We had a wonderful time at this lovely comfortable house! Very clean, very well stocked kitchen, quiet street, loved being just a few steps from the beach. Easy check in/check out and communication with the host. Great selection of books! :) Only comment is that it wasn't totally clear to us from the listing that we needed to bring our own sheets and towels, we figured that out from reading someone else's review. Would definitely stay here again!!

What a cozy and charming beach house! Location was ideal and super convenient. Your home had everything our family needed for the week…fully stocked kitchen, games and movies for the kids! What more could we ask for? Thank you for sharing your home with our family.

The host was helpful and made the process easy. Overall the house is fine and the location is great.
The negative aspects were that it was not clearly stated in the listing that no sheets and towels were provided. It was also a bit deceiving about the bedrooms.
There are only 2 real bedrooms. The third room is an attic with slanted ceiling. It is not a functional space. Better photos to indicate this will help create a more realistic idea for renters.

This house was perfectly located for our wants/needs. The house is a little dated and could use some updating. The layout of the house was comfortable- the kids did have to duck in the upstairs room to keep from hitting their heads. The beds were quite comfortable. If you’re looking for a house close to the beach this is a great location with a short easy walk to the N 6th beach access.

Had a great visit for a quiet beach vacation. Kids had a blast at the beach and riding bikes on the side streets. Close to many beach towns for boardwalks and other non-beach activities. House is exactly as shown and worked great for our family. Thank you for sharing your home!

The house was really cute and quintessential beach bungalow! It was also surprisingly spacious. Loved it! Well stocked and really clean. The outside area was great to sit and relax after a day at the beach. In the past we have rented through Sandcastle Realty but they messed up our reservation and didn’t tell us until everything was rented. (I don’t recommend, they basically said too bad. Also their property was never as clean as this one.) We were able to find this gem and save our family vacation. We would definitely stay again! Felt like home.

Perfect stay!
We had a wonderful time! Just a 2 minute walk to the beach—with lifeguards and not too crowded at all. The house was perfect for the 7 of us. Very well-supplied kitchen with plenty of spices, pots and pans, etc. None of us wanted to leave! Highly recommend!!

This house had plenty of room for three couple at any given time. Kitchen is well-stocked and the proximity to the beach was ideal. We would recommend this spot for anyone.

Great Stay!
Very comfortable house! Super short walk to beach. 15-20 minute walk to Bethany restaurants & boardwalk. Stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. The outdoor eating area with string lights was nice in the evening. We brought bikes but you can easily rent in Bethany for nice easy ride to Fenwick or farther.

Great. Everything we expected. Location. Parking was never a problem. The two rooms for kids and adults to watch movies after being on the beach All day ☺️!! We never went out to eat. Great time!

Three different ways to make coffee! Lots of pans, utensils, spices, even a crock pot. Comfortable beds and a Florida room that made catching up on our reading a breeze. We enjoyed our time at Gilligan's Isle. The furniture in the sun room was a little run down, but the house was clean and accommodated us very well. Great proximity to the beach!

Quiet and peaceful location.
The initial inquiry was answered immediately, as well as problems we had with the wifi upon check in. A quiet and peaceful location, yet steps from the beach. We enjoyed the pet friendly and well appointed home. Perfect for families and teleworking!

Diamond In The Rough
A comfortable but slightly dated house on the inside, with an unpleasant tangle of plants and weeds on the outside. Good air conditioning. Fickle WiFi but re-setting it always worked.
Comfortably sleeps 8; 10 would be pushing it with 2 small bathrooms. Wonderful outdoor shower, a great option for dog lovers, and best of all, GREAT location in South Bethany.

We really enjoyed this house - great location, plenty of room, low stress vibe. We were able to bring our dogs which was so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

Our Bethany Stay
This house fit our family to a tee! It was the perfect size for the 4 of us and our 4 legged friend too, with just a short walk to the beach. Upon our arrival, the house was already cooling down with AC which made unpacking so much better! The beds were all comfy and my husband especially liked the outdoor shower. Super cozy house, we really enjoyed our stay!

