It was a perfect place. Every morning you have a great view of the sunrise and just beautiful breathe taking view. Breezy came in and kept the place cool. Such great hospitality and host always made sure we were okay. Highly recommended!!

My husband and I stayed 7 nights here and we were very impressed firstly by the beautiful lake view and comfortable breeze. And then by its cleanlinesses! The interior design is perfect for vacation in Hawaii. Also they prepare the beach goods such as beach chairs, coolers, enough quantity of beach towels! My husband and I rented for a week in May. Everything about the rental was wonderful for us. It was quiet, beautiful view of water, sunrises and sunsets, kayaks on the lake, close to shopping and downtown Kailua, close to beaches, including beautiful Lanikai, close to Kualoa Ranch for a wedding, and less than an hour away from Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head. Marcie was available on site, and helpful, warm and friendly. We would love to come back!

The most relaxing atmosphere in Oahu. Central to everything, from beaches, hikes, breathtaking views, and not far from the touristy attractions of Honolulu. Marcie is a great host! Winds were great day and night through the house. We were never hot or cold, just a great ambient temperature. No mold or musk, all linens were fresh and clean! Bed is comfy, what more can you ask for?

Rarely do I give 5 Stars from start to finish but this cozy, honeymooners paradise took our breath away for 8 days while celebrating our 25th. From the lake view and surrounding mountain range to the birds singing…it’s a best kept secret. It’s minutes away from local shops, beaches and restaurants. The inside is tastefully decorated and felt like home away from home. We are recommending to our fam & friends to experience this Hala and when staying in Oahu. Game changer and at an affordable price!!

My husband and I had a nice, relaxing stay here. The view is gorgeous and you get a pleasant cross breeze with the windows. Marcie is a great host and very responsive if you need anything. The house is tucked away so you don't hear any hustle and bustle from the street, but just a short drive from Kailua's restaurants and shops and about 30 mins from Honolulu/Waikiki. If you want to get away from busy parts of Oahu, this is a great spot!

Absolutely fantastic property with a great location. The apartment itself was super accessible, exceptionally clean and came with awesome amenities. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!

The property was beautiful and Marcie was a great host. We were initially worried about staying in a property with no air conditioning but found the lake breezes were steady so we didn't need it at all. Would highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again.

What an amazing spot! The house was clean, welcoming and the perfect flare of true Hawaii living. The backyard was AMAZING, and we could watch the sunrise right from our lanai every morning. We took the kayaks out even for a sunrise paddle to the beach, it was perfect! The breeze that came into the unit was great, no need for A/C. Marcie supplied us for a new bag of Kona Coffee and gifted us macadamia chocolates which we throughly enjoyed daily. Thank you Marcie for such a relaxing and welcoming stay!

Our stay in Kailua was amazing! Marcie is the perfect host and made sure we had everything from beach chairs, towels, cooler and even kayaks. While we were there my girlfriend proposed to me so Kailua and Lanakai will always have a special meaning for us! Not to mention the view off the back balcony of the house was amazing. We will definitely come stay again!

We stayed for 10 days and absolutely loved Marcie‘s place! It’s exactly as described in the listing - the views clearly being the most attractive feature :) We enjoyed the serene location a lot, sat outside with coffee or drinks, and kayaked to the beach at sunrise one of the days. Marcie was always super responsive and happy to help. It’s definitely a gem on VRBO, recommend 5/5

Awesome place...great area..the beaches were very close....

We had a great time there and appreciated the quiet neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake and spent quite a bit of time there, just reading and listening to the wind rustling the palm tree leaves. The home was spacious too and they provided everything we could possibly need.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location for our stay on Oahu. The area made us feel like we were in a tropical location rather than a whirlwind of people and cars. This condo was fully stocked with everything we could need and the morning sunrise couldn't have been lovelier any where else in Hawaii . Thanks for such a great place to stay!

