Une oasis rare qui rappelle les villes balnéaires cachées parsemées sur la côte rustique du nord-est.
BELA est niché dans une communauté décontractée de déchiqueteurs surplombant une plage prête à l'emploi et non découverte sur la baie du Delaware. L'isolement est facilement abandonné en se rendant dans un certain nombre de villes festives, de vignobles primés, de brasseries émergentes ou de villes balnéaires festives; tous les 10-30 minutes.
La proximité de la plage est imbattable. C'est à seulement 50 pieds! Il est si proche que vous pouvez facilement garder un œil sur tout le monde, qu'ils se prélassent dans l'eau, nagent, construisent des châteaux de sable, chassent les crabes, pêchent ou prennent des bains de soleil au troisième étage.
Fun clé en main! Nous donnons accès à certains vélos, chaises, SUP, kayaks, radeaux et autres jouets et équipements de plage assortis. Même des engins de pêche.
Les multiples niveaux et les diverses zones de conversation intérieures et extérieures de BELA en font une maison de vacances idéale, en particulier pour les groupes. Nous avons 3 chambres avec salles de bain complètes (King, Queen, 2 lits jumeaux qui sont souvent rapprochés), 1 chambre avec un lit de repos et le troisième étage a des futons et un canapé-lit.
Le quartier est confortablement actif; presque exclusivement peuplé de familles. Les rues sont résidentielles et lentes, sauf pour les amateurs de plage transportant leurs bateaux / kayaks / planches et les familles.
Il y a quelques restaurants à quelques minutes à pied / à vélo, les plus célèbres étant la cabane de plage Harpoon Henry's, On the Rocks et 5 West, et la zone la plus active du Cap May victorien est à 10 minutes en voiture / taxi.

Great house for a family getaway ! Lots of room for everyone. The garage is filled with fun, bikes, tubes, kayaks, ect. While you dont have the bigger waves in the water as you do on the ocean side, you can kayak
or float around in the water for hours if you want to. It worked very well for the younger children with us.

We could not have been happier staying at Beautiful Bela! The house is clean, roomy and literally on the beach. We brought our adult children and everyone had an incredible time. We were able to enjoy family time with out being in each others way. The house was well equipped with bicycles, beach chairs, and even toys. There were several outdoor areas to relax that were shady at different times of the day if you were taking a beach day off. We also enjoyed the local winery and walking to Harpoons. Our favorite time was watching the incredible sunsets from the top floor covered deck. Looking forward to next year!!!

This home was just what we were looking for… FUN! First trip to Cape May and we found this house Beachy, clean, casual and well appointed. The kitchen was very well stocked, bay beach very accessible and the Bikes & BeachToys were such an added bonus. Property manager was very responsive. Bathrooms are situated a bit strangely - but really wasn’t an issue for us. Back door lock is difficult to lock & unlock but we reported this issue. Would definitely rent this property again!

Really wonderful
Lovely house. Perfect for sunsets. Easy access to beach. Host was very responsive and house came with lots of fun extras- games, grill, kayaks, bikes. Would gladly stay again.

Fantastic house in ideal family location
This place is incredible! Right on the bay in a quiet area that is perfect for families with small children. Owner is fabulous and property in excellent shape. Went there for 2 summers and hope for many more.

We have been to many Jersey shore rentals and this one is BY FAR the best we have ever stayed in. The owners were very responsive when we had questions during our stay. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back next year. I will be dreaming of sitting on the roof top deck and walking the beach with my family every day until next summer.....thank you!!

One of a kind!
Fabulous home, fabulous views--everything you need (roof top deck, kayaks, paddle board, life jackets, beach chairs, umbrellas, outdoor shower, TVs, sound system etc). We have been to many Jersey shore rentals and this one is BY FAR the best we have ever stayed in. The owners were very responsive when we had questions during our stay. An incredible place in a fabulous location
The house, the location, the amenities—everything was perfect! The beach is perfect for a family with small children (and for those who prefer to stay away from crowds and noise). My only complaint is that I couldn’t spend the entire summer here.

This beautiful well equiped home will meet any family expectations that are looking to relax and enjoy an easy vacation. This was the perfect place for my family and I. It was such a relaxing and peaceful spot. We road our bikes almost every morning along the water. The beach was so close, with more than enough beach equitment supplied by the home. His home was extremely clean and comfortable! I would definitely come back again!

What a wonderful week, great house, great location and great owners. The third floor deck is spectacular, great views day and sunset, retractable awning made sitting out so comfortable-a gem!!