Cozy cottage so close to the beach
Great location at only 4 houses from the beach. Perfect fit for our family of 6 plus a friend, but not many more adults would fit. Appliances all worked well; washer-dryer, dishwasher, stove, coffee maker and fridge. Air conditioning kept it nice and cool even on the hottest days. Beds were comfortable. Nice new TV and Dish satellite. We spent 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. Loved the outdoor shower after a sandy day on the beach. Loved relaxing on the front deck for happy hour. If we were to spend longer amounts of time there however we would make some improvements. The lighting could be stronger, it was dimly lit, but that added to the cozy feel. Fridge could be bigger so we wouldn’t need to buy the mini sizes and shop so often. Reorganization of the kitchen and some better kitchen tools would improve efficiency. WiFi router could use an upgrade but connection was there or quickly returned. The upstairs shower stall is small, but we were glad that it was up there. All in all a wonderful vacation functional and cozy. We will definitely return. Thanks.

Had an awesome week! Was the perfect house for our family; had everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. The location was outstanding, with only a 3 minute walk to the beach. What more could you want?! Looking forward to returning next year.

Perfect beach house!
Our family had a wonderful, relaxing vacation at this perfectly located house. The property is more spacious than it looks in the pictures with bonus features such as an outdoor shower, clothesline for towels and suits, a well stocked kitchen, and so many great books and movies. Our family of 7 plus our labrador fit comfortably. The proximity to the beach is amazing and the dog beach at Fenwick state Park is under a mile away. We enjoyed biking into the town for morning donuts and walking along the beach to the boardwalk on the one overcast day. The front and back decks provided comfy spots to cool down after a run or read after a day on the beach. The quiet, family friendly environment was perfect for our week away! Thank you!

We enjoyed our extended stay in South Bethany at Gilligan’s Isle. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. Proximity to beach is great. The house is older but comfortable and we so appreciated the fact we could bring our dogs along!

Convenient to the beach and you don't have to cross the highway the unit was well equipped with everything you need Easy access to shopping restaurants and attractions in a quaint neighborhood feels a lot like being in the Outer Banks of North Carolina my only suggestion is that you get some blackout curtains for the bedroom it's a little tough to sleep past 730

Perfect beach weekend
I stayed at this property for Memorial Day weekend and it was surprisingly peaceful! The beachfront was moments away and not at all crowded. The property itself was simple but extremely comfortable and there was enough space for my 8 person family to have privacy. Bells and whistles aren't needed at the beach!
We didn't have any rainy days but there were hundreds of DVDs if we were stuck inside. Kitchen was clean and updated. The beds were also very comfortable!
What more can one ask for?! How much longer until next summer? :)

Bethany Vacation
We had a wonderful time in Bethany...our first trip there...and were generally happy with the house. It was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. There was adequate room for the 9 of us. Of course, the proximity to the beach was ideal, even though the weather did not always cooperate! The street parking passes definitely came in handy! We grilled one night but had to use the portable grill my son brought; the propane tank on the home grill was full but the heat didn't seem to be coming up as it should. Overall, we were very pleased with our accommodations. Thank you, Chuck!

A+ family vacation
The house was excellent - very clean and comfortable.Every thing was in excellent working order. The beds were nice and the furniture well-kept. It easily fit all of us when our kids and siblings came to visit. Plus, it was a very short walk right to the beach. The only improvements suggested are to the outside. There were a lot of weeds and vines under and around the house. A little landscaping would go a long way. This place is definitely on our list to for next year!

Awesome Location
This house is a short walk to the beach. 1 mile to Bethany boardwalk area.
It has air conditioning upstairs. There is a king and two queens upstairs in the 2 bedrooms. On the pictures you can't see the two queen room. The outside room with the futons is a nice space for kids.
The outside of the house is worse than the picture. The outside is over run by weeds and the porch railing is falling off. The front porch is not protected from rain so everything on the outside of the house will get wet. The grill area is not covered either. The grill is in decent shape.
The bathrooms are original and not very nice. You will notice there are no pictures of the bathrooms. Two bathrooms for 10 people is not enough.
We enjoyed being close to town and the beach but would not stay here again.
