Cette maison à plusieurs étages, de conception unique, est extrêmement spacieuse et comprend un grand espace de vie ouvert avec parquet, plafond voûté spectaculaire, puits de lumière, téléviseur haute définition 46 "avec câble / Blu-ray et mobilier confortable, incl. grand dormeur. Si vous cuisinez dans la cuisine, vous pouvez toujours prendre part à la conversation et vous amuser, car la cuisine est ouverte sur le salon et la salle à manger. Aargh House was about a block from the center of the island and about a block from the beach. Weather was good. We ate oysters and steamed shrimp at Lynn's in East Point three times and took seafood home. Several good restaurants in Apalachicola and Port St. Joe. We went to the beach 4 days. SGI allows golf carts on all streets except the main street, so we brought a cart to use.

We had a wonderful time at St. George Island. The house is in a great location, only a short golf cart ride away from shops and restaurants. The house was perfect for a stay with teens and dogs with a very private yard, entire upstairs suit for the parents, separate rooms for the kids and multiple enclosed decks so the pets were easily outside yet contained! The owner was friendly and easy to commit with. We hope to stay again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay, the house had everything we needed plus ! The location is great, close to beach, close to town, yet has a private feel to it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had a jacuzzi tub , something new since the last time we stayed there. I love that it has a lot of outdoor space to enjoy! We were able to bring both of our dogs. Owners were a pleasure to work with! We would definitely rent this home again!

The home is very spacious which allowed us to have family visit. The yard is beautiful. The path to the beach is very nice, we used it frequently. It’s a short walk to stores and restaurants. This is a large home with 3 nice bedrooms. There was lots of room to walk the dog in the yard and neighborhood streets. We loved the big deck off the living room. Short walk to the beach. Check in and out was easy.

We love this house! This was our second stay. The house is tucked in the trees and has three decks with both sun and shade at different times of the day. My canvases and paint brushes spent a lot of time out side. There are little surprises to find in the yard (I won’t ruin it for you. ) A short walk to the beach, breakfast, pizza, ice cream… The bike paths are nice, lots of places to ride. We love it!

This was our 6th time on SGI and this has been our favorite house! We could bring both our dogs, the location was very convenient, close to town and beach. The yard was awesome, private feeling with all the trees and landscaping. The house was even better than what I had anticipated, many skylights and windows with so much natural sunlight! I loved the multiple decks and outdoor seating to hang out outside. The kitchen was very well stocked. The owners were great communicators and easy to work with. Unfortunately for us our stay was cut short due to hurricane Idalia. We have already made plans to come back to Aargh House next year. Even with our short stay we feel blessed because we did have 2 great days at the beach and the hurricane ended up not hitting SGI directly! God is good!! Home was fantastic. Well equipped kitchen, nice space on the deck for eating, playing games at night. Love the upstairs bedroom with gulf views and the outdoor shower. Home is very private surrounded by trees and a walking path to the beach. Owners were communicative, easy to deal with, and even mailed some ear buds after we left. Great experience on all levels.

We couldn't have been happier with aargh house during our stay on St. George's Island. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated, the kitchen better appointed than any we've ever stayed at, great TV, and comfortable beds. The porches are wonderful, and the view of the gulf from the master bedroom is beautiful. The Host is terrific, and although we had no problems he mede contact to ensure we were comfortable and to please let him know if there were any issues at all. The walk to the beach is short and pleasant and although we had bad weather for most of our stay, the property more than made up for it. The one thing that may be an issue for some is that there are two fliights of stairs, one to get to the main lliving area, and one to get to the master bedroom, so if stairs are a problem for someone this would be a consideration. Having said that, this is a superb property with wonderful hosts, check it out!

Tom was very easy to get a hold of. And super helpful. Tons of amenities. We liked having multiple spices on hand since we usually make our own meals on the island. Nice house. Great location. We liked staying bayside for a change. Not far at all to the beach (but anywhere on the island is an easy walk to beach).

We were here over Christmas and a deep cold spell. The house is lovely and has lots of indoor and outdoor space. The back deck was warm even in the cold weather. I've never rented a house with such a well appointed kitchen!! The beds were super comfy. It's a lovely quiet neighborhood just a quick walk to the beach. Be warned, the stairs are VERY narrow and steep. A concern for older and younger folks and critters. Not a deal breaker but caution required. There is a baby gate to block off areas. Great place, Great host.

Aargh House Sets Up Great Vacay
Communication with the host was easy with quick.l responses. The house had everything we needed and provided the backdrop for a quality family friendly vacation. Location was secluded but close enough to the beach to walk there as a family. We loved the board games available as well as the outdoor fun - horseshoes and putt putt. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Aargh House! It was a quick walk to the beach and very close to a boat ramp for our fishing excursions. The house was great; comfortable rooms, cold ac, and an awesome back deck that we spent a lot of time on! Highly recommended!!

Perfection
My husband and I have been staying on the island for a few years now. We have done a few different houses and this is officially our favorite. The house was open and airy which was so welcoming. The amount of privacy the lot offers is honestly the best we have seen on the island. We were able to enjoy our days on the beach with the convenience of the shortcut through the grove of trees. Then we were able to come back at night and still play bags or ladder golf outdoors without fear of interrupting our neighbors. The kitchen was spacious and make cooking large meals for our group extremely easy. I was able to message with the host and they even dropped off some stuff to make our stay even better. Of course I also have to mention how cool the Captain Morgan statue in the backyard is. We got many pictures with him and enjoyed putting some golf balls around as well as playing horseshoes.

Wonderful Home
I have been coming to SGI for over 20 years and this was one of the best homes I’ve stayed in! The house was ready and very clean when we arrived and the home owners even contacted us to make sure we were able to get into the house fine. The home was very spacious with a open concept kitchen area perfect for entertaining family and friends. The kitchen has everything you would ever need to cook, grill or even bake your favorite dish. The kids and adults both enjoyed many of the “extras” the backyard had to offer from putt-putt to using the kayak and life jackets that come with the rental. Our whole family had a wonderful vacation in part due to finding such a great place to stay-We will definitely be back!

Great Place
I've stayed on St. George Island many times, and this was probably my favorite house I've ever stayed in. This house is in the center of the island, but still only a couple minutes from the beach on foot. I ran into some weather (it's the risk you take with the Gulf), so I really appreciated the fast Internet and big-screen cable TV (two things I normally wouldn't touch on vacation). It's bigger than it looks in pictures, and the kitchen is well stocked (unlike a lot of places). I'd rent it again in a heartbeat.

Private Family Friendly Location
We LOVED staying at Aargh House for our family vacation. There were amazing views out all of the windows and off all of the decks. The lot is tucked away within the privacy of trees but close enough to walk or ride a bike to so many things, including the beach. We enjoyed lounging in hammocks while our boys played putt putt in the back yard. Communication with the owners was easy with super quick replies. Aargh House provided the setting so great family memories - our epic uno tournament being just one of many. Would definitely stay here again!

Great private location
This house is very private and only a short walk to the beach. Amenities were great, kitchen well equipped and loved the multiple decks for spending alone time. Also close to restaurants and shopping. The stairs to the master bedroom on the third floor are very steep so beware if you have knee problems. And, the mattress is very soft like a marshmallow! Overall a good time for everyone and I appreciate the dog friendliness.
