Ce 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain récemment rénové dispose de 2 grandes vérandas donnant toutes deux sur le lac ainsi que d'un plan d'étage ouvert, ce qui rend le séjour de vos familles confortable.
En bas, vous trouverez la cuisine récemment rénovée et entièrement équipée avec tous les nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable, une chambre principale avec de nouveaux meubles et un lit queen size, une salle de bain principale récemment rénovée avec un combo bain / douche surdimensionné et la grande salle. La grande salle comprend des divertissements Dish améliorés sur une télévision à écran plat de 55 pouces, une barre de son à dents bleues ainsi qu'un canapé en coupe et une causeuse. Les appareils de cuisine supplémentaires comprennent une cafetière Keurig, un mélangeur, un grille-pain à quatre fentes et une mijoteuse!
En outre, en bas, se trouve notre deck de fête mentionné précédemment! Le pont est parfait pour tout rassemblement et comprend deux tables de pique-nique, de nouvelles chaises adirondack, des torches tiki et un gril à gaz! Le gril, remplacé en 2017, est idéal pour tout gril passionné, et le propane est sur nous! Nous fournissons du propane à tous nos invités par courtoisie. Vous trouverez également le combo laveuse / sécheuse situé à l'extrémité du pont niché dans son propre placard à côté des conteneurs à déchets.
A l'étage, nous avons deux chambres et une salle de bains. Tous les lits à l'étage sont de taille normale. La chambre en mezzanine donnant sur la grande chambre peut accueillir 2 tandis que la chambre arrière peut accueillir 4. Les deux chambres sont reliées au porche à l'étage et comprennent des sièges pour 4 personnes. Des lits supplémentaires sont situés sous les lits des chambres doubles. Pour votre confort, un climatiseur monté sur fenêtre a été ajouté à notre chambre double à l'étage.
Tous les lits de notre cabine ont récemment été équipés de nouveaux draps hypoallergéniques 100% coton, de nouvelles couettes et d'oreillers en duvet d'hôtel! Les deux lits de notre chambre double sont de nouveaux matelas en mousse à mémoire de forme!
Assez avec toutes les technicités de l'intérieur, je veux dire allez ... Vous êtes au bord du lac, alors parlons-en! Vous n'êtes qu'à quelques secondes de notre nouveau quai tout en métal. Le quai a été construit en juillet 2018, et nous avons depuis ajouté des pare-chocs latéraux pour que votre bateau soit en sécurité! Nous vous recommandons toutefois d'ajouter vos propres pare-chocs par mesure de précaution.
Notre cabine est située au centre, il est donc très facile de se rendre où vous devez aller par l'eau! Sequoyah Marina est l'une des plus grandes marinas sur le lac, et vous êtes à seulement 10 minutes (en vitesse) en bateau! Sequoyah Marina est un port de plaisance à service complet proposant des WaveRunners et des locations de bateaux pontons. Ils commencent tous leurs week-ends le vendredi soir avec leur fameuse "Wing Night" servant les meilleures ailes et la Corona la plus froide du lac Norris!
En outre, à seulement 10 minutes en bateau (vitesse), Whitman Hollow. Whitman est un plus petit quai, mais ne vous y trompez pas. Froggies est le bar de Whitman qui se targue de la bonne musique, de la nourriture délicieuse, du personnel amical et de leur terrasse de salle à manger (appelez pour les réservations)

The cottage was very charming. The location was great and the weather was even better.
The deck and steps need a little attention. The one thing I wish for would be to thin the trees out so you could see more of the lake and especially between the cottage and the dock as you can’t see the dock from the cottage.

Great family cabin. Love seeing the family photos on the walls that were taken on the lake Cabin is clean, linens were provided with extra blankets and such. Bring beach towels as they do not have any at the house. AC works great as we were there on a week of 90* all week. Any kitchen item you need was in the cabinet. Extremely nice to have a washer and dryer right by the main level. A few notes for future renters: the stairs to the 2nd floor are very narrow (I’d recommend kids upstairs), the property is on a pointe so boats do cruise around the corner fast creating wake (our boat was fine but bring extra fenders to use), we brought a folding wagon to use to haul items up and down the hill to the boat dock (the walk up the hill is not bad, much preferred over 100+ steps).

The house was exactly as described. Our only issue was with meal times.There is no light over the dining table and only 4 chairs. We utilized the stools, but they are really too high for the table.
There was plenty of room to park the car and truck and trailer. The access to the lake and dock was manageable.

Very difficult identification of property (I suggest adding property number to home- less than $20). Code given by VRBO was inaccurate. Causing several issues which were resolved by property owner. Overall great place for our weekend. Catfish from the dock. Might be an internal leak, kitchen had running water noises.

We had a nice time at Norris Lake. The property is set up for a young family. Beware of the outside stairs and the steep hill to the lake. Ground is uneven on path going down and a twisted ankle is likely if you are not constantly aware. The kitchen has everything you need. A little on the expensive side but overall nice. (Cleaning crew should have cleaned air vent and swept deck.) But the view was great.