Best of both Worlds
This well kept home has all the amenities for a wonderful family vacation. Bike rides in the am along the scenic shore. Kayaking on the bay with many friendly people.Tubes and toys for the young ones to enjoy. Short drives to Cape May for ocean fun, dinning and shopping. Wildwood Boardwalk for that great feeling of being at the " Jersey Shore " All this and excellent owners and most importantly, COMFORTABLE BEDS! The sunsets from the top floor open deck make for a memorable vacation.

Great Location
Owners description and pictures on VRBO are accurate. Owners are excellent to deal with and communication always prompt. Bela is in very good condition and easily handles 10 people. The daily dolphin sightings offshore in front of the house were a highlight for all. We liked the location away from the bustling crowd, yet it is an easy excursion to Cape May. We would recommend Bela.

A dream house!
We were seven to stay at Bela for a week: four adults, two young children and one baby. We enjoyed our best family vacation ever!
The villa is beautiful, very spacious, allowing everybody to have a certain privacy. Even when it was raining, the house was big and nice enough to allow us to keep enjoying our vacations. There is a nice touch of luxury, especially at the third floor where we were able to enjoy the extraordinary view of the beach. Being at only a few meters of the water is also something definitively priceless. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed to enjoy the beach (sun umbrellas, toys for kids...).
The place is at a short drive of most attraction, including the city of Cape May. All service were easily accessible by car or bicycle.
The beach is, according to me, much more beautiful than most commercial beaches like the ones in Cape May or Wildwood. It is smaller, but more «natural» and never crowded. A big advantage for families with young children: no big waves in the water, so much safer.
We did a lot a research in the area to find the ideal cottage... Some other cottages with a similar size were available in Cape May and were a little less expensive... However, the additionnal 300$ we payed for Bela was definitely worth it. Our vacations would not have been the same elsewhere!

Family Perfect Getaway!
My family had such a wonderful time, and so many precious memories! The house is beautiful, and so close to the beach. It was perfect for the 15 month old and 4 yr old, who could easily go back and forth to the house and beach. Our 76 year old aunt loved being able to easily walk to the beach, and return to the house to sit outside in the backyard. All of us loved the roof deck, where we would watch the magnificent sunset, and isten to classical music and sip wine, pure heaven!
The home is pleasing, wonderfully equipped, and so spacious that all of us could find our own little niches when needed. We will definitely return, and hopefully year after year!

Spokesperson for a well-rested family
Our family traveled from 3 countries to spend a week at BELA celebrating a 70th birthday! The listing does not do BELA justice, as we were all pleasantly surprised at the generous open plan accommodations and amenities (full laundry facilities, Keurig coffee maker, house-wide speakers with iPod control, lovely gardens, multiple outdoor seating areas, large refrigerator and pantry, etc.). The outdoor shower was helpful, and well-used to complement only having 2 showers in the house. The house is decorated tastefully throughout. Communication with the owners was excellent from Day 1 of our planning. They responded quickly to an email informing them of a broken awning upon our arrival. Although disappointed to do without, we understood this was not the owners' fault. The kayaks, bikes and shuffleboard certainly were a highlight for all residents! We Spent the majority of our week right on the almost-private beach mere steps from the door, but did venture into Cape May for yummy dinners at The Blue Pig and Lucky Bones Backwater Grill (both excellent), as well as a carriage ride and a bit of shopping! We would definitely recommend BELA to anyone seeking a beautiful week in Cape May!

It was a great escape
We had a multi-family vacation at the house and were completely satisfied. Being away from the crowds and busy streets allowed us to spend more time with each other and the beach. Being across the street from the Beach made it easy for us to watch over everyone while prepping meals and doing non-beach things like croquet, grilling and reading. The private beach is wonderful for drinking and chilling without too many rules.

Exactly what I needed!
I arrived at BELA with my husband and two small children over the holiday break for a little getaway. From the minute I pulled in the driveway, I felt at home. The house is spacious, clean, and family friendly. Everything you could possible need is there! The unobstructed, panaoramic view is better than anything I could have imagined. The first floor open floor plan is perfect for families to gather at the end of a beautiful beach day for happy hour and family dinners! The upstairs outdoor patio is the perfect spot to catch a sunset.
I can't wait to go back in the summer, the benefits of being so close to the beach is priceless for people with small children!

What a beautiful property at a great location right on the beach-- exactly as described! Beautiful panoramic views of the bay including great west coast style sunsets. (sun sets over the water)
Just a few steps to a huge, wide-open beach without the crowds and rules on the ocean side. Quiet compared to the busy ocean side properties yet a convenient, short drive to all of the area attractions in Cape May, restaurants, wineries, etc.
When it's warm, we're looking forward to renting again and enjoying the easy access to the water... swimming, paddle surfing, kite surfing, etc...
There's tons of room inside and has all of the amenities of home... great for cooking and entertaining. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy everything Cape May has to offer, wants to avoid the crazy beach crowds but wants a spectacular water front view.
