house. Packed with all essentials, clean and spacious for two families. The lake was amazing and even on a rainy day it was nice to hang out by and do fishing from the dock. Highly recommended.

All that we were looking for and more!
Two adults and two teens had a wonderful few days at this property over spring break. Plenty for kids to do with kayaks (provided), fishing, firepit, woods and more. Adults loved the awesome screen porch to get a little work done in the morning with coffee and wine time in the evening. Also appreciated the back deck off the master for some "adult time" in the evening. Brought our pooch who had a wonderful time so thank you for having a resonable pet fee so the whole family could come. This place is updated, cozy and a lot of fun. We went out to dinner both nights and found great places to eat about 20 minutes away. We will be back for sure. Owner was very responsive to questions.
