Super easy to check in. The house was spacious and perfect for our weekend needs. Had plenty of extras so you didn’t need to buy it (oil for cooking, salt, pepper, shampoo, conditioner). Tons of towels were supplied. All of the beds were super comfy and soft!!! My 14 year old got a kick out of the race car bed and chose that bed when he could have had a queen size bed. The place brought out his inner childhood!! Washer/dryer were locked in the basement but the host was quick at responded and provided the code to the lock and all was well!!! Host also gave some great restaurant recommendations. If you go to Macados on Main be sure to ask for Frank, you will not regret it!!!

Stayed for three nights while attending the VISSA State Swimming Championships. House IS only 4 minutes from the pool, allowing our swimmers to rest more rather than ride to and from hotels which were further away. House was comfortable and spacious. Slept great. Boys hung out in the family room watching TV. Neighborhood was quiet. I will definitely look to book this house again should we be back in Christiansburg for a swim meet again.

We stayed for two nights and had a very pleasant time. The house was clean and as described in the listing. Plenty of towels and a well-stocked kitchen in terms of cooking pans/utensils. You will need to bring your own coffee, etc. but there are standard and Keurig makers provided. The location is great (easy drive to Blacksburg) and the upstairs playroom looked great if you were traveling with kids.

We traveled in from out of state to attend our cousins wedding in Blacksburg. Mary is a super communicator. We booked this trip a few months in advance and she was always super fast to respond to our messages and questions even though we were still several weeks out from our stay. She makes you feel like you are her only guest and all of her time and attention is yours. The house was super clean as well! I have never seen a Keurig at a rental property that was as clean as the one here. That is a small thing that is often overlooked, but the first batch of hot water that was run through it for our stay was clean and free of any coffee remnants from others. I can't recommend this property enough. We will definitely be coming back any time we are in the area!

Overall, this was just what we needed! 5 fellas/former VT roommates came back to Blacksburg for our annual get-together and found this somewhat last minute. While only having 1 bathroom can be tough, we made that work, and very much appreciated 6 separate beds (only needed 5) and three separate rooms. Beds were comfy and ready for us when we got there with fresh linens, and fresh towels (plenty of them!) were in the bathroom. Check out process couldn't be eaiser (run the dishwasher and take out trash) and the location to VT was easy and quick. Thanks Mary!

The property was very clean and well equipped. Comfortable and homey feel. Not a busy area but very close to restaurants and stores. Convient to Virginia Tech. Host was vey responsive to questions.

Loved the location! Mary was awesome communicating with me too. We really enjoyed that it was so close to everything, but at the same time we had calmness and a great neighborhood to be in. Will def stay there again when I go back!

Loved the house, it was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was great and very easy to get in touch with! The beds in the house where great best mattress I have ever sleep on!

House has a lot of charm, super clean, towels and sheets smelled terrific, plus all the amenities you need!!!! Nestled in a great location close to everything, yet very quiet. Great spot!!!!

Upon arrival the upstairs room had an overwhelming odor and required airing in order to be used. The kitchen was dirty: fridge needed a thorough cleaning, oven and glass stove top were dirty and created a burning smell when cooking, Toaster had so many crumbs it smelled burned, coffeee pot was grungy, silverware holder was filthy, the Teflon was coming off of the pans and there was rust on many of the serving utensils. During our stay the curtain and weather stripping came off of the back door and the shower curtain fell. The front porch swing is barely usable because half of the slats are broken. Take pictures upon arrival of the chips in the sink and tub and even the VT coasters on the coffee table so you don’t get charged. The owner has charged us $300 for scratching of the dining room table that we are certain we are not responsible for. We believe this is part of a scam. Renters beware if you take out any of the insurance on VRBO. Take pictures upon arrival so you have proof to dispute owner’s claims of damage.

We had a great stay. It was everything we needed to host my elderly mom for the day.

Charming bungalow close to the historic Cambria train depot in Christiansburg. The beds were comfortable with clean bedding which was wonderful. Easy access in and out, and overall a nice stay for our long weekend.

This house was perfect for our family. We were here to celebrate Radford Alumni weekend. House had everything we needed to cook a few meals too. We were a little worried about only 1 bathroom, but it wasn’t a problem at all. We will definitely stay here again.

We rented this precious home while moving our daughter into Virginia Tech! It was so conveniently located getting back and forth to campus. It was quiet and very relaxing and had everything we needed!! Mary was an absolute joy to work with! I hope we can stay here every time we come visit!!

We enjoyed our stay! House was clean, plenty of space, kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels and hot water. Kids entertained themselves for hours with the toys upstairs. House is close to grocery store and other shopping. Mary was good about getting back to us when we had questions.

This was our first visit to the area. We were scheduled to showcase our baseball team at VT on Sunday. Christiansburg/Blacksburg is adorable and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or a more accommodating host! This home sat in a very peaceful neighborhood right down the street from the General Store (also amazing) and an antique store. We visited both! We also visited a couple of breweries recommended by the host. The house was very clean. The beds were super comfy, better than the one I have at home. Plenty of towels and wash clothes were provided. This was the perfect stay! We would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this property to anyone who has plans to visit the area! Only 8-9 minutes from VT. Thank you so much! I found my earrings!

Came back for a weekend of Tech baseball and softball. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and distance to Tech for sports and restaurants and shopping. Definitely felt like coming home again. Love everything about the area, mountains, people food !

This house is an adorable gem and was perfect for our long weekend in town to watch Hokies football! The host was very accommodating and communicative and made us feel welcome before we even arrived. Everything was very clean, fresh, and clearly well cared for. The house has been perfectly prepared to make guests feel cozy and at home. Also, the beds were ridiculously comfortable!! Every single person in our group of 8 commented on the coziness of the beds. The house is also less than 15 minutes from campus and downtown Blacksburg. You have the convenience without the noise or expense of being right in town. We will definitely be back for more fun filled weekends!

6 UNC alums in town for the tech home opener. The house was perfect for a guys trip to watch a game! Clean, comfortable, and spacious.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Mary was very accommodating with our request for a late checkout and then another request to access the home after checkout to find my mother in laws keys. The house was cleaned and well equipped with everything we needed with the exception of a washer/dryer but no big deal as there was a laundromat super close. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay that is very convenient to Tech.

Nice lived-in house in a quiet area with hills. Close to most amenities and conveniencies.
