Perfect location and amenities
We absolutely loved our stay in Vancouver and consider ourselves lucky to have found this house. It's ideally situated in North Vancouver, just a quick SeaBus ride across the water to downtown Vancouver. There are multiple restaurants, breweries, markets, and shopping within walking distance of the house. It's also a quick getaway to Whistler and local attractions such as Capilano and Grouse Mountain. The house itself is uniquely positioned in a quaint marina, with ample sunshine and incredible views throughout the day. Lastly, the owners of the house are a joy to work with. They were attentive to our needs and are genuinely caring people. I cannot say enough good things about this house and the city of Vancouver. We cannot wait to go back!

Fantastic float home right on the water. Everything you could ask for in a vacation home.
Everything went very well. Our host answered all of our questions very quickly. Pictures were exactly as you see everything online. Place was immaculate when we arrived. The people that run the marina do a really good job keeping everything clean. Very quiet. 5 minutes to the seabus and downtown. Lovely view of the harbor and the city. We would definitely stay again. Our host Linda did an excellent job from the beginning of our stay right until the last day.

North Vancouver at its very best
Linda and James's float home in North Vancouver was very simply put, perfect in all aspects. My business partner and I have been working in North Vancouver for approximately 7 months of the year the past couple of years and I must say that we have found an absolute diamond in this property.
Both Linda and James couldn't have been more accommodating and their property commands a waterfront position in the much sought after Lower Lonsdale area of North Vancouver.
The property is immaculate from top to bottom with a very large open plan living area upstairs giving stunning views over the harbour and Downtown Vancouver. The attention to detail provided by Linda and James ensured that we had an amazing stay and we are sure to be booking with them again in the future for further business stays in the area. Many, many thanks Linda and James, your floathome is awesome.

A Wonderful Place to Stay
We had such a wonderful few days on the float home in Mosquito Creek Marina. The owner, Linda, is one of the nicest and most helpful people you will ever meet. The house is just perfect- clean, comfortable, very well equipped and in the perfect location. In addition Linda ensures there is much more than just a few basic essentials in the fridge and cupboards, so nice to have. The views over the Marina and across the water to Vancouver are great and the proximity to the Seabus terminal makes access to Downtown Vancouver so easy. With Lonsdale Quay Market also within 10 minutes walk there really is everything you could want.
Many thanks, Linda, if we ever need somewhere to stay in Vancouver again, the float house will be our first choice.

Vancouver Delight
Our stay couldn’t have been better. The float home was a perfect fit for our party of five. Check in was in person with the owner, Linda and her husband James. They gave as an overview of the house, right down to how to work the Sonos system. The neighborhood is walking distance to shopping and dining. And you can catch the SeaBus water taxi from there to take you straight to downtown Vancouver, eliminating a difficult drive and park experience. Location also allowed us easy access to outdoor activities north and west of the city. Evenings on the back deck provided spectacular views of Vancouver across the Harbour. We could not have chosen better accommodations for our visit!

Anniversary Stay
I surprised my husband for our anniversary with a stay at this beautiful float home. The home was exactly as shown and was in a perfect location with easy walking access to everything. Linda, our host, made us feel welcome and was sweet to periodically check with us that all was ok. We would love to return one day and have recommended a float home vacation to all of our friends. Truly relaxing.

Great family stay
This was an amazing experience for our family - the houseboat was beautifully appointed, we saw seals, fish, starfish and jellyfish, and the owners were really helpful with all questions. Very handy to grocery and other shops and to the sea bus. Highly recommend!

Unique and convenient home in N. Vancouver
Our family of two adults and two teens were very happy here. The house is located in the marina and offers a distinctly nautical experience, much like being on an actual boat, with views across the harbor to central Vancouver. The location is hard to beat, a short walk from excellent shops and restaurants at Lonsdale Quay and from there a 10-15 minute SeaBus ride to downtown Vancouver.
Linda met us on arrival and was extremely welcoming, showing us the house and offering neighborhood tips. The house was very clean and well-appointed and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well enough equipped for real cooking had we been so inclined.
The marina location is truly unique - we saw seals from the balcony and watched fireworks one night above the masts of sailboats moored nearby.

A magical place to stay!
We have loved everything about being here. Linda is just wonderful, and the property is even better than it looks in the photos. The master bedroom is so comfortable, and all of the fixtures and fittings are high end. We enjoyed a lovely barbecue one evening whilst sitting watching the sunset. Very few places I could think of that would be nicer! Book without hesitation; you’ll have a fantastic vacation.

Unique experience
We had a good time in this lovely floating home. The interior is done with taste and the terrace view to Vancouver is just incredible. Going to Downtown with the Seabus was easy and I would recommend to leave the car and do this - also because the traffic jams which seem to be inevitable when going from downtown to North Vancouver. The communication with Linda and her daughter Alexa worked out fine. Feeling the house float was nice and sometimes a bit funny. We loved the Sonos system and the well equipped kitchen.
Only downsides where the high temperatures in the house when we arrived and which was difficult to cool down and the dirty and unusable BBQ. Linda responded well to the BBQ issue which we appreciated. Overall a very nice stay and we especially enjoyed the glass of wine in the evening with the view to the Vancouver skyline.

Perfection
Everything was just perfect! Location, check. Floathouse cleanliness and beauty, check. Easy owner contact, check!
It really was the perfect location, easy access to downtown and up the mountain. Many friends have heard me recount the stay, and asked me to share the VRBO listing with them. When we return to Vancouver, we will definitely be looking to book Linda’s property!

We were to embark on a cruise ... this float house was not only a great place to stay, but also we were able to easily walk to the seabus with all our luggage. The seabus took us straight to the port.

Linda was very communicative both before and during our stay. The house has incredible views of the water and city. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Seabus into Vancouver and 12 mins to the Lonsdale Quay Market which is super convenient.
From Linda’s House you can be at the Capilano Bridge in ten minutes and Grouse Mountain in 20 minutes.
All in all this was an excellent house for our group of 5 and Linda was great to work with! Such a great place to stay.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this unique home situated in a perfect area of N Vancouver. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the Seabus for quick travel to downtown Vancouver. The most memorable thing about the home is that it’s floating on the water. Gorgeous views each morning and evening, spacious balcony with comfortable seating. Linda is a great host and ensures you are welcome and all your needs are met.
