We had a death in our family & needed a place to accommodate our family & pets. The host was more than accommodating. The kindness was more than appreciated. I highly recommend staying here if you are visti ng the area.

My family and I loved this house. It was cozy,very nicely furnished and the views of the lake and surrounding area were beautiful. We sat outside and just enjoyed watching the sunsets and the beautiful fall foliage. The surrounding area was quiet and there are so many great places to eat nearby like the Sunshine Family restaurant and Karen’s Cafe. You will love this place if you’re looking for a quiet and cozy retreat.

Perfect! Beautiful lake setting. Lovely bedrooms and the mattresses were great!! Any question was quickly answered. I will stay here again only longer next time!!

We stayed for a week at Jody’s beautiful home right on the lake. You seriously can’t get any closer! As soon as we walked in, it smelled so clean and airy. The two full bathrooms are newly renovated and immaculate! The showers are both so nice—water pressure was refreshing. Fully stocked and newly renovated kitchen. Everything is new with a retro classic design to keep the feel of an older home. This house has a lot of character, from the floor to ceiling windows, to the steampunk lighting on the columns. Jody has a green thumb, so you’ll see her huge plants inside her home, as well as her beautiful flowers out on the deck. Tastefully done. The deck is HUGE! We had family come by for a BBQ. There is a gigantic Sunsetter motorized awning to keep half the deck (by the table area) in the shade, while your other guests can sit out and get some sun. Impressive!! We were outside most of the time! But it’s just as good inside! Every single bed is super comfortable, especially the master bedroom. She has a classic decor, with stained glass Tiffany lamps — so beautiful and cozy that you’ll fall right to sleep. We had a day of rain that looked SO amazing! I wish I could add photos because her pics don’t do this house justice. The house is so clean, and I’m super sensitive to any weird smells or a lack of cleanliness - this passed the white glove test! We are booking for next year! Thank you Jody for sharing your beautiful home with us. We are so grateful!

We loved this house! It’s a great spot on greenwood lake. Very easy to find. We rented a boat and had a great few days. And so did the dog!

We had such a great time at this lakefront property. The new bathroom is gorgeous! What a pretty shower. We sat out on several levels of decking to enjoy morning coffee, bird watch and visit with our family. There is a huge outdoor table for 10 people and also a large indoor table. We did have to carefully coordinate parking because I have a pickup truck which would stick out into the narrow road, so I had to parallel park it (taking up 2 of the 3 spaces) For us, we had to have one family member park in the village temporarily. Do NOT park anywhere but the stone area designated for this property. Clearly it has been an issue for the neighbors and they will be upset. Someone pulled up to talk to my parents and they came out upset thinking it was someone in our party which it was not. Greenwood Lake is so much fun. This house was perfect for my elderly parents, daughter, brother and sister. All bedrooms are upstairs which we were a little afraid about with an 80 and 81 year old but the railing was very sturdy and there was a beautiful full bathroom downstairs which everyone enjoyed very much so trips up and down the stairs were just planned out for the seniors. The really nice part is that in Greenwood Lake, often the property is also very hilly, but this property is not. You enter at road level and you do not have to climb stairs to enjoy the lake or the lovely gardens.

We are regular Vrbo travelers and always consider Jody's property as one of our favorites. The house is clean and comfortable, the location is fantastic and the price is very reasonable when compared to other rentals in the area. We highly recommend this wonderful home and will be back again next year. Thank you!

This was our 4th stay at the Lake house and definitely not our last. The house is everything we wish for when we think about taking time off from the city. It is specious enough and equipped with everything you need. Very clean and the views are the cherry on top. The kids and us are always happy to come back. We LOVE this place! Thank you Jody.

Fabulous location right on the lake. Even though it was in January it was still very enjoyable. Quiet neighborhood tucked back by the lake. Definitely would be a great summer rental. Very clean and well kept accommodations. Carolyn

Excellent location on Greenwood Lake. Very close to several good parks for hiking with the dogs. Supermarkets and other stores are only 10-15 minutes away. Yard is enclosed except for the water. I was able to make an enclosure to allow the dogs outside without any worry of them going in the water. Also, when locking the door you need to pull the handle towards you as you press the lock button. Other than that we had a fantastic stay.

Beautiful location for a family gathering. Very clean, beautiful view, roomy, conveniently located near all attractions and amenities. My family just loved it. The house was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed for a fabulous Christmas gathering. Our host responded to questions almost immediately. The lake views were breathtaking and I hope to rent again during the summer months. The fireplace was just the perfect touch.

Jody’s property was exactly what we were looking for. The location was gorgeous, the home was spacious and cozy, and she gave Amazing recommendations on where to eat in the area. We had a fantastic time & I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

The beauty of Greenwood Lake and the fall colors were awesome! The house has a perfect view and was a great place to stay for our fall hiking adventures! The description was accurate and we had an awesome trip!

Very nice house in a perfect location on the lake. The house was very well maintained and clean. The furniture and the outdoor space were great. The view of the lake from inside couldn't get any better, whether from the living room sofas or from the upstairs bedroom windows. We were there in October, but can imagine it'd be great to visit during warmer months to take full advantage of the house location and the deck/dock. We still had a very relaxing time at the house. Also, the host was great to work with and very responsive.

Great location directly on Greenwood Lake. Perfect spot for relaxing, swimming, SUP, and just hanging out with friends.

A beautiful lake house at the Greenwood lake. It is absolutely good for a family or friends to get away from the City. Only an hour drive from the NYC. The house is clean and it is pet friendly. Definitely recommended.

We rented this beautiful house for our daughter’s graduation and it was perfect! The home was very well stocked and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and there were nice thick towels in the bathrooms. It was wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the waves on the lake. My husband was even able to catch fish off the dock!

We had a wonderful weekend and the house was clean and very sizable and offered everything we were looking for. Close to vineyards and things to do and being lakefront was perfect. We would definitely stay again and Jody was easy to get a hold of and welcoming.

The house was easy to locate, easy to access, and easy to enjoy. Plenty of nicely furnished “community” space downstairs. Spacious, comfortable bedrooms upstairs. Worked well for two adult couples. Bedroom and room to spare for children. Proximity to hiking and good restaurants made it a great choice for the off-season.
