Miracle Hill in Desert Hot Springs California is famous for its geothermal mineral springs and having a great Coachella Valley location bordering the Joshua Tree National Park.
This house was perfect for our desert vacation! We enjoyed a very relaxing and healing week. The Desert Hot Springs Mineral Water Oasis vacation house with its own geothermal well water has everything needed for a great family vacation. I highly recommend it, especially for families with children. Our son loved swimming in the warm mineral water pool. The views from the house were amazing and the Joshua Tree National Park entrance was only 45 minutes away.

Cons: hot tub had on again/off again issues throughout our stay and didn’t work at all for an entire day. When I messaged about it, I never got a response. Cleaning crew also showed up at 11am despite us paying $75 for a late check out.

The house was very comfortable and perfect for our needs. The bonus game room was a nice surprise. The mattress in the primary bedroom is THE best mattress I've slept on and I had NO back pain for the 3 nights I slept on it, which for me, is a miracle! My husband took advantage of the hot tub and our dogs loved roaming around the yard.
A few picky odds & ends: a note pad/pen would've been handy to have available as would fresh batteries.
We would've loved to stay longer but couldn't get in touch with the owner via email or text, which was a bummer. He apologized profusely but it was after we had already left. We would definitely return & highly recommend the property.

The property was as described in the listing. However, the gas grill didn't work (seemed that the ignitor may have been broken). I had alerted the property manager but never heard back from him on that. He did respond to some other messages I had sent him, although it generally took some time for him to respond. Unfortunately it was unseasonably cold and even rained one of the days we were there, so we couldn't use the pool as we had anticipated but we used the spa almost daily. Because the weather wasn't the best, we made use of the game room a lot. There is a pool table, giant Jenga, dart board (although there were only 2 darts), giant wall Scrabble, and several gaming systems. Overall the house had what we needed.

We spent 8 nights in this place. In October 2022. We are three ladies over 60 and a small dog. We’ve been coming to Desert Hot Springs for over 35 years mainly for one reason - mineral hot springs water. That was why we selected Desert Hot Springs Oasis. We loved the house and everything in it. It also has a beautiful view from the back yard. Unfortunately, there’s no rails by the steps into the pool and no steps in and out of the hot tub. Two of us couldn’t use the hot tub at all because of that. Pool was very nice and warm for the first 4 days. There was a wind storm on the 4th day and temperature dropped 20 degrees. After that the pool water was cold, wouldn’t warm up as before and we didn’t use it much. Too bad because when it was warm it was wonderful. Hot tub was nice and hot.

This was the 3rd time we have stayed at the Desert Hot Springs Oasis. Again, our stay was great. We enjoyed the wonderful spa and pool. Swam in the mornings, and sat in the hot tub looking at the twinkling lights of Palm Springs in the evenings.
The house is comfortable and well equipped. Tim is an excellent host.

Wonderful Stay In The Desert
My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic stay in the hot California desert for the last 4 days of June, 2022. This house is fully stocked, and is a beautiful rental property. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi over and over as we escaped the 110 degree outside heat. The air conditioner worked flawlessly for the entire stay, and the firm king size bed(s) were the perfect touch for a good night's sleep. The only incident we ran into was that the pool was extremely hot (like a jacuzzi) when we arrived, but Timothy the property manager was able to help us reset the pool equipment so that the water cooled down by the following day. Timothy was available via email and was responsive from the moment we checked-in to the property.
We plan to return to this gem in the desert next spring.
If you plan to stay during late June, you should be aware that there can be very high winds in Desert Hot Springs in the late afternoon/early evenings.

Nice house. Well stocked.
We enjoyed our time. Everyone was quite comfortable. House was fairly well equipped. Could use a few more towels. Could not figure out the Sonos speakers. Only issue we had was finding bottle caps around, including in the pool. Broken glass in the game room and hallway. And our dog getting a hold of a chunk of cannabis. Luckily we got it from her before she could eat it. Otherwise the stay was very enjoyable.

Desert Oasis
This is the 2nd time we stayed at this Oasis in desert. We love the privacy and mineral spring water pool and spa. We will be back again. The house is well stocked and Tim is a great host
We explored the local hiking trails around DHS (Brice’s/Swiss Canyon) as well as Tahquitz Canyon (amazing waterfall) in Palm Springs.

