Une retraite parfaite comme une escapade romantique pour un couple ou une famille avec un petit enfant. Asseyez-vous sur le porche et profitez des bateaux qui entrent et sortent de la crique, nagez dans l'eau chaude devant la maison, profitez de la plage privée à quelques maisons ou détendez-vous simplement sur les chaises longues en admirant la vue. The cottage location was ideal: just across the street from the edge of Broad Cove in Onset. Janis, the owner, was very welcoming, gracious and helpful. The cottage was very comfortable for two adults with a small but well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our week in Onset tremendously and would love to come back again to this same cottage.

The cottage was beautiful and it had all we needed for the 3 weeks it was rented. What we liked most is the location and how clean it was. The owner was a delight to deal with. We strongly recommend a vacation there.

The landlord Janis was very accommodating. The cottage is in a great location with a nice view of Broad Cove across the street. It was a very convenient location for kayaking and bicycle riding along the Cape Cod Canal and just a short walk to several great restaurants.

Very well cared for and nicely decorated little cottage in a near perfect location - walking distance to the quaint town and beaches and yet set away from the center so that it is very peaceful and quiet. Owner provides lots of helpful tips and guidelines for getting the most out of your visit and she leaves a very nice welcome bag with assorted treats!

Perfect Waterside Stay for Two
This comfortable little cottage is perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking a laid back waterside experience. Clean and cozy, with all the essentials for a home away from home. Steps from the beach, with peaceful views, in a charming and quiet neighborhood, a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Onset. Janis is the perfect host, providing info, suggestions, and goodies to ensure guests are comfortable. Buzzards Bay is an excellent location from which to explore the Cape!

Good shower pressure. Be aware that this is a very small bathroom, grandson observed that a bodybuilder family friend would not be able to enter or use comfortably. Walkable to restaurants, post office, beaches. Food pricing reasonable.
Owner does have larger property available, so inquire. Janice is wonderful!!

Janice was a wonderful host. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. Great for one person, a couple, or a small family.
The location was great, a quite street but walking distance of all that OnsetVillage has to offer. A surprise bonus was a gift bag filled with local treats.

A wonderful experience. Janice was so kind and cleaned the property so well before we arrived. The town is nice and quiet, and the beaches nearby are nice! The best part is it’s right at the entrance to cape cod, so there isn’t much traffic in or out.

Cottage on Broad Cove
We had a wonderful vacation at this adorable little cottage which is perfect for two. Janis was a fabulous hostess who kindly answered all of our questions and provided great suggestions for our stay. When we arrived, the cottage was spotlessly clean and welcoming. It is beautifully decorated and stocked with all of the essentials (bathroom and bedroom linens as well as basic kitchen appliances, dishes, and utensils). We had a beautiful (and rather unexpected) gift bag waiting for us on arrival which included a gorgeous canvas bag, bottle of wine, cranberry juice, Cape Cod potato chips, Goldfish, local milk chocolates, dark-chocolate covered cranberries, an embroidered dish towel, beach-themed napkins and paper plates, and a card with a welcome message from Janis. The location of the cottage was perfect for our needs being close to local boat ramps, beaches, and restaurants. All around, a perfect stay!

Relaxing vacation near the water
The cottage is in amazing condition just as advertised in a very quiet place within a short walk to the restaurants and shops of the Onset village center. The property is spotlessly clean with a modern bathroom and a new mattress. The screened porch overlooking the bay was priceless to have. Janis is a wonderful host caring for her guests and providing everything that one could need for a beach vacation. Special thanks for the gift bag!

Perfect adorable beach cottage!
Janis's cottage is the perfect 'tiny house'....I needed to get away, while I 'work from home', and this was the perfect place for it! Breakfast and dinner on the screen porch, with a gorgeous ocean breeze every night. I took walks on the beach, and sat on the small private beach just a few doors down...Janis is lovely, and I completely appreciated her welcome gift bag as well.

Delightful cottage in a quiet, idyllic spot.
My mother and brother (visiting from the UK) rented this charming cottage in a quiet spot in Onset. Still close enough to the restaurants, shops, main beach and Shell Point. Situated with a water view and close to a small beach just steps away, this is a very nice, quiet spot for relaxing. The cottage is absolutely spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a short stay. The screened in sunroom is shaded nicely so you can still sit outside on those very hot days. The heat and air conditioning unit worked very well and is easy to use. Janis, the owner is a lovely lady and does everything she can to make your stay just perfect, she even had a lovely welcome basket ready for their arrival, with gifts from the local area, coffee, napkins, taffy etc. A nice touch. We highly recommend this property for your Onset vacation and we will certainly rent from Janis again.

