My son and I were down for a family wedding. We have several family members that live in the area.
It was nice to get away from the hustle, bustle and come and relax and watch the fairies in the boats. Wish we had more time to enjoy the beach and have a fire, but duty called on this wedding, which was a lot.
I would recommend this place and I’m looking forward to coming back.

This cottage is in the perfect location right on the waterfront. It was so peaceful and relaxing sitting out on the deck watching the ferry boats and the occasional Navy ship cruse by. On two different occasions, we were blessed to see a bald eagle perch right next door. The interior of the cabin was incredibly clean and very well organized. It was stocked with everything you could ever need. I loved the notebook that outlined the expectations and everything to do in the area. The bed was super comfortable. I look forward to returning again.

Everything you need is here for a peaceful and relaxing time away from it all. The cottage is nicely appointed and comfortable; the kitchen has everything you need.
Sitting inside or out, you can enjoy the occasional ferry making its way to Seattle or just watch mountains as the day goes by.
The cottage is centrally located to many outdoor activities, so if the season is right, you will find a notebook full of suggestions of places to go and things to do. Would come back in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

The superlative Sinclair Beach Cottage is absolute perfection. It could not be more charming, spotless or serene. The grounds are beautiful as is the view of the Olympics and right on the water. The owner could not have been more accommodating. I have stayed in many VRBO properties and this is the very best, superlative across the board. I will definitely return for another stay.

We had a wonderful time at Sinclair Beach Cottage. It is one of the most beautiful relaxing locations I have stayed at. We enjoyed our days and evenings by the ocean, looking at the mountains, sea otters and ferries. It is a relaxing get away but close enough to go to a Mariners game in the evening, thanks to the ferries. Linda is a great host making sure that we had everything we needed. It is the perfect cottage on the water. We had a wonderful week!

My husband and I spent a long relaxing weekend at this lovely waterfront cottage. Since I love to cook, we brought all of our food with us, and I couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations for cooking. I found a plethora of appliances, dishes, baking supplies, pots & pans and a surprising assortment of pantry items and spices.
The house is old, and not luxurious, but we found it cozy and comfortable as we watched the rain and the ferries with the expansive waterfront view from both the living area and the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. The VRBO description and photos are very accurate and represent the place well.
The weather was cold, and the living room furnace was noisy at times, but we didn’t find it bothersome. Two portable space heaters are provided, and we occasionally moved them to other areas of the house.
We enjoyed our time, and since we live less than 30 minutes away, we look forward to coming back again.

This was an amazing find ~ lovely beachside cottage in quiet neighborhood. This home had everything we needed for our 3 night stay and Linda was a great host. Wouldn't change a thing, and hope to be back in the future!

Property could use some minor maintenance. More secure lock on dining room double doors, microwave buttons need to be repaired/replaced. Owner very helpful in assisting me with arranging early unexpected departure.

We had a great time. Excellent location, and layout. Very accurate description. Quiet. Lots of supplies in the kitchen...this is always appreciated. Gets a lot of sun in the afternoon. Fabulous views.

Great find. Met expectations based on description and reviews. Beautiful views from living room and from bed! Relaxing. Enjoyed the Saturday Port Orchard farmers market. Took ferries to Seattle one weekday and spent a long day there . . Super easy ( I over worried). Had no problem with parking at the all-day lot by the ferry, but beware the lot is used for farmer’s market on Saturdays. The driveway to the beach cottage is easy to miss. It is before the obvious one next door, so approach slowly..

Port Orchard Beach House
Overall impression was one of cleanliness and a sense that everything was well stocked. House instructions were clear and concise. The view of Sinclair Inlet and the Olympics on the opposite side were outstanding. The ferries coming and going were delightful. The ferry trips to and from Bremerton to Seattle were one of the prime reasons we booked this house. Entering the bathtub was....challenging, but doable. Loads of super books, and even one by Debbie Macomber, who lives in Port Orchard! We would definitely return!

A Fantastic Birthday Celebration Stay!
I wanted to surprise my husband for his 75th Birthday with a get-away stay somewhere on the water. I found this lovely cottage on VRBO and fell in love with it! I booked it right away and let Linda, the owner, know right away it was a surprise and she was happy to make sure our stay would stay a surprise. We loved this place and felt instantly at home. It is decorated with beachy items, the kitchen it stocked with everything you would need and more, and it is just the perfect spot to be in for sight-seeing, restaurants, and anything else you like to do. Whiskey Gulch is down the road-excellent food and service, and we went into Bremerton for dinner at La Fermata, an incredible Italian bistro.
My husband is a Master Gardener so he appreciated the yard and how well it has been maintained.
A Note for anyone who has mobility issues - I recently had hip replacement surgery and could not get into the clawfoot tub in the bathroom as it is quite high. We were staying two nights so it was not an issue but something to think about.
We loved our stay here and will book it again in warmer times so we can be outside more and enjoy that incredible view and use the beach. Thank you, Linda, for being so responsive too!

So peaceful…
This beach front cottage was the perfect place for us to rest and rejuvenate while reading a book or working on a jig saw puzzle on a chilly winter day. We enjoyed watching the bald eagles as they sat on a post eating their latest catch. The snow covered Olympic mountains provided the perfect backdrop for the ferry boats passing by. This place captures captures the beauty the essence of the Puget Sound region.

Such a tidy and sweet cottage right on the water. Our host has so many thoughtful details to make your stay enjoyable! Games and books and yard games and even a blanket for outdoor seating while the silence across the water calms you.

Amazing little cottage
Amazing little cottage with great views of the sound and Olympic mountains. Very spacious and well stocked. Has lots of games to play and room to hang out in. Kitchen had everything you needed and Linda was very nice. Highly recommend for a couple looking for a quiet retreat!

Charming and cozy waterside cottage!
This quiet and charming cottage was just as advertised!! We arrived after dark and were touched to have a darling illuminated blue nautical-themed Christmas tree in the living room!! What a lovely greeting!!
There was plenty of room for the two of us and to have our daughter and fiance over for dinner and a Seattle Seahawks game! The owner, Linda, has thought of everything and the cottage is well equipped for all eventualities!! Even though it was damp and chilly during most of our stay the cottage was very comfortable. When we cooked there was plenty of cookware, spices and space!
There is a charming old downtown of Old Orchard close by and ample shopping for groceries and incidentals. Linda has made everything so comfortable and easy! We can't wait to return!!

Great View
It was lovely to sit in the living room looking at the water. We saw a bald eagle and a submarine. Searching for glass pieces on the beach was fun. It was nice to be away from the hustle of Seattle but we could easily get there on the ferry which was a gorgeous ride.

Perfect spot to relax and watch life cruise on by on the sound.
We loved this place!!! In spite of crazy record breaking heat in the area, we we spent our time attending a wedding and visiting the unbelievable beauty of the National Parks!! When we came back to the cottage to relax the quiet peaceful location was perfect!! The cottage is well stocked with the misc extra things you need to fix a meal if you like. The grounds are very pretty. And most importantly non this trip was the great AC unit in the bedroom!!!! We could not have survived the crazy 100+ temps without it. Linda was a gracious host, and answered all our questions quickly. We would love to stay again if we are back in the area!!!❤️

Charming cottage!
Our stay at Sinclair Cottage was wonderful! The cottage is comfortable, well appointed, and clearly well loved by its owner, Linda Culley. We enjoyed the serenity, the views, and watching sunset sitting by the fire pit. It’s a nice contrast to Seattle. We recommend Bay Street Bistro for a meal or wine tasting and hiking in Olympic National Park. Thanks for the memories.