My family and I really enjoyed some R&R at the DHS Oasis. Very nice and clean property with pool and hot tub. Great views of the mountains from the back yard. Evening sunsets were my favorite. Very quiet and relaxing neighborhood.

Fantastic stay!
We had an amazing stay at this property. The home was was clean, the kitchen very well-appointed, super comfortable beds and sheets, nice quiet neighborhood. We loved the privacy and amazing views in the back yard, thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Close proximity to Palm Springs (15-20 minute drive) for shopping and dining: The host was very responsive and highly accommodating. The value for the quality was outstanding! Thank you, Timothy!

Love the pool and view
This property was beautiful the pool with the views at anytime of day was so relaxing and peaceful. So much room for entertaining and cooking in or outdoors. The game room with pool table and games was a nice plus. The cleaning lady went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The host was great with his response time to all questions. We had a great time and will be back.

This is an AWESOME property! The property allows you access to a natural mineral water hot tub and pool, so you can skip the crowds at the resorts! Not only do you get private access tp the hot tub and pool, the property is well stocked with games, including Jenga, video games and a pool table. We had lots to do the one night it rained. The owner Timothy communities often and answers questions quickly. I would definitely book again!

Beautiful Desert Experience
We had a lovely stay. Planned this stay in between a road trip from San Diego heading North. Sunsets each night were breathtaking and the privacy of the spa and pool cannot be beat! Wish we had stayed longer but will look forward to returning one day.

Amazing getaway
We stayed here for a week as a getaway, and it was everything we had hoped for. The house was immaculately clean, had everything we needed and more, and everything was clearly labeled. We LOVED the pool and the hot tub, which were easy to use and so relaxing. The backyard is very private and quiet. We also really enjoyed the game room with the pool table and the amazing range of games to play. Great Wi-Fi speed and connectivity. Timothy was an excellent host - responded right away to messages and was very helpful. Check-in and check-out processes were very quick and efficient. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Great house, accommodations, and view. Lots of little things that make it standout, like the purple pillow, sleep number bed, game room with pool table, and large tv in living. Relaxation in Spa Town
We had a wonderful stay at your Desert Hot Springs house. The house was clean, cute, and had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. The best feature was the spring water pool. We dipped in the spa and cooled off in the pool in the private backyard.
From the house, we hiked to Swiss Canyon desert trail. Other trails pass through the hills and canyons to the North. The excellent restaurants of Palm Springs are 20 minutes away.

Our stay at Timothy's home was amazing! The only issue we had was the listing stated they had a coffee grinder, but when we arrived it was missing. Timothy was apologetic and we were able to make due without it. The hot tub and pool were relaxing!

Quiet, serene getaway
This property was exactly as described in the listing. It was in a quiet residential neighborhood. The home was large enough to enjoy with my spouse and daughter. We each had our own bedroom. I enjoyed the master suite with soaking tub. The kitchen was large and fully stocked with all the gear you need for cooking and baking. The living room was great with a large couch, lots of games and easily accessible tv. We brought our own games but didnt need them. Our plan was to buy groceries and just stay in and relax. We spent a lot of time each day in the mineral springs pool and hot tub. I was amazed at how quiet the neighborhood was - we never heard anything but birds! The view from the pool was of the mountains and was lovely. Check in was easy with a keypad. The owner responded promptly when I asked for help adjusting the indoor temperature. We will likely come here again. The only thing I would do differently is bring extra beach towels as they only provide one per person and my daughter uses a lot more. However, I absolutely loved the terrycloth robes and slippers the owner provided and spent most of my vacation in that robe. SO, if you are a looking for a safe, quiet, relaxing vacation to just hang out by a pool - this is it.

Excellent Stay!
We had a wonderful, hassle free stay! I absolutely would stay here again and highly recommend it for a get away! We loved the mineral spa and swimming pool, it paired perfect with a patio bbq dinner and beautiful scenery. The kitchen was spacious with lots of counter space. The casino was fairly close for the adults and we found a cute little western town for the kids to see. A little something for everyone. My husband loved the flat screen t.v. We will definitely be back. Thank you Tim, for a wonderful get away!