Perfect Get Jaway for two
The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. The bed was comfortable as was the entire cottage. We loved the porch for a cup of coffee in the morning or a game of cribbage in the evening. Sunsets were lovely over the cove. It was a very relaxing week which was just what we were looking for. Thank you Janis

The cottage is so cute and very clean! Janis was extremely welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely gift bag waiting for us, such a pleasant surprise. We love Onset and this was a great place for the two of us to stay. A beach across the street, lovely screened in porch, great views of the water. Would stay in this cottage again. We had a great time.

Great place for a relaxing vacation
Very nice little cottage in a great location. The cottage was clean, private, and had all the comforts of home. The location, the neighbors, the view, and all of the activities near the cottage (beaches, swimming, biking, fishing, waterpark, etc…) made it a perfect vacation place for our small family.

The perfect escape
My girl and I wanted to get away from the fast paced lifestyle of Boston for a short time. We were intrigued by the look of the cottage. We were more than pleasantly surprised upon arrival. It is quaint, clean and situated in a very quiet area right across from the beach. We were welcomed with a gift bag. The owner was sweet, pleasant and very helpful. If you are considering a quiet, peaceful “escape”, this is it! It is local to many attractions, including a 3 hr boat cruise that we enjoyed very much. My car also enjoyed a vacation. Just about everything is within walking distance. Food shopping was a 5 minute ride. We loved it and will treasure the memories and would not hesitate to rent again.

Wonderful experience.
We enjoyed the petite cottage very much. The decor was beautifully done and the cottage was imaculate. Everything you could possibly need was there. We loved sitting on the screened porch looking at the boats in the cove. The beach was a short walk away and was easily accessible without stairs. My daughter absolutely loved it.

Charming and perfect in every way!
Janis's cottage is fantastic! Direct access to the beach - right outside your front door. Easy to kayak, go tubing and go boating...or just lounge! The water is definitely warmer than anywhere else this time of year that you just can't resist. Janis makes sure you have everything - including a beach bag full of lovely essentials and goodies! She is an absolutely lovely woman who you know just cares so much about your comfort! She'll answer your questions and offer tips about everything. Janis's neighborhood is charming and welcoming - everyone we met made us feel welcome! The kitchen has everything you need and everything is so clean :) The yard is beautiful and full of comfortable chairs, the firepit and BBQ are ready to go! We had a wonderful wonderful time and will definitely return another time! Thank you lovely Janis! ♥♥♥

Just What We Needed
This little house was perfect for my daughter and I. It is very clean. Maybe the cleanest rental I have every stayed in.
The hostess was so friendly and informative. The location is great. The little private beach area is close and very clean. For anyone looking for a location for the Head of the Bay horse show at GFF, it is a great location. Very convenient. Additionally, an easy walk over to Onset Village.

Perfect
Mike and I spent an absolutely beautiful week in this cottage for the first time this past summer. The property is very well maintained, and the cottage is airy, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The location couldn't be better being a 30 second walk from the cove, and no more than 20 minutes to pretty much everything in the village. We hope to back soon to this little bit of paradise.

Perfect cottage for our summer stay
My husband, 7 month old daughter, and I had the pleasure of spending 8 weeks at this cottage during the summer of 2015. From the moment we arrived, Janice (the owner) made it feel like home and she continued to do so throughout our stay. She repeatedly went out of her way to help us feel welcome and comfortable in charming Onset. The cottage itself is cozy...a perfect size for our small family. We loved spending mornings and evenings in the lovely screen porch and the huge shared lawn was a perfect place to spend our lazy afternoons. The private beach on the street was perfect for us and our family's needs. The neighborhood was great for taking walks and the small town has much to offer--a larger public beach, weekly live music, delicious restaurants, a bar, and ice cream shop, and more. As a Massachusetts resident, I know how "cape traffic" can be and we LOVED that Onset allowed us to enjoy all that the Cape has to offer without dealing with it every day--that being said, this cottage is close enough to make a trip to any of the wonderful cape towns a pleasant day trip! This cottage was clean and well-maintained and it is clear that Janice takes pride in keeping her properties in top condition. We hope that we are able to return to Onset for another vacation in the future and will definitely look to rent from Janice again!

Amazing!
This cottage was exactly what we needed. We booked the cottage along with the “big house”, mom and dad stayed in the cottage while the kids and grand-kids (9) stayed in the big house. We found the cottage to be clean, well prepared and comfortable. This was our third year staying in Onset, we absolutely love the village and found this cottage on the cove to be the most comfortable. The layout and ground level (no stairs) were perfect for my handicapped father. The quietness of the location and its location to the private beach (100 yards) was perfect. Also it was a quick walk to the large public beach and town center. Janis was an incredible owner, she made the process and our stay incredible. We can’t wait to get back to this house next year!
