Ce studio pittoresque est dans un emplacement idéal; l'appartement est à distance de marche de la rivière Kern, centre Kernville, marché, épicerie / magasin d'alcools, restaurants, bistrot-brasserie locale, et des bars. La paisible ville de Kernville est un joyau sud de la Californie, aux antipodes de la grande ville. La région est proche de la forêt nationale de Sequoia.

We came to watch the fire works display and go out to dinner. Unit was exactly as advertised. It was very clean, in a central location and reasonably priced. I would stay there again.

The owner is so easy to work with. This place is just perfect both in value & accommodations. We will always stay here to come and visit our grandkids. Highly recommended; you will not be disappointed.

We have found our home in Kernville. It is so cozy and warm after a cold day on the river it was a joy to walk across the street from Sierra South and be home that fast. Could not have been better.

Nice, no frills rental.
This rental is very clean. No frills but not sparse, it had just about everything we needed. Convenient location, easy to find and close enough to walk to most stores and attractions. The owner is super nice and helpful. Overall a very nice place and very affordable. The people in town are very friendly, too.

Comfortable Studio
We really enjoyed our stay here. The Studio was very Roomy, Clean, has a well stocked kitchen, and the bed was very comfortable. Betty the owner was very helpful and answered any questions we had promptly. Perfect location, walking distance to town and a lot of beautiful hiking near by. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location
The location of this property was in walking distance of downtown Kernville. Close to two local breweries, store and laundry. Kitchen was well stocked, the neighbors were quite. Would stay again. It really worked for the two of us, if you had kids it might be tight.

The location was near the river.
I liked the river nearby. There were decent places to eat within walking distance. The place was clean with a kitchen. The next door neighbor likes his pot, but there’s nothing you can do about that.

Air conditioning
Our boy kept sneezing when we turned on the air conditioner. It was so bad that we decided to leave after one night of stay… Maybe it is just us…

The place was larger and better than the photos show. Clean, cool, and walking distance to everything!

Bigger than anticipated
For a studio apartment it presented much larger. Plenty of storage space. Everything we needed. The location was great. Close to everything. The only drawback to our getaway was extreme heat and very low water. Out of everyone's control.

Cozy place for two!
Easy to get to. Perfect and cozy for 2 people. So much fun tubing on the river. With the unusual high temps the rental was cool with the air evaporative cooler. Actually a life saver! Location was quiet, great places to eat and lots to do.

Great overall, didn't book it expecting to be a 5 star hotel but it was still wonderful. Close access to the brewery and restaurants and very close to the river. Would book again!

Nothing fancy but just about everything a person would need.
The apartment is located right in the middle of Kernville so access to food and other shopping opportunities are easily within walking distance. For the inexpensive price per night I was very happy with the accommodations. Cons: No internet connection.

Perfect little spot!
From the beginning to the end Betty was soooo easy to work with. And when I say the home is clean, I mean CLEAN! Not to mention how cute the little home is!
The other reviews made it sound like a quick easy walk to the river but we didn't know the area so we drove to the main public park /river because hauling our ice chest and other necessities didn't sound pleasing to us. It's only about a 2 minute drive.
I will definitely book this home again! Thanks Betty!

Diamond in the rough
I have to admit I felt a little disappointed when I first saw the building where we stayed, but, this turned out to be a great place.
The studio apartment was roomier than expected and we could leave the bed down and still get around without difficulty.
We thought there was a sitting area but this turned out to be a space in the back. However, once it became shaded, about 6:30 in the evening, it turned out to be a great place to read or just sit outside.
The shower has two balance bars which we truely appreciated. Everything we needed was there to make breakfast in. Overall, a very good experience.

Clean, quite and beautiful view of the mountains.
We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to coming back again in the near future when vacationing in Kernville. We enjoyed eating outside on the little patio looking at the mountains. It was a peaceful location and walking distances to stores, restaurants, laundromat and more.

Its home away from home
I have stayed here twice, and loved it. It has everything you need, and in walking or driving distance to stores, restaurants and the brewery. The river is also, right down the street. Its a quaint little studio, and welcoming. I can't wait to stay here again

Nice quite place to stay
It was clean and cosy. It's nice to have a kitchen to make ones stay a little more convenient. It was close to the brewery where you can have dinner. Circle Park is just around the block where you can visit antique shops. Will probably stay again....Thank you
