Okay - let me just say Arizona in August is HOT.
Besides that - the house, the hosts (owners Jack and Diana), the neighborhood and the views - were outstanding. Upon arrival we instantly felt like we were "home" and found everything we needed upon arrival; or just a short drive were shops, dining, hiking, attractions, etc. Just outside our door were the most amazing views (yes, you can look at the "Chapel of The Holy Cross" while relaxing in the hot tub)!
We want to thank our hosts for being "immediately" available to answer questions and/or provide assistance. They were, in fact, simply a phone call/ email/ or text away from any needs that arose. Thank you for a wonderful time at your Casa Magnifica!

The owners were very helpful with leaving detailed information and tips for us, both in email and printed out booklet at the house. The space was clean and prepped for our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids ages 5-14) I especially loved having use of the washer and dryer, as 4 kids tend to need multiple clothes changes each day somehow lol. The view from the hot tub on the back deck was magical, and you could see the Chapel of the Holy Cross as well as several red rock formations. We ventured back behind the house for incredible sunset views. The house is very centrally located to anything you want to do in Sedona. Even though it's off an main street, you dont hear the traffic at all, and the neighborhood is very quiet. It really felt like home away from home for the week and we didnt want to leave! We saw wildlife in the neighborhood and heard coyotes even. The kitchen was stocked for all your home cooking needs as well.

This was our second stay at this lovely property and we can't wait to go back. Very experienced and lovely hosts. It has everything, including close proximity to trails, comfortable beds and linens, well stocked kitchen, hottub with an amazing view and other wonderful outdoor spaces. Very spacious and open floorplan. Great for friends, famiy, or a couple.

The views were stunning. There was a hot tub but we never used it-we were too tired by the time we got in for the evening.
A very comfortable place about 10 minutes south of Sedona, so a little quieter. Near many trails.
The air conditioning was interesting, much colder downstairs than upstairs? But our hot blooded people were downstairs, so it kinda worked out.

This home-away-from-home was perfect for a reunion on collage friends. From the moment we booked this lovely home to the very end, we all felt very comfortable and in awe of the area it was in. The view from the living space was incredible. Each sleeping space was perfect. Everything we needed was there.
We loved the close proximity of trails and the easy access to town and other areas.
Some of us enjoyed the hot sub - it had perfect views of the area around us.
Lastly, when one of our gang left their jacket, it was easy to have it mailed to her.
We recommend this place for a family or friend gathering.

This property is a 1980's house that has been very tastefully rehabbed. Impeccably clean with very well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry. The house cannot be described as cozy, but is large and echoes. Road noise from Rte 179 is audible inside the house and becomes really annoying outside on the deck. Has a great stash of Sedona and Northern Arizona tourist information. The annual Red Rock parking pass was a real bonus and much appreciated as the shuttle buses had not started for the season. For those considering a winter rental, beware that the house heats very unevenly. To achieve a standard 68° in the great room, the master bedroom upstairs is overheated to the mid 70s and the bedrooms in the basement never get to 68°. The hot tub (the highlight of the property) was set in sleep mode at a cool temperature with no instructions for operation so it was our 3rd day before we got it up to temperature after communicating with the in abstentia managers.Overall we had a decent stay, but would not rush to return.

We had such a great time in this place. It was clean and easy to check in. The best was the little extras like the hiking pass, the resident pass, shampoo and conditioner and materials to do laundry if needed. The hot tub was so great with a beautiful view, would recommend for a girls trip. There is only one king bed so would be a bit more difficult for couples.

This house has amazing views of many of the famous rock formations in Sedona. It is centrally located near the Chapel of the Holy Cross and Cathedral Rock. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub and deck offer amazing views and great star gazing opportunities. I highly recommend this property.

We had the house to gather, talk, and reconnect in beautiful and spiritual surroundings. This was our first trip to Sedona and we made sure to have dinner at sunset one evening at a restaurant with a view of the beautiful red mountains. We realized we had just as great a view from the hot tub deck and enjoyed that every other evening. Chapel of the Holy Cross is visible from the hot tub.
The house is close to some trails, a quick ride to town, and had a nice deck where we enjoyed grilling out most evenings. We were there in early May and the weather was gorgeous every day.
We hope to return to Sedona one day and would absolutely rent this home again.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Magnifica! The house was beautiful, very clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed; including a recreation pass, a completely stocked kitchen, fully stocked bathrooms and laundry room, extra linens and towels, and cozy blankets. All we had to bring was our clothes and our groceries. The three decks were wonderful to enjoy the sunshine and warmth during the day and the living room fireplace was lovely for cool evenings. The beds were super comfy. And the location was great, within walking distance of several trailheads and a short drive to others and to everything Sedona has to offer. The hot tub was fantastic with an unbeatable view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay! This house is located in such a great spot...away from the chaos but close enough to everything. Cathedral Rock trail is a short walk away. This worked out great for us because the parking lots fill up early. The house was fully stocked, clean and comfortable. We are a family of 5 and there was more than enough room. I spent the whole month of February here and wouldn’t change a thing! The view from the hot tub/upper deck is reason enough to rent Jeff & Diana’s place! The house was clean & well maintained - I felt right at home. Conveniently located in walking distance to trails and scenic views it’s a short 5 min drive down to Oak Creek Village or no more than 10 minutes to uptown Sedona. I loved being able to take a long walk with my dog over to the Chapel of the Holy cross. I had one minor issue - the hot tub cover blew into some thorns and bushes and I couldn’t get it out. Jeff & Diana were very responsive and was able to get the pool company they use to stop by and help me out. This was such a special place and I look forward to coming back!

This is a great property, especially for large groups. Five of us stayed and we each had our own space. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and all rooms were very clean. The hot tub was such a relaxing treat after a long day of hiking and shopping, and the view from the hot tub deck was breathtaking! We enjoyed the night stars as well as the sunrise from that vantage point. The location is very quiet yet convenient to Sedona, Oak Creek, Cottonwood and even Jerome. Our hosts were very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the house and the location. Close to hiking trails, easy to get to. Owners responded quickly when we had torrential rain and a flash flood which came up into the lower level bathroom (someone had unplugged the sump pump) but they explained where it was and tried to get someone out that night to assist with water. We declined as it began draining and we were leaving the next day. They were also concerned when I mentioned that the frying pans were no longer non-stick and will be replacing them. Overall this was the best vacation in a great house in a wonderful location.

Very nice home and location. Only issue for us was the television... No real tv, only Roku and the television was so big and so high up on a wall that watching a movie gave us sore necks. Otherwise we had a great stay, loved the hot tub after a day in the mountains.

Perfect Stay at Casa Magnifica
Our family stayed at Casa Magnifica for six days to visit Sedona and The Grand Canyon. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was close to town for dining and shopping but not too close so that we had a nice quiet stay. We had everything we needed at the house for an amazing time and we received all necessary instructions for our stay well in advance. Jeff and Diana did a great job managing the property and our stay. We had no issues at all. I highly recommend a stay at Casa Magnifica!
