This house met all our expectations! Rich was very accessible and helpful. The house had plenty of room and the lower deck studio allowed for extra privacy. The view was amazing and the night sky, captivating. The home is aging but priced appropriately. Hope to return!

I love Tahoe and Tahoe City was not a disappointment. Check in was so easy we met with Richard and he drove us up to the house. The house is older and can use some updates on the furniture but the view is extremely amazing. There are four levels with the bedrooms in the loft, the third level and the fourth level so there isn’t a bedroom on the main level so if you have any problems or are disabled this isn’t the house for you. There are a lot of stairs to get to the rooms and they are steep stairs. I do wish there was a screen on the large slider because we had to have the doors open because it was so hot during our visit and we would get lots of bugs inside the house. I appreciate that the house was stocked like I said it would be and there was actually extra things there that I wasn’t expecting, they actually have a Keurig and the barbecue is propane which they provide for you. The private beach that you have access to is not very far from the house, a quick drive and it is packed so it is very nice that Richard had reserved parking for you at the realty office that was very helpful. The water is beautiful but most of the beaches we found were very rocky so be sure to bring your water shoes with you. Oh and the restaurants fill up quickly. We went looking for dinner around 630 and the places in town were already full until closing time so we ended up going to Squaw Valley which was only a few minutes away. All in all we had a wonderful trip. Really appreciate the house to come home to, oh and the hot tub was wonderful. Very relaxing.

The view was breath-taking. Sunrises and sunsets were awesome. The kitchen and laundry were well equipped. The interior was "rustic" and could use an update. The cleaning company did a mediocre job. We had questions that we needed to call the owner about and he was responsive. It would have been nice to have a sheet with important information on it (TV channels, WIFI password, gas for the grill, bear awareness, etc.) to avoid having to call the owner. The private beach was not within walking distance (with towels, chairs, etc.) but parking at the owner's business solved that issue. We would consider this a good value for another stay.

This was our second stay at the property, and we enjoyed it even more than the first time! The view is spectacular and cannot be beat. Richard was extremely warm, helpful, and kind. He helped us with a few requests, and offered some local insight. Would love to stay again!!!

This house is all about the views. From the bed in the loft you can watch the lake light up for the day. From the hot tub in the evening you can watch boats return to the marina. Beautiful place, hope to stay here again!

Great location and check in was super easy. Richard responded to my question fairly quick. Despite the smoke due to the fires we were still able to have a great view of the lake.

Rich was awesome. We was very responsive and willing to help with anything in a very timely manner. Oh, and that view...Wow!

We loved the lake view and the hot tub. The house was close to everything we wanted to do in the area.

This place is great!!! 10/10 would stay again! The views of the sunrise and sunset from the deck were incredible. There’s access to a private beach 2 minutes away. A short 5-15 minute drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Just under 30 minutes to Emerald Bay! Richard was an amazing host and provided all the necessities and information we needed. Can’t wait to come back to this awesome property!

We rented this home for the view and it did not disappoint. Sleeping in the loft and waking to the beautiful sunrise over the lake each morning was amazing. The house is clean and comfortable and the beds are also very comfortable. The deck and hot tub were perfect and star gazing at night excellent. The kitchen is also very well equipped for cooking compared to many other homes we’ve rented. We also liked having beach access to the home owners’ association beach and the parking spot in the owner’s business was extremely convenient during the busy 4th of July week. The home would be rated 5 stars given some updates to the interior: kitchen, baths, decor and furnishings. However, it was as we expected and we would definitely not hesitate to stay again. It was a wonderful experience and Rich was a pleasure to work with.

The house was perfect for our trip. Hot tub works perfectly and is well kept. The grill and patio made for awesome dinners with a truly stunning view and the wall of windows on the lake side gave us the same views from the lofted master bedroom. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Management / ownership is wonderful - they went out of their way to make this is wonderful stay. Walking distance to amazing hiking / biking trails, some of the best in Tahoe. Quite a ways up the mountain, so you're going to drive everywhere else. Learning that's Tahoe. Place is a little tired, and one of the neighbors keeps interesting (early morning activity) hours. Value for money we would stay here again - the view is likley one of the best anywhere!

Beautiful view from the deck and lovely location for the hot tub, unfortunately it was a very smokey week due to all the CA fires so the view was greatly compromised. The cabin was clean, offered very comfortable beds and was well equipped. We would recommend a ceiling fan in the "loft" or 3rd bedroom location which would help to circulate the air and cool the loft on very warm days/nights. Rich Wilson whom we rented from was very responsive, gracious and helpful with any questions we had. We would recommend this rental for future guests. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was comfortable and the view was beautiful. It was in a convenient location to the Sunnyside restaurant, Fire Sign Cafe, and the West Shore Market, which were all great. We would stay there again!

Did I mention that this place has a spectacular view?! The deck is bigger than it looks in the photos, and we enjoyed being out there all day: eating, reading, writing, doing yoga. Very quiet neighborhood with TONS of trails down the street. We went on amazing hikes right from the house. Super close to restaurants, grocery, shopping, and bike trails. Well appointed kitchen. We loved our stay here and look forward to repeat visits! Manager was GREAT! Super helpful, even drove up to the house with us and showed us the neighborhood trail heads.
