Lone Eagle Lodge est situé au bord de l'eau, du côté ouest du lac Buchanan. Ce charmant 2 chambres 1 cabine de bain a une mezzanine avec lit king size et un lit gigogne avec une vue imprenable sur le lac et le ranch privé à travers l'eau. Il y a aussi une chambre privée au rez-de-chaussée avec une grande cuisine ouverte et un salon s'ouvrant sur une terrasse à 2 niveaux menant à une plage de sable fin. La maison se trouve sur 17 hectares avec la vie privée et beaucoup d'espace pour votre paisible évasion. Vous pourrez profiter de la brise du lac, de la paix et de la tranquillité de la campagne et vous divertir en regardant la faune sur le ranch de l'autre côté de l'eau. Il existe une autre location plus grande disponible pour les grands partis sur la propriété. La maison des propriétaires est également située sur la propriété offrant toujours beaucoup d'espace pour la vie privée de chacun. Cet établissement accepte les animaux domestiques et propose un embarcadère, un cale de bateau pour la pêche, l’embarquement et la sécurisation de votre bateau. La pente progressive de l'eau offre une baignade parfaite et / ou l'ancre de votre bateau devant la maison. Très bien situé pour permettre aux enfants d’apporter leurs vélos et d’avoir assez de place pour les faire dans un espace clos avec des routes à toit noir. Il y a aussi un putting green pour les amateurs de golf. Vous pouvez apporter votre propre bateau ou organiser une location de bateau à proximité, ou simplement vous reposer et vous détendre en laissant derrière vous l'agitation de la folle vie urbaine.

My husband and I brought our grandkids, 5, and 7 for a holiday in June. The property itself was clean and reasonably well-appointed. The deck is new. It does have a narrow spiral staircase to the loft which worried me with young children, but they did alright. Also the large windows up in the A frame need a way to keep scorching sun out. Beds were really comfortable and the washer and dryer were nice to have. The kids loved the jacuzzi. Kids also had a blast in the sandy beach. We also were able to hunt for arrowheads with the low water line.
The outlook, across to open fields was nice and we enjoyed their horses, to give carrots and apples. We saw a road-runner. The downside of our stay was that the lake was SUPER low due to the drought and the zebra mussels wreaked havoc on our hands and feet while swimming. It was SO low that the entry was narrow and rocks were covered. Creek sneaks are a MUST. We brought a jet ski and kayaks and were able to enjoy the lake.
The owner was kind and helpful and we would love to go back with more family renting the house next door (also their rental) when the water was higher. This is clearly not the fault of the owners, but renters need to watch the water levels.

Waterfront bliss
Our family of 5 had the most wonderful and relaxing experience staying at this cozy lake house. The splendour of nature around, waterfront and open sky views were a treat for us and the sand beach is ideal for younger children! We will be back for sure, thank you!

Awesome Weekend Getaway

We chose this because it was close to Inks Lake and Colorado Bend State Park. Our kids loved swimming in lake Buchanan and our hosts were amazing.

We had such a great time at Sherri and Alan’s. The house was perfect for our family of 4. So much room! Our teens loved the loft upstairs. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking, swimming and fish. The house was so well stocked and we loved the hot tea selection.

Cozy cabin on the lake sleeps 6 comfortably.

Weekend With the Wife and dogs
When we entered the house it was clean and you could smell the cleanliness. My wife gave it a two thumbs up and knowing my wife that is major. Nice music was playing as well when we entered. Very very happy I chose this location. Be ready to enjoy each others company because if you love to be head down in your phone forget it which is what we need. Sherri did tell us that wifi is ify but she has direct TV with plenty of channels. Sherri is very sweet and nice and communicates well to make sure your stay is pleasant. We will definitely be returning in the future....

Outdoor oasis with nice beach
We enjoyed our 2 day stay at this property! We only had 3 of us & our dog, but was able to kayak, grill out, & sit on deck to relax, read, & enjoy view. Sherri checked in on us once arrived which was nice. There is privacy even though another rental house on property next door. We would come back...great kitchen, access to lake, beach, & massive rock structures as enter property entrance which we took walk to & photos!

Wonderful weekend getaway
My husband and two dogs enjoyed our weekend getaway. We took advantage of the boat rental and charcoal grill. Definitely bring some water shoes as recommended by the owner. You do have houses/cabin on either side but we still felt that it was pretty private. The lake is beautiful. The cabin is very clean and the owners are very friendly and polite. We are so thankful to have found this piece of paradise and have recommended it to other friends and family (as much as we’d love to keep it our little secret!). Thank you for sharing your lake home with us, Sherri and Alan!

Great get away spot!
Great location, beautiful property! The water is great, easy access, lots of places to fish on the property! We lucked out and had it to ourselves for the 3 days we were here. The owners were very nice and easy to get a hold of. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back.

An Amazing Place To Get Away
On reviewer said the pictures do not do this lake house justice and they were right. This place is amazing. The location is perfect, right on the lake and made daily swims and kayak trips so convenient. Alan and Sherri were the best hosts and the communication was perfect. This will be our go to lake home rental for the future.

We loved the lake house and the private little beachfront on the lake. We had a great time swimming, relaxing and sitting on the deck. The owners were great to communicate with and everything went smoothly. We will go back!

Relaxing Escape from Austin
Sherri and Alan were fantastic hosts. The house is exactly as advertized- a very comfortable lake retreat. We had the best time sitting in camp chairs in the water along the beach right out front. We also brought our small 16 ft. boat. It was incredibly easy to put in at the local boat ramp and motor over to their dock. The kitchen was well stocked with more than just the basics. The view of the lake and stars at night was delightful. We brought our 15-week old grandson for his first vacation and had the time of his life splashing in the water. Thank you so much for such a relaxing time.

Perfect Getaway
A friend and I went out for a birthday celebration and the house was even cooler than the pictures. A beautiful deck, great private beach, lots of light in the house from the windows, a fun kitchen stocked with unique dishes and glassware, and fun lake house decor. We’ll definitely be coming back! This was the perfect place for a socially distant few days away. The house was lovely! Kitchen had everything you need! Just bring your food and drinks. We spent all our time outside. The lake was so refreshing. The hosts are perfect! So kind! Thanks for opening your place to our family!! Can’t wait to return in July!

Quiet Lakefront Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. The views from the cabin were beautiful. The outdoor areas where great for our kids. At the suggestion of the owners, we brought our kids bikes for them to ride around the property. We enjoyed the piers for fishing and the Sandy beach for splashing around some in the water despite the water being chilly this time of year. The owners were extremely welcoming and accommodating as well as very responsive. We would definitely love to return and even possibly rent the larger cabin on the property as well. We would highly recommend This great, lakefront cabin.
