Le Viking est situé au 23A, rue Water à Historic Crow Head sur l'île Twillingate. 1 chambre à coucher avec cuisine complète, salle de séjour et une salle de bain 3 pièces et surtout une vue imprenable sur la baie Notre Dame et son littoral accidenté. Si vous aimez la peinture, la photographie, la randonnée, les balades tranquilles le long de la plage ou tout simplement assis et regardant par le puissant Atlantique Nord alors vous ne partirez pas déçu. Une vue de Salmon Rocher ne vous permet de laisser sans vous montrer son côté majestueux. De cristaux dansant sur l'océan qui brille avec la possibilité de repérer un iceberg ou une baleine à un coucher de soleil qui vous coupera le souffle et vous séduira avec fracas des vagues de l'Atlantique Nord et alors vous pouvez couronner le tout avec une boisson et peut-être si elle est le bon moment du mois une pleine lune miroitant sa lumière à travers long Beach. Les possibilités sont infinies.

The accommodations: As soon as we walked in we were immediately captured by the decor and the spectacular view through the window. We recognized the passion and care that went towards crafting such a welcoming and cozy vacation get away. The place was clean and well-equipped. Fully functional kitchen, rotating fans, individual thermostats for each room, complimentary quality shampoo and conditioner, and a TV in the bedroom.
The location:
Crows Head is located on a nice quiet peninsula, a six minute drive from Twillingate. A nice cafe, great sunset viewing locations, multiple stone beaches, and a hiking trail were all located within a 10 minute walk. We could see whales in the bay. Across the road is a public access stairway to a nice stone beach, equipped with a fire pit and chairs where we spent the evening listening to the tide washing over the rocks.
Regarding the hosts: They were exceptional. Located right next door, they were ready to resolve any questions or minor requests. Due to a mishap we were without a car and our host generously accommodated us, offering us rides to Twillingate and checking that we had a safe way back home. They provided supplies so we could make the most of the beach's fire pit, and provided recommendations of places to go and gave us insight into the local history of the place. Their hospitality was above and beyond from the moment we arrived. If we return to Twillingate, the Viking would be our first choice for accommodations!

We loved the place. Can't say anything negative. Ann was very gracious and welcoming. The loft was decorated beautifully with glass sculptures and wall hangings. The kitchen was fully stocked for al cooking purposes; i.e. cutlery and crockery, glassware, appliances and some condiments. The bedroom opened to the bathroom as well as to the sitting room. Great view of the Atlantic ocean from the large window with barstool seating at the shelf table. You will find two pair of binoculars, wine glasses and some travel books on Newfoundland/Labrador. We fell in love with this side cabinet, it was so very exquisite and beautifully constructed, it looked like it was made by the finest cabinet makers in a modern design. I'm sorry for rambling on, but lastly don't skip this place for accommodations in Crow Head, you will enjoy the nice quiet walks around the area.

This place is perfect. The location is extraordinary. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The place itself was perhaps the nicest most beautiful and most comfortable place I have ever stayed. There is no way to give 6 or 8 or 11 stars, but that is what it deserves

Arriving at the property we were greeted by the owner Ann. She took us through the property showed us everything and answered our questions. Offered suggestions for siteseeing and food in the area.
There is a beautiful window with seating looking out over the water. The view is gorgeous. ! We were greeted with an iceberg infact on our arrival.
Ann provided a welcome snack of crackers, cheese and fruit !!
We later met Mike her husband. He too was a wonderful friendly host. We stayed at 4 different properties while vacationing in Newfoundland and this was the best. Everything you could possibly need and so tastefully decorated.

What a fantastic holiday experience!
The location is incredible and the owners are super kind, welcoming folks.
We had icebergs in the bay, right outside our picture window every day we were there. There is spectacular hiking trails nearby and the Twillingate Dinner Theatre nearby was a lovely night out (excellent food and fun).

This loft apartment is exquisitely designed and artistically decorated. Two pair of binoculars are provided for you to search for whales sometimes seen in the cove outside your window. A peaceful and quiet location on the ocean, near the lighthouse and the best cafe in the Twillingate area. The Viking is the most beautiful accommodation where we have ever had the pleasure of staying.

The Viking Vacation Home is simply superb. It is an artfully appointed one bedroom apartment with a stellar view. The ambiance is one of an artist or writer's retreat. The host, Anne... and her husband Mike... are truly dedicated to the comfort and wellbeing of their guests. If we ever went to Twillingate again we would have no hesitation staying here again. It is a thoroughly enjoyable and unique experience.

We had a great 4 day stay at The Viking. We loved Ann’s personal touches and appreciated the well equipped unit. It was a good base for accessing hiking trails and touring. Will recommend to friends.

The Viking surpassed our expectations. It's a great location with a beautiful view, close to Twillingate for shopping and eating out but in a quiet community where you can just relax or go walking if the mood hits you. Our hosts were right next door so checking in was a breeze. The Viking is very well equipped with everything one would want or need.

We loved staying at The Viking! Ann and Mike are outstanding hosts - friendly and attentive to every detail. The apartment is beautifully appointed, well stocked and it even has a dishwasher! The views from the front picture window are lovely all day long. The location allows for leisurely walks and beach access. I highly recommend The Viking!

This beautifully decorated space sits right by the ocean, with a special spot to sit, enjoy a glass of wine and look out over the water as the whales swim by. Warm hosts and a wonderful town! Hope to visit again!
