Charming Cottage in Beaufort Historic District
Ce charmant cottage en brique est niché au milieu de magnifiques chênes et est adjacent à un parc avec la plus jolie plantation de chênes vivants de Beaufort. Ce cadre paisible et tranquille a 1400 pieds carrés d'espace de vie et une grande cour. Récemment mise à jour, cette maison dispose de parquet, de salles de bains carrelées, de deux télévisions à écran plat et est joliment décorée avec des ventilateurs de plafond dans chaque chambre.
La cuisine est garnie de vaisselle, d'argenterie et de petits appareils tels que cafetière, micro-ondes, four grille-pain, mixeur et mixeur. La cuisinière, le lave-vaisselle et le réfrigérateur sont neufs.
La maison est à deux étages, avec une chambre simple en bas (lit double) et les deux autres chambres à l'étage (lit queen dans la chambre principale et deux lits jumeaux dans l'autre). Il y a une petite pièce hors de la chambre à deux lits qui peut être utilisée pour un lit bébé ou un berceau (qui peuvent être fournis sur demande). De plus, deux autres canapés peuvent être utilisés pour dormir.

We found this to be a gem of a property! A wonderful home - very comfortable and well equipped. It is beautifully situated on a safe and peaceful street right next to a excellent park.

While looking for new place to visit, we settled on Beaufort SC, next thing, where to stay. Not the hotel type, we like a home setting. This place jumped off the page while searching and I looked at the listing for a few weeks, messaged the owner and my questions where answered, from there we booked the trip. This place is AMAZING, the owners are as well. Spotless and inviting, great quiet neighborhood. Close to every amenity the area has to offer, maybe I should say less to keep the secret longer, but this is a great place if you enjoy long walks under the ancient Oaks covered in Spanish Moss and ferns. Old historic buildings and culture. An untarnished public state-owned beach. Great foods. I could go on and on. But the home is better than I expected and a very nice surprise.

The cottage was so pretty and right beside a beautiful park. Perfect for our family. We had a karate tournament for my son on Saturday and we decided to make a long weekend of it. The cottage had everything we needed and more. It had a nice area outside to sit and/or eat as well. We will definitely be back!

This was perfect for our trip to see my nephew graduate! There was room for everyone - 4 adults & 2 children. Plenty of room for everyone to relax. The property is beautiful and being next door to a park was a bonus! We spent our days at Parris Island then came back to house for dinner. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to prepare family dinners. The house was very clean, with plenty of extra towels and bedding. The location was amazing - just a minutes drive to downtown Beaufort and ~20 minutes to Parris Island. We felt like we were staying at a family members home - we felt so welcome! The little things like the outside lights and heat being on for us! I would definitely recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

This house is located right next to a wonderful park with a big playground for children. It’s within walking distance to downtown with all the shops and restaurants and is also a very central starting point for great biking adventures.

This home is absolutely beautiful!! It is so cozy and welcoming. We stayed here in a girls trip and everyone loved it! Everything you need as far as utensils, toiletries, etc was right there!! Location was perfect, the park next door is an added plus!!! We will definitely be going back!!!

Beautiful cottage house with relaxing outdoor sitting. Nice walk from the house to the riverfront. Close to restaurants and shopping. Laura was so helpful with giving us all the information about Beaufort. We will return to this house and Beaufort next year.

We cannot say enough about this property and location as well as the owner. Everything was as advertised, the house was fully furnished, warm and comfortable and the neighborhood was wonderful. We met friendly neighbors, enjoyed the adjacent public park and the truly old southern atmosphere. Parking was easy, and long walks in and around the immediate area felt safe and were interesting. Laura and her husband were wonderful hosts and we were pleasantly surprised with a welcoming box of locally made chocolates and a bag of oranges and lemons off their tree which they shared. This is a secret jewel and we would highly recommend this rental. We also enjoyed hearing the "Sounds of Freedom" that occasionally flew out of the US Marine Air Base.

We were very busy during our stay, and spent very little time in the cottage. It was was nice to have a quiet, peaceful place to stay at the end of our days. The park adjacent was a beautiful place for a walk.
The house was very well stocked with everything we needed, plus some. It is clear that the owner is very concerned with the needs of the renters!
We loved the house. The rooms aren't large, but were perfect for the 4 of us. The only tiny thing I didn't care for was the window without blinds in one of the bedrooms. It is a small window, so I just placed a pillow there. Problem solved.

The house was lovely with all of the amenities we needed. Very close to downtown, and a very walkable, safe and friendly neighborhood. Laura was a wonderful host, and very easy to reach with any questions. We were able to borrow the Hunting State Park pass which was very nice. It was just my husband and I staying, but it would be a great place for a larger family as well.

I fell in love with this lovely cottage. It was updated and decorated like a page out of Better Homes. The location was excellent, next to a beautiful park with some amazing trees that could tell some great stories if they could talk. Near the ocean and within walking distance to many comfortable restaurants, a very quaint downtown area, beautiful scenery, and so much more. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and I want to go back. If you go, you will know what I mean.

….except for the nearby Marine base F-18 training sorties low flyovers during the morning and afternoon. HOWEVER, did not bother us a bit, but might be a no-go for other potential guests. It does end before sunset. I just want to put that in this review as we were not aware when we booked.
The home is perfect in every other way. Close to a park and a very walkable neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Walk to downtown and the riverfront walkway. Gorgeous. Beds are super comfy and there is truly everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Check in and out was a cinch. Owners answered questions in a jif. We’d book again without hesitation. Thanks for sharing your home.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property to visit my son. The location is amazing, and the house is so charming and has everything you could ever need and then some. We love the all seasons room for visiting and playing cards at night, and if you venture down to Pigeon Point in the evening either on foot or a quick drive the sunset is beautiful!

The cottage was beautiful and close to all that I enjoy about Beaufort. We did have 3 more guests than originally stated, that were children, and we were charged extra fees.

Even nicer than the pictures
The house is so cute! Even better than the pictures show. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed. It was super hot and the AC was amazing. The owners are great. My daughter left some clothes behind and they were kind enough to mail them. Quiet neighborhood and plenty of nice places to eat and do things nearby. We loved it!

One of my all time favorite rentals! My senior mother stayed downstairs which was perfect for her and my husband, myself, three year old and infant found it very comfortable and roomy upstairs. Lots of space and storage in this house which was also very convenient.
