Walked to the Grocery Store. Nice walk to the Beach. You can rent Beach Chairs, so don't have pack those when you head to the Beach. Enjoyed my stay!

Judy has a beautiful property and is a very gracious hostess. Everything you could possibly need is already stocked for you—just bring your food! The location is very convenient and quiet. The pool and landscaping is truly breathtakingly beautiful!

My spouse and I were looking for an extended weekend getaway without the kids, and we found a gem in Judy’s place. It was the BEST private rental I have ever stayed in. First, the home - outstanding. The pool area was relaxing, inviting, and beautifully landscaped. Make sure you use it at night because the atmosphere is amazing. We ate by the pool, napped by the pool, read by the pool, and cooled off in the pool. It was a great asset to the property. Second, the community- safe, walkable, and quaint. We walked everywhere, no car needed. The walk to the beach was easy. Publix is right around the corner. Shops and restaurants were a block over. Try the gelato place, it’s delicious. Last, Judy- what an amazing host. By far the best I have ever experienced. She was accommodating, welcoming, and informative. I feel like we have gained a lifelong connection and a place we will return to again and again. Thank you for a great couple weekend!

This was a wonder property, relaxing and peaceful. We loved the pool, and when it rained enjoyed the games. It was walking distance to some nice restaurants and we liked the neighborhood feel.

Judy has thought of everything! We used her great beach chairs, cooler, umbrella to take to the beach. The town has a free ride system that made it so convenient to get to the beach with our gear. In the evenings, we walked to local restaurants for dinner. My husband and I had a lovely getaway!

Beautiful, well maintained and comfortable apartment. Judy is great hostess. Convenient to stores, restaurants and the beach. Patio was amazing and spacious. Loved utilizing the free electric Circuit service the town offers. Highly recommend staying at Judy’s if you want a quiet and clean accommodation. We will be back!!

We were a guest at Judy's from 19.11.2023 to 02.12.2023. She was a great hostess and was always at our side with words and deeds. The house, our holiday apartment, the garden and the pool area were lovingly maintained and absolutely clean. The interior design of the holiday apartment exceeded our expectations. Nothing was missing, we slept excellently in the beds, air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly. There are 5.5 stars from us. We can recommend Judy's apartment 100 percent. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The place was immaculate, comfortable, and included everything we could have possibly needed. It was beautifully decorated and felt like a home away from home. We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the patio area was so inviting with gorgeous plants, making it feel like an island escape! The location was perfect - just a 5 to 10 minute walk to the supermarket, a beautiful beach, and wonderful shops and restaurants. Judy is an exceptional host who was always available for anything we needed. It was a perfect getaway and we would love to come back!

WOW. Immaculate, high-end & fully stocked on everything you could think of (and more!). Judy truly has this place fully stocked with any and everything you could want and need. Bring some clothes and make this trip! The neighborhood is beautiful and safe. A 7-10min walk to grocery store, beach and all bars/restaurants. Her pool & patio area is so calming & beautiful. Some of our favorites were Aruba (happy hour, dinner & music), Harat’s (dinner & entertainment), Billy Jack’s Shack (burgers & craft beer) and 101 Ocean (big portions, delicious dinner). We absolutely loved Judy’s place & LBTS and will be back soon!

Ideal location in Lauderdale by the Sea. The property is VERY WELL MAINTAINED, full of beautiful foliage and tasteful decorations. Judy, the owner, is on site and friendly but respectful of your space. She is not intrusive at all. In fact, I found her very welcoming and friendly. The rental unit was probably better than described. It was fully equipped, with more than I needed and very clean. The pool area was wonderful. I floated in the pool for hours, soaking up the sun and enjoying the quiet/peaceful atmosphere. I rented a car, but really didnt need it. Everything you need is with in walking distance. The area is very safe. I loved my stay here, I wish I could have stayed longer, and I hope to return next year. If you're looking for a clean, quiet, well appointed rental you need to consider this rental -- it has all you need, and more!

This was our sefcond stay at this magnificant property. You would be hard pressed to find anything better. Location perfect, beach two block away, every thing walking distance, Great seafood restaurans. Blue moon seafood, Shooters, And theres another one just before the bridge on commercial Blvd. Forgot the name but it's fantastic. Also the host Judy is the best.

THIS PLACE HAS A CURFEW! One of her first rules is no use of the amenities from 10pm - 8am and Judy is friendly and the place is gorgeous...but we had interactions with Judy almost daily; she was netting the pool while we were in it (actually almost hit my face and splashed dirty net water all over me), vacuum in the pool the entire stay and the hot tub doesn't work. Cannot access back 2/3 or the unit as it is hers and she is there. Some privacy blinds but still doesn't feel private. We lost food to bugs (ants and roaches; which she warns you about in her extensive binder of rules) and also lost food to the power being out for nearly 6hrs which she said has been a common occurrence. The pool is nice, the bar is nice, the "unit" is clean (except for the bugs) and has everything you need. Just wasn't for us. I'm 42...I don't need a curfew and especially when we are super quiet and don't disturb anyone. It was said to be community rules but as we were out at night (since we couldn't enjoy the pool) we saw plenty of houses hosting get togethers and swimming with lights and music so not sure who's "community rules" these are.

