I travelled with 2 kids and needed a one night stay-over. It is a bit far from the highway nevertheless still a good place to rest. The apartment is very clean, 2 bedrooms, a living room and a small dining room / office with a table to dine and a desk for a temporary office. Separate kitchen and bathroom. It is actually the entire building converted into 4 vacation apartments. The kids loved complimentary chocolates and gummi bears and I liked complimentary beer, water and sparkling wine :-) Very responsive hosts. Appreciate this. If I travel again and need a stay-over, I'll definitely consider this place. I may even stay there shall I decide to visit Dresden.

There are a couple of things a visitor needs to be aware of: 1. Parking: difficult to park in front to get unpacked. There is a parking on the other side of the building but this is a 7 min walk around the block. Thus unloading the vehicle may be tricky. 2. The apartment (no 4) is located on the 3rd floor. Floors are high and there is no escalator. You need to use the stairs. If you carry a baby stroller you need to leave it on the ground floor. If you are yourself or are travelling with someone with mobility restrictions I would not recommend the place. 3. The attic (apt 4) may get hot on sunny days. Otherwise, it is a nice, clean and spacious place to stay for a family of 4.

The working space and living room

It was just going to be an average place during our way to Switzerland. An accomodation for one night, but when we had found books and leaflet information about the town and its history in the appartment we decided to spend there a few hours the next day and had a look at the main tourist attractions. We liked this town for the architecture and slow life atmosphere very much. An appartment was very comfortable and there was much more space than we expected. It was extremely clean and equiped in everything we would need for longer stay.