Checkin and checkout was super easy and stress free. The location and view was extraordinary. The beaches are a short car ride away and the neighbors are super nice. Make sure you brew you a cup of coffee or two and watch the sunrise. We had great time, but it did get pretty hot during our stay. On the positive side it made us get outside and do things. :) We will definitely come back in the future!

There was nothing NOT to like about this condo! Great location, absolutely every convenience anyone could expect on arrival to get a good start. And most of all, so clean and so tastefully decorated.

Marcie is a wonderful host and this hale is perfect! The view from the balcony is a dream. Close to beautiful hikes and beaches, restaurants and bars. Marcie even had beach chairs and an umbrella for our use. The hale is incredibly clean and the kitchen space was great for quick meals. Cannot recommend enough!

Marcie's property on Enchanted Lake was so full of charm. You can tell Marcie takes pride in her rental property. It was spotless and the view from the private Lanie was beautiful. Wish we had more time to enjoy the kayak's but we were pleasantly surprised to find beautiful beaches so close to her property. Marcie provides comfortable beach chairs, towels and a cooler to enjoy the beach. Marcie was a wonderful host. You won't be disappointed if you rent her property. Clean, bright unit with lots of natural light! Modern decor and comfortable bed and furniture. Marcie is a helpful host but gives you your privacy in this totally separate studio unit. Mahalo!

We loved our stay. What I didn't realize, was that this place is 11 minutes from the most spectacular beach. White sand, turquoise water--wow. The Hale itself was quiet, well maintained and had almost everything you could want. We did a lot of eating in, so some containers, food wrap or spices would have been perfect, but those are just "wishes". We are already planning a return trip because we can't imagine finding anything better.

Marcie's property was the perfect escape for my hubby and I to honeymoon. It was easy to get to and close to lots of restaurants and shops. It was very clean, quiet, and well kept. The kayaks were great and we loved using them to kayak down to the beach. The only down side is there is no air conditioning. Coming from a dry climate, it felt really hot even though I'm sure the locals wouldn't agree. There were lots of fans to help and we got used to it by the 2nd-3rd night, but even a wall unit for the bedroom would help. Overall, If you are looking for a quiet getaway that's not too far from anything, but far enough away to escape the madness, stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay and the owner couldn't have been nicer. It was very clean, new and nicely decorated. Lots of natural light. Great location to the ocean and beach there in Kailua. You can get to Honolulu and every place rather quickly. There is a little shopping center up the street that has a grocery store and several nice restaurants there along with a movie theater next to the shopping center too. You'll enjoy your stay and waking up to a lake view. We highly recommend this wonderful location!!!

We loved the neighborhood location, convenience to Kailua amenities and to Lanikai Beach. It was very quiet and cooler than other locations we stayed on Oahu. The hale is very new and wonderfully maintained. The 2nd floor views are very nice and we enjoyed the lanai looking over Enchanted Lake. We hope to return on our next trip to Oahu!

We loved loved loved our time here. Gorgeous views of the lake with constant breezes keeping it cool. Very clean and felt spacious and open and had all the essentials we needed in the kitchen and bath. Spent a couple evenings having dinner in the backyard on the patio watching the sunset. The complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrella were greatly appreciated and the kayaks were wonderful! We took them out and tooled all around the lake, then ventured down a windy river thru a neighborhood, past a golf course and right to the beach. We then took them across Kailua Bay and straight to the island with the bird sanctuary and toured that and then kayaked all the way back. A perfect day on the lake, river and ocean!! Great location to have the beautiful mtns behind us and the ocean just in front of us. Gorgeous Lakina Beach within a 5 minute drive which had nice snorkeling as well! I looked all over VRBO before choosing this location and felt lucky to have found it. Having driven all over the island for a week, this was my favorite part of the island. We will be back!

Quiet gem in Kailua, very relaxing and welcoming. Safe neighbourhood to walk around. Close to Safeway (walking distance). Love the breeze and lots of windows!! SUPing and kayaking was def a plus.
