This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at this condo and we love it! The condo is clean, has an awesome view of the ocean and Diamond Head, and is really convenient to walking to Waikiki beach! This will continue to be our go to condo when visiting Honolulu!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. Unfortunately we fell sick on arrival and had to spend the first 4 days of our trip inside. As a result, our only complaint is with the living room sofa, it’s not large enough to lay down on comfortably, and the pull out is not very comfortable. But this would not have been an issue if we had not fallen ill as we would have been outside exploring most of the time.

IT WAS A PROBLEM AT THE BEGINNING TO GET ACCESS TO THE AIRBNB RENTAL DUE TO ISSUES WITH THE ACCESS DOOR CODE. ONCE CORRECTED THINGS PROGRESSED A LITTLE BIT BETTER. YOU CAN TELL THAT THE HOTEL IS A 3 STAR HOTEL JUST BY WALKING AROUND. MOST OF THE HALLWAYS AS WELL AS THE RENTAL UNIT NEED SOME NEW CARPETS AND IN THE CASE OF THE RENTAL UNIT NEED CABINET DOORS AS THEY WERE PEALING. SOME PAINT WOULD GO A LONG WAY ALSO.

This building is in a good location, and the unit is relatively well-maintained. It's a little older and some things don't work quite right (none of the locks on the interior doors worked, the towel bar in the bathroom broke the first day and no one was available to fix it, the a/c sensor kept saying the door was open when it wasn't, etc.) The unit is clean, though. The "starter" amount of supplies is pretty minimal, so expect to be buying your own toilet paper and other essentials within a few days of arrival. The bed in the bedroom is comfortable, but our kids complained that the sofa bed was uncomfortable. The reservation system for the pool rendered it useless to us (it was too hard to schedule exactly when we'd want to use the pool in advance when on vacation). We travel to Hawaii yearly to visit family and have stayed in multiple condos; I would say our experience at this unit was just average.

It was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. It had enough kitchen wares to cook a meal although we did not have any time for cooking. There were plenty of extra towels, beach towels, bedsheets, etc. the laundry was on the same floor which was very helpful. It is walkable to the beach and a lot of restaurants which is a bonus bcoz of the parking issues in Waikiki. And the biggest bonus was having a free parking spot included. We did not have any issues with any building work going on.

Business trip to paradise
We were in town for business, but decided to get a Airbnb instead of a hotel due to covid.
Everything was great. The check in process was super easy. The unit access was easy. I didn’t like how strict they were with pool and gym access. Made it virtually impossible to get to the gym to burn off all the yummy food I had there!
Everything about the apartment was nice, I’d just suggest the ownership to please change the carpet.... it’s really old and heavily trafficked.
I didn’t feel comfortable walking around bare foot inside the apartment.

After much back and forth communicating with him, they offered us a refund if we wanted to look for another place or 50% off if we stayed with a broken AC. Either option wasn't ideal since we just arrived and had no place to stay. I requested they find us a place for the night since we just arrived and had no other option. The property manager was apologetic and he was able to find us a room for the night. Fortunately they were able to get the AC unit fixed the next day and we decided to keep our reservation for the week. We didn't want to deal with finding a new property at the last minute and not knowing what we would find. It was a bumpy start to our vacation but I'm glad they were able to fix the issue.

It's a good property perfect for a small family. The property managers were quick to respond to our questions/issues and were gracious and tried to fix whatever came up.

Watching sunsets from the bed was amazing. Bed was super comfy. I loved it so much that I actually reached out to see if I could rent it for 6 months!