This place is by far the best we have ever rented. It is truly amazing. Judy goes above and beyond in every possible way to make your stay perfect. The place was immaculate. The location is close to the beach and shopping. It is also a very safe, quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be going back.

My Husband and I love Lauderdale by the Sea. It is a town where you don't need a car and it feels like home (to us). This rental was perfect. The pool area is the highlight and the convenience to beach, shopping and dining. We walked everywhere. So glad that we were able to stay here. Would recommend without reservation.

Judy is obviously an experienced host and it shows in every thoughtful detail. I had planned my trip as a Mother's Day gift to my mom, to connect with friends after moving north 5 years ago. She always loved the Lauderdale by the Sea area so location was important to us. This location was perfect, close to all the great shops and restaurants as well as the beach, yet offered the quiet and privacy that we like, in a beautiful setting. The place was just as described. We knew pulling up to house that we had picked the right spot. The decor was beachy, fun yet tasteful. We could tell that Judy our host had put a lot of time and thought into decorating. Everything was well coordinated and the furniture was current and comfortable. We loved the pair of recliners in the living room and the bed was so comfy! Everything was spotlessly clean which is huge for me. Judy also stocked the kitchen with all the basics...condiments, cooking supplies, dishware and lots of ice!
The outside pool area was just amazing! We loved waking every morning to the sun coming through the large window/ slider and enjoyed morning coffee poolside. The patio surrounding the pool offers many seating/lounging options with large adjustable umbrellas. In the evening the pool lights are spectacular creating the perfect ambiance for relaxing with a cocktail. We also enjoyed playing a game of scrabble at the pool bar and used the grill for an evening BBQ.

This property is just as pictured. Just beautiful and within walking distance to all you need, if you even feel a need to leave. Judy is very responsive and the pride of ownership and the attention to every detail is unmatched in any rental we have ever stayed at in the past. Every inch is beyond clean. We only went to Fort Lauderdale to visit our son who is interning there for the summer. LBTS is now on our return destinations list even after he goes back to school. It was a perfect and relaxing few days away. Thanks Judy!!!!

Judy's home is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation! She has thought of every little detail to make her home spotless, comfortable and homey. You can enjoy the pool and relaxing with a book in her beautiful, quiet outside sitting areas. The furniture in the living room and the bed are so comfortable and the whole house has cute beach decor. We enjoyed talking to Judy and appreciate her warm hospitality. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! We loved the apartment. It was clean and very comfortable. Very easy to get to all the locations in the area. We highly recommend the SeaWatch Restaurant if you are looking for good food but not so much of a party atmosphere.

Such a heart warming welcome when I arrived! It was my 60th birthday and was coming down to Lauderdale By The Seas for some R&R , beach time, friends time, and air show. When I arrived, Judy, the host, (owner) had a Birthday Banner, Birthday Card and Bottle of wine waiting for me. I have stayed here before, so it was like “Coming Hone”. It’s such a cozy beach villa. Always immaculate! The pool is warm and inviting! And Publix Supermarket is just 1/4 mile away. Bars , restaurants and live music just blocks away! Such a lovely place! Will stay here from now on when I come to Fort Lauderdale! Thank you once again Judy for helping make my birthday so special! 💖

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay on Judy’s property. She was a very kind and gracious host and took care of every need before we arrived. We had zero issues during our stay. Short pleasant walk to the beach and the downtown area for great restaurants in great variety. A short 5 minute drive to Ft Lauderdale proper for even more restaurants and entertainment.

What an amazing place. Judy was the most gracious host. The property was fantastic with all the amenities needed to enjoy while staying at Ft Lauderdale by the Sea. If there was a bad thing would be the thread count on the sheets must be really high as found them to soft haha (real world problems). If the wife and I decide to go back to Florida this property will be high on the list.

Me and my husband stayed in Judy`s beach house for 6 nights after our Caribbean cruise and I have to say, that everything said in the past reviews is totally true! The house itself is amazing; so beautiful and cozy and the garden just makes everything perfect. I only wish we could have stayed longer and be able to enjoy all the amenity even more. Judy was a perfect host and communication with her was very smooth. I would definitely recommend Sunnyside Up and Judy as a host for anyone who is planning to have a vacation in LBTS. I hope one day we can also return and stay longer.