We rented this house and I was very happy with it. My only issues are the steps could use some TLC, and the walk to the dock is much steeper than it seems in the pictures. The house was clean and enjoyable. The lake was pristine and we had a great time. We had one heck of a storm one night and lost power, it was up and running in no time, quicker than at my own house.

We enjoyed our stay at the A-frame on the lake. We arrived with surprise goodies waiting, which was so sweet. The dock was large but in two sections with plastic flooring and tape covering the gap and was difficult to get onto. A guy came by and said someone would pull it out further into the lake but never did. The decks were large with ample picnic tables and a good grill. One of the three plastic chairs was broken. The rock and concrete stairs are broken as well as dangerous. It was cute inside but rustic. Thank you for the use of your vacation home.

The kids asked if we could come back next year. 😊

Grade from the lake to the cabin was fairly easy to manage for someone of average fitness. There was a local power outage on our second day there, contacted the property manager and the power company had power back on within a few hours. Check-out instructions easy to comply with. Thanks for the thoughtful welcome bottle of wine and the Goldfish crackers which we enjoyed! This was a relaxing week for us and our dog.

Relaxing vacation with amazing lake access
This cabin has an old charm feel, and we felt very much at home. We stayed with our family and friends. We had a total of 5 adults, 3 children, and an infant. It fit us all comfortably, anymore people than that it would not have accommodated well. The adult and child sleeping in the loft did not have much privacy and it was somewhat difficult in the morning to not wake them. But the outside deck accommodated us quite well until they were ready to wake up. The lake is breathtaking. The dock was so much fun for the kids to jump off and swim. Downsides include the dock not having a ladder, the massive hill from the lake to the house, and the fire pit is kind of at an awkward spot. But overall the home was very clean and we loved having a private dock. I would highly recommend this property! We will definitely be staying again!

Great smaller rental
This was a great rental. Just as described, clean, with a great location. The only downsides were no ladder on the dock so it was very hard to swim off of and the upstairs bathroom is small with a shower only. This made it a little tight for two families and i wouldn’t recommend thIs for groups larger than 8. We only had a boat 3 days of our trip so I was disappointed that the kids really couldn’t swim off the dock because it was way too hard to get out without a ladder. The walk down to the dock is exhausting but I’m sure it’s that way with most houses on Norris! The kitchen was very nice and we loved hanging out on the deck and down by the fire pit. The WiFi worked well at the house and on the deck. Highly recommend!

Great Getaway!
We booked this property for two weeks to be able to shelter in place in a more enjoyable place! We appreciated that we were able to bring our dog and that the place was the perfect size for our family of 4. The walk down to the dock is a big hill but manageable and I liked it better than the ton of stairs most places at Norris offer. The dock is nice but no ladder to climb back up. The location on the water is very busy and the boat traffic on Saturdays made crazy big waves. My boys liked to play in them but it made swimming a little challenging. Week days were much more calm. For kids, it was also nice that they could walk in the water and played a lot on the old boat ramp in the water. When we got there the internet hardly worked and we had booked the place planning to work remotely. After a call to the owner, the problem was resolved. We still had some issues with internet through the time but mostly was sufficient for us to be on internet calls through most of the week. There was no cell service for us. Kitchen was well equipped with the exception of the knives being terribly dull. Overall, we had a great trip and would likely rent again.

Great cabin
The cabin was very nice and newly renovated. The dock was a little rough but due to the location and the waves coming in. Wheel of the welcome basket from the owners. That was very nice. Weather was beautiful one day of rain and we went shopping in town and found some good bargains so everything worked out. We had dinner one night at Sequoyah Marina and one night at Whitman Hollow.

Very nice!
This was a lovely cabin to come home to after long days on the water. (Unfortunately we had severe storms at the end of our stay, and there was no power from early Friday evening until Saturday morning.) The trek to and from the dock every day wasn’t so bad, but walking back up would probably not be so easy for anyone with health issues or for the elderly. We were so glad to read about the history of this lovely cabin...what a great story!! Thank you for making your home available to us!!

This home is adorable!!! The loft bedroom was a hit with our oldest. The walk to the lake is very challenging. Huge hill to navigate. It was quite exhausting. Once on the lake it is gorgeous especially at night. There is a lot of boat traffic all week. Not good for fishing. There is a floating dock if you want to try fishing & it is deep enough to jump off of. Had fun floating especially with the waves but we didn't catch anything. Neighbors are close but there wasn't anyone there during our stay. It was nice to be able to bring our dogs. Now the not so good stuff... The house needs some minor repairs. The door handle to the upper deck from the loft bedroom was very loose & difficult to lock/unlock. The faucet in the upstairs bathroom was broke. The "bar" for the shelves in the fridge were duct taped to hold food in which did not work. Food fell out if you put it in the door. Freezer was the same way. The ant problem was not so bad. The owner did what they could to prevent it but you're in the woods on a lake. There will be bugs but it wasn't bad. There are not many TV channels to view. However we weren't there to watch TV. We ran out of propane for the grill but the owners responded promptly! Overall it was a good stay. If the minor repairs were taken care of I would give this a 4-5 star rating.
