My sister and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home, which exceeded my expectations. The garden setting is absolutely stunning, providing a serene and peaceful environment that made our stay incredibly relaxing. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, we felt right at home.
The location of the property is also a major plus. It's conveniently close to various sights and some of the best dining options in the area, which made exploring and dining out extremely convenient.
Overall, this home provided the perfect retreat and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and beautiful place to stay. I look forward to the opportunity to return in the future.

My wife and I were visiting Vancouver for a few days and didn't want to stay at a downtown highrise hotel. This rental was perfect for us. Located in North Vancouver, it is an easy drive to numerous hiking trails and outdoor activities yet with easy access to downtown Vancouver via public transit (a short walk to a bus, to the Seabus service to Vancouver) or by car.
The unit itself is very well equipped with everything you need if you choose to prepare your own meals. And it is clean, quiet and private.
Frances and Terence are very gracious hosts and are readily available to answer any questions.
We highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Loved this suite. Was absolutely beautiful - the most beautiful and clean suite I have stayed in! It had everything I could have needed and then some! The bed was DIVINE. I didn't want to get up :) Loved the privacy. Frances was lovely to communicate with. Very pleasant and helpful. The area is perfect. Easy parking. I just adored the trees surrounding the property. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every minute of being at this beautiful property! Frances and Terrence were so welcoming and friendly, great communication but also very respectful of our privacy-striking a perfect balance. The pictures do not do this accommodation justice, it’s cozy, spacious, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything you could ever need for your stay. It felt like a real home away from home! Also can’t forget to mention the gorgeous garden and perfect North Van location. We loved our stay so much and are looking forward to returning. OMG! The place was not only beautiful, but should be the industry standard for cleanliness and appearance for VRBO’s and hotels.
Everything was beyond expectation, secluded away in a restorative tree surrounded environment. It is only walking distance from the North Vancouver area (although it is at the top of a very tall hill — which is absolutely a part of the charm!).
Make sure to watch the sunset from the quaint patio area and if you are lucky, the moonset.
It is a story book environment if you wish to restore your soul, or are inspired to do some contemplative work.
The homeowners are very respectful of space and hospitality. Make sure to bring them a gift, because the place you’re staying is their gift to you.

As a solo woman traveler, I felt safe in the house and neighborhood. Frances greeted me when I checked in and was very friendly and helpful. The location is close to transit and was easy to get around the city. Everything was comfortable and made me feel relaxed at the end of the day.

Everything about this property exceeded expectations. Frances and Terence were wonderful; welcoming, kind, and very willing to share their local knowledge. The grounds were beautiful, the pictures do not convey just how lovely the gardens on their property are. The accommodation itself suited our needs to a tee. The furnishings were new and well maintained, the bed very comfortable, and the little extras (umbrellas, extra beach towels etc.) were a pleasant surprise. Restaurants, bakeries, Starbucks etc. were a 10 minute walk and the bus stop providing easy access to the SeaBus and downtown Vancouver, was a short walk away. A wonderful stay!!!! This unit has been recently renovated. We had a very nice stay there. It was sparkling clean, well appointed and nicely decorated. The full kitchen has new appliances, and the layout is very convenient. The living area has a nice work table, good Wifi and a comfortable sofa and chair. The bed was comfy with high quality linens. The beautiful secluded garden is peaceful—a lovely place to relax.. The location in West Vancouver is convenient to many good restaurants. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations, etc.
Clearly these hosts want to provide the best possible experience for travelers . This would be a 5 star review except for a couple of concerns that we have detailed to the hosts.
The unit is a basement apartment and has a walkway down to the unit made of irregular, natural stones with no railing. That walkway is difficult to negotiate for anyone who has arthritic knees, bad ankles, balance issues or other mobility problems. The stones would be more difficult in rain, ice or snow.
Tall folks need to be careful of the beam separating the kitchen and the living area. The bottom of the beam is less than 6 feet high and is painted the same color as the ceiling and walls, which makes it easy to overlook.

We stayed at this one bedroom unit for a night. It’s close to public transport which we used the bus from Lonsdale quay to home as well as to Lynn canyon. The hosts were so kind to help us with our luggage as we arrived close to midnight from the airport. The unit itself was clean, nicely laid out and comfortably furnished. You can tell that the hosts really care for the comfort of their guests. They were also really helpful with information on tourist activities. I would highly recommend staying here.

We found this the perfect place to move between hikes near Squamish/Whistler and everything Vancouver. Capilano Suspension Bridge is right down the street.
Morning coffee in the garden was a highlight for us. Frances has designed a lovely hidden space among flowering bushes and majestic cedars.

This was hands down the best travel experience we've had using a short stay vacation rental. The location is perfect, very walkable area and close to public transportation. There are multiple walking paths nearby. The hosts went above and beyond to provide recommendations for places to see and food to eat. My husband loves to ask for recommendations and both Frances and Terence seemed to not only be willing to provide them, but enjoyed giving their favorite suggestions. (all were superb) Frances even took the time to explain the local public transit system. The space was very well appointed, comfortable, and beautiful. They had the place stocked with anything you could need. The property itself is a wonderfully landscaped garden getaway. You could almost imagine not being in the city. True 5 star accommodation! Thank you for a wonderful space to relax!

This property was awesome! The hosts were very helpful as well. The grounds felt like an oasis…flowers in bloom…it smelled sweet…super private. The location was perfect. We had a car, but also walked 2 blocks to the bus stop to ride to the wharf one day. Inside the property felt brand new. The bed was lush and comfortable. Everything about our stay was perfect! The suite was clean, large, bright, private and very well equipped. Frances had a note saying there was some wrapping paper in a cabinet so we were able to wrap a gift to give that day. Very thoughtful hosts who aim to ensure you have a good stay. We liked the property as it was like staying in a cozy garden apartment. The garden and the neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and enjoyable with lots of flowers and trees. There was easy access to downtown, shopping, the TransCanada Highway, and many attractions. The apartment was comfortable and well stocked with everything. There is free parking which is hard to find in Vancouver.
The host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and were glad we chose this location as opposed to the crowded and bustling downtown.

We came up from Snohomish County for a few days and chose Frances and Terence’s for a few reasons: the large, private setting with mature trees and plants that created a wonderful oasis; close proximity to Lonsdale, the quayside, Park Royal, Ambleside, and quick access to downtown Vancouver. The amenities were new, clean and very well appointed. Frances gave us some great suggestions for things we could do and was a very charming host. Highly recommended!

We decided to stay in North Vancouver a few days because of concert tickets in Vancouver. This rental has a beautiful garden and outside space. Our travel by public transit worked out perfectly for our concert! The hosts were very informative and friendly! It was very peaceful there. It is a basement apartment with it's own entrance. We would definitely return if we come back to this area!

Beautiful views surrounded by well-tended garden greenery lends a calm to this delightful lower-unit suite. The full kitchen had everything for the cook from quality stoneware to spices, oils & balsamic vinegar! Visiting from Florida, we appreciated that each room has individual heat controls & made use of the full-size clothes washer/dryer. Great wifi & water pressure. Excellent communication with hosts.

Wonderful place to stay. Close to everything. Easy to get into the city, and only minutes away from Stanley Park, hiking, suspension bridges and the outdoors. Hosts were welcoming, extremely flexible and the apartment was lovely. Bed was very comfortable, fully supplied kitchen and washer/dryer. Would absolutely stay there again. So glad we stayed in North Vancouver rather in the city center.

What a treat to find this lovely spot surrounded by trees and gardens, yet just a walk away from restaurants and stores on Lonsdale. We were able to spend a week with family in North Vancouver without renting a car. Would definitely recommend it.
