We had a wonderful stay this past week; the house was just as described and everything we had hoped for -- clean, very comfortable, and in a terrific location...within walking distance of a very nice beach, close to downtown Chatham, and in a great spot for exploring other areas of Cape Cod! The hosts, Diane and Peter, were very responsive to any questions we had both before we arrived and during our stay, and very thoughtfully left us a welcome note along with some snacks and a bottle of wine, They live across the street from the property, so we also had the chance to meet them and had a very nice talk with them. I highly recommend this rental and plan to return!

We had an issue and it was resolved immediately as the owners live across the street. Cottage is roomy and has all the amenities. I took off a star because it was a bit dusty and could use a thorough cleaning. It was fine for my friend but I’m a bit of a clean freak. We enjoyed our visit and would rent again.

The property was perfect for our extended stay and we really appreciated the up to date and very well-stocked kitchen. Having a small public beach within walking distance was also very nice and we appreciated having Chatham and Harwichport equally accessible. You have to drive (or bike) into downtown Chatham, but parking was never a problem and it's very walkable once you are there.

Peter and Diane were wonderful hosts. House was in a great location, walking distance to the beach, driving distance from some delicious restaurants and minutes away from downtown. Highly recommend! We will be back!

Great, clean house in a wonderful area of Chatham. We really enjoyed our time on the Cape!

The home was perfect in many ways. It was very clean and very well stocked. The neighborhood area is great for walking and biking. The beach is an easy walk and has great views of the conservation land.

We had a excellent time staying here. It was very clean and spacious. It was a great location for what we were looking for. short distance to town and forest beach and Harding beach. My daughter also loved the little library that is on property she would check every day to see if someone took the books she put in.

We loved our vacation week. House was very comfortable and close to everything.

We spent the week of June 26-July 3 at Peter and Diane’s house in Chatham, MA and had a wonderful stay. The house was exactly what we expected and more. The central air kept us cool on some really hot days and the Weber grille on the deck was convenient when we wanted dinner in for a night. Forest Beach is within walking distance of the house. There are also several restaurants near by (the Talkative Pig is recommended!). You can bike from the house to the Rail Trail, though we didn’t with our 5 and 7 year olds because Rte 28 can get busy. However, it’s about a 2 minute drive to the parking area for the Rail Trail. Peter and Diane were very nice and are right across the road if anything should arise.

Peter and Diane were very welcoming and kind. The house is pretty and clean and was stocked with everything a family would need. We felt that we were family with them. God Bless!!!

Decided at the last minute to get away with the kids after this crazy year. We found this place available for the time we wanted. Everything has been wonderful since we arrived. There was a lovely welcome basket as well as a personal note from the owners. Place is clean and bright with all the amenities that you need. Good location to go west, north or east. Beach is right down the road with different restaurants/food nearby. Streets are safe and quiet enough for the kids to play and bike. We felt right at home upon arrival. Diane and Peter are LOVELY people! They are right across the street if you need anything. We loved it so much that we asked to extend it 1 more day. Since it was off-season, they were able to. We were sad to leave but will look forward to coming back again. This was our first Cape get-away and it didn't disappoint. We were so fortunate to experience it with Diane and Peter.

both the property and owners worked well together as they both were "bright and cheery"___even though i locked us out and fouled up the tv, they accomodated the problems with a smile!! As douglas MacArthur once said "I shall return"!!

This property is exactly as described: clean, fully stocked, walking distance to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Peter and Diane were extremely hospitable and accommodating. It was a perfect location for our family of 5 with young children (ages 5-9). We would definitely recommend!

Diane and Peter are the perfect host. Very timely with responding to messages. The house is great. It was clean, nicely decorated and pretty stocked. I would recommend this property to future Chatham visitors.

Honestly, can't find anything I can complain about here. Everything is as advertised, but what is NOT advertised is the ease of interaction with the owners! They were fantastic. They are very good at the communication aspects of renting, thinking ahead and responding to questions; both before and during our visit. Their home is spacious and comforting. Everyone especially liked the bundle of goodies left on the kitchen counter! (At least, I hope those were for us!) All in our group (not me) enjoy coffee and there is an area set up in the dining room that caters to that particular addiction. Also, their website mentions recent renovations and it is a home that looks like it had just been built! The day of our arrival, we had spent several hours driving through drenching rain and high winds. It was a very uninviting start to our mini vacation. But, once we got there and went inside, all that just faded away. It was nice to get out of the car and get situated in a warm and cozy atmosphere. There were two aspects of our stay on which everyone commented. First, the living room was such a great gathering place for conversation. We were traveling with friends we get to see but once a year and just sitting around catching up was great and THAT was the place to do it! Second, this house was located in an advantageous spot, so it was a relatively short drive to get out to Provincetown/Truro area and was it a quick ride to get to the Hyannis area. Speaking personally, I really appreciated saving a good chunk of money, because there was NO cleaning fee. The people before us were expected to clean and we arrived to a CLEAN house! Hopefully, the people who followed us found the same. We have stayed at many vrbo rentals over the years and this experience was certainly one of the most enjoyable. We highly recommend this rental.

My girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well equipped. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. We appreciated the basket of treats we found when we arrived. The house is located in a very nice area and was easy to get to. We highly recommend this house and would certainly stay there again.

This is a beautiful, well-equipped, very centrally located vacation home. Everything that our family of four needed was available in the home and/or attached garage...beach chairs were a real bonus, as the weather was spectacular at the end of September!! We loved being so close to the beach and nature preserve. Comfortable beds, and the house has a very nice layout. We loved having two common living spaces, wine/wet bar, and the deck!! Communication with the owners was great, and check in and out was a breeze. House is immaculate, and the attention to detail for guests was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this vacation rental.

This was a Girls Getaway so we had room to spread out. Upon arrival a bottle of wine and a Goody Basket were appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved Chatham ! Plenty of restaurant options. Easy access for day trips. FYI.... bath soap and Kleenex were not provided. We were expected to clean the house, wash towels and sheets and remake the beds before we checked out.

The house is lovely Very comfortable and clean. Fabulous kitchen with everything you might need Great location and the owners Peter and Diane were always responsive to any questions. They were also very helpful with suggestions for nearby activities and dinning. My family enjoyed a wonderful vacation we would love to spend another vacation there and have raved to all our friends about this fabulous house

My husband and I traveled with our daughter and her two children, our son and two of his friends. The house was immaculate and provided the space and supplies we needed upon arrival. The owners provided a playpen for our use which came in handy. They also welcomed us with a welcome basket which we thought was very nice. Thinking that I was going to pack everything, my husband forgot to pack his clothes and camera. I called the owner and he boxed and mailed his belongings to us. Highly recommend this rental.

The house was great for us. The neighborhood is also nice. Cleaning is based on the honor system so keep this is mind. Owners were very nice and helpful

Hosts were very helpful, and the location is as described, a short walk from the beach, two restaurants nearby, and a short drive to the center of Chatham. Property is well equipped and comfortably sleeps six. Overall a great location.

Great location, walking distance to the beach and nature preserve. Short drive to everything you need. Well equipped, modern and spotlessly clean. I wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back in the future.

My friend and I were very impressed with this immaculate house. We had everything we could possibly want. Pleasant walk to lovely Forest Beach. Close to town and lots of good restaurants.

Had a wonderful stay in August, the owners were so accommodating and the house was gorgeous - warm and welcoming. The whole house was tastefully decorated and everything was new and in perfect working order. My family was able to take a short walk down to the end of the road to enjoy the beach. Town was only a couple miles away with great shops and restaurants. Will definitely be back!
